This thesis analyzes the correlation between a team’s statistics and the success of their performances, and develops a predictive model that can be used to forecast final season results for that team. Data from the 2017-2018 Premier League season is to be gathered and broken down within R to highlight what factors and variables are largely contributing to the success or downfall of a team. A multiple linear regression model and stepwise selection process is then used to include any factors that are significant in predicting in match results.

Mechanisms Of Improving The Motor Activity Of Children Aged 6-7 Years Through Initial Gymnastics Classes, Gulhayo Kholboevna Kholboeva

Eurasian Journal of Sport Science

Purpose: Development of motor activity, physical fitness of children by means of rhythmic exercises based on initial gymnastics.

Methods: in the study we used the following methods: pedagogical testing, pedagogical experiment, heart rate monitoring, somatoscopy, mathematical statistics.

Results: As a result of the study, it was found that in children 6-7 years old, on the basis of rhythmic exercises based on initial gymnastics, motor activity increases by 11.4%, and physical fitness-by 11.32%. After the experiment, changes in the statistical reliability of the test results were revealed (p<0.05 and higher, 847 ±0.9, tct =1.55).

Through a review of scholarly research articles, this study examines female sports fan motivations and behaviors and how they differ from the classic male sports fan. This study investigates the effects of message framing on parents’ attitudes toward concussion in youth sports. One of two digital surveys were sent via email to each of 250 participants. 125 participants received a survey preceded by a negative-framed infographic. The other 125 participants received a survey preceded by a positive-framed infographic. Our analysis shows the framed-message infographics had a negligible effect on parents’ attitudes toward concussion in youth sports. We conclude that regardless of knowledge or understanding of concussions, parents are likely to allow participation in full contact and collision sports. Aim: Teaching 10 ages children to run medium distances, improving general physical fitness, improving the body in all aspects, and mastering running exercise techniques while increasing the level of special physical fitness.

Methods and Results: The results of the 10 ages children running 600 meters in the first year of the primary training group were 2: 06.0 ± 0.21 in the experimental group and 2: 08.0 ± 0.30 in the control group. The statistical difference between them did not differ on the Student- t criterion t = 0.44.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to find evidence of the benefits and constraints of collaborative consumption experiences by investigating the perceptions of hosts and visitors that attended professional regular season basketball and baseball games in the USA.

Design/methodology/approach – Data were collected through four focus groups with 37 total participants, and were analyzed through qualitative content analysis.

Findings – The results show that participants in a collaborative consumption experience perceive four types of value: social interaction and belonging, new fandom, travel bucket list experiences, and local and sport knowledge. In addition, the results provide evidence of five …

The landscape of women in college sports has improved dramatically since the enactment of Title IX in 1972. Participation rates and funding have increased, providing a more inclusive environment for female student-athletes to compete. However, females ascending to leadership positions within the NCAA has experienced a downward trend. The Physiology Majors Interest Group (P-MIG), a grassroots organization of educators, has collected data on the history and characteristics of Physiology and highly related undergraduate programs (ex: Human Biology, Pre-Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, etc.) that serve a common population of prehealth students. Data was obtained as part of an online survey sent out to P-MIG conference attendees at the 2017-2019 annual meetings (n=30). New Zealand has an aging population and, despite falling drowning tolls in all other age groups (WSNZ, 2019c), older adults have continued to drown in both increasing numbers and proportion. The reasons for this are not well understood since very little drowning research has focused on older people. A water safety survey (N = 389) seeking information on older adults’ aquatic recreational practices and perceptions of safety was conducted at the end of the summer season, 2019. Several water safety organizations have attempted to improve reporting regarding lifeguard actions in order to better understand the characteristics of successful, non-fatal rescues. In 2003, a collective effort initiated the Lifeguard Rescue Reporting System, an online survey distributed to lifeguards and facility managers across the United States and Canada to better understand rescue actions performed in pools/spas, water parks, and open water areas. After seven years of data collection, the online survey accumulated data reflecting 1,676 rescue actions, collecting information including location, victim characteristics and outcome, rescuer characteristics and strategies, and other general circumstances.
