Fundraising For A Cause, Taylor Prosek May 2005

Fundraising For A Cause, Taylor Prosek

Whittier Scholars Program

When I first began thinking about what type of project I would like to do, I realized that I definitely wanted to conduct an action oriented project instead of a research paper. I felt that since this project would consume much of my time and effort, I wanted some group of people to benefit from my hard work. Based on that foundation, I got into contact with Claudia Dorrington of the Social Work Department and explained to her my feelings and ideas. She in turn put me into contact with Ted Knoll, the director of First Day Coalition, a transitional …

This "globalization demands that consumer researchers have experience and knowledge about individual countries and international conditions" (Arnould et al, 2002). The globalization of consumer research "demands that...researchers have experience and knowledge about individual countries and international conditions...meaningful synthesis and comparison demands not just proficiency in statistical methods and languages but insights into cultural differences" (Arnould et al, 2002). What is important for marketers to understand is the relationship between culture and product meanings. One important area of meanings involves personal meanings such as those high involvement …

Her management philosophy has been influenced by advice from her mentor and by her personal experiences working with her direct reports when they were her colleagues. This leave would allow me to greatly improve my knowledge base for teaching and ultimately my future students will have a better opportunity to learn.

In order to do that, is important first to explain the context in which these generation exist, as well as the characteristics that overwhelmingly classify the people who were born into them. In order to show these changes …
