The purpose of this study was to investigate the nature of engagement and the quality of my students’ writing composition when I implement a writing workshop. To facilitate both specific and in-depth data collection and analysis, I conducted a multiple-case study, examining three of my kindergarten students with a spectrum of literacy skills (Mertler, 2019). The multiple-case study lasted 11 weeks and contained three phases of data collection. Data showed that the participants were most engaged in elements of the writing process that corresponded to their viewed strengths as a writer and preferences. Using the philosophy of liberation from the Brazilian philosopher and teacher Paulo Freire, I formulated the following guiding questions for my research: 1) how is dialogue facilitated within SPIRE, and 2) how is critical action reflected in the reading content of SPIRE? This study intended to determine the benefits of using differentiated math stations in a first-grade classroom. The goal was to learn if the levels of differentiated stations affected the first-grade students’ ability to select meaningful and challenging work. Six students from my first-grade class were selected as participants for a purposeful, stratified sample. All participants were volunteers. A research action design method was used to observe participants’ level selections and strategies. These meetings were to occur every Saturday over Zoom, starting in October of 2020. There were 14 different presentations, dispersed among the 3 AVI members to present on their corresponding day. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, an Introductory Biology course at a private university was reformatted to an online format. To examine student perceptions of the effectiveness of the laboratory portion of the course, a researcher designed questions based on the Vision and Change core competencies and presented them to a representative sample of students in virtual interviews. The themes which emerged from the student responses were that students had positive views of their comfort level with the scientific method, the virtual laboratory synchronous format, worksheet activities, breakout rooms, and lessons with social relevance to college-aged students.

Two separate patient satisfaction surveys were sent out to LifeCare Alliance’s customers. Each patient was asked a set of five questions that generalized the encounters as a whole experience. The first survey is for patients that were seen by nurses for footcare, general wellness and more (1A - PowerPoint). This study was an instructional inquiry project using a single participant research design and mixed methods data collection. The study investigated the implementation of PEAK (Promoting the Emergence of Advanced Knowledge) Relational Training System: Direct Training Module (Dixon, 2014), specifically when focused on the behavior of a second-grade student with ASD in a specialized learning center. By conducting a pre-assessment with a single subject, deficits in foundational skills were identified and three focus behaviors were chosen for the intervention. This study aims to measure perceptions of family centered care among expectant mothers in Columbus while assessing potential racial differences in order to improve prenatal outcomes. In order to do this, surveys were distributed to pregnant women at 10 clinics providing prenatal care in Columbus and sleep sacks were provided to women who completed the survey. There was a total of 401 surveys collected between August 2019 and January 2020. The conclusion being that one in five women report not receiving family centered care during their prenatal appointments, however there was no racial difference for family centered care.
