Decentralized Finance (DeFi) is a new financial infrastructure with applications similar to traditional financial products, such as exchange, lending, derivatives, and asset management. This paper empirically investigates Yearn finance, one of the fastest-growing and largest in DeFi yield aggregator protocols for on-chain asset management, to demonstrate the flow-performance relationship and compare it with mutual funds in traditional finance. According to the findings, there is a positive non-linear relationship between fund flows and recent performance for using stablecoin deposited. In contrast, we cannot find this relationship for using cryptocurrency. Then, we look further into stablecoin holder behaviour and our findings show …

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of momentum strategies in investment portfolios, a well-known anomaly in the efficient market hypothesis, by portfolio are constructed by long winners and short losers. Recession is known to cause an increase in stock return predictability. The COVID-19 pandemics had not only resulted in sickness and loss of life but also plunged global economy into recession prompting governments to come up with measures to combat the disease. This paper first confirms that return predictability increased due the spread of COVID-19 using data from 41 countries on variations of popular predictors. Furthermore, it shows that government responses to COVID-19 alleviated the pandemic, the recession and reduced the return predictability with varying impact for different government measures. This research studies about using GARCH model variants as a parametric way in estimation and prediction of daily Value-at-Risk (VaR), one of famous risk measurement especially in financial world. To cope with various stylized facts on market’s volatility, two mixed GARCH models are proposed in this research: HY-GJR-GARCH model, the hybrid between hyperbolic GARCH (HYGARCH) and GJR-GARCH models, and HY-MS-GARCH model as the amalgam between HYGARCH and Markov switching GARCH (MSGARCH) models. Two major corporate governance-related regulatory changes, one in 1999 and one in 2008, were implemented as a means to increase the independence of boards of directors of public companies in Thailand. I study whether each of these regulatory changes affects the degree of and leads to substitution of accrual-based earnings management (AEM) and real earnings management (REM), plus the effect of family ownership on the type and degree of earning management. The focus of this study is to analyze the shape of the yield curve on credit portfolios during crises, specifically those that are exposed to both interest rate and credit risks. To achieve this, We utilized a reverse stress test (RST) and macroeconomic measures (such as GDP and U.S risk-free yields) from the period of 1981 to 2014 to estimate mathematical models. Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) contribute significantly to the economy, despite the fact that their survival rate is declining over generations. The purpose of this research is to create a communication model suitable for SMEs during succession for innovation and business sustainability. Amorphous cellulose-graphene oxide bead composites are popularly employed in water purification. However, the existing fabrication methods of amorphous cellulose (AC) and amorphous cellulose-graphene oxide (ACGO) beads are complicated with many chemical use, multi-step, time and energy-consuming. In this research, we proposed an efficient method for fabricating amorphous cellulose-graphene oxide (ACGO) beads using less chemical under a simple 2-step approach. The production process of AC and ACGO beads was successfully fabricated via sulfuric acid (H2SO4) gelatinization and regeneration using eucalyptus paper as a raw material. บริษัทในกรณีศึกษาใช้วิธีการวางแผนการผลิตโดยอาศัยประสบการณ์ของผู้จัดการและพนักงานฝ่ายดูแลสินค้าคงคลังซึ่งส่งผลให้สินค้าในบางช่วงเวลาขาดแคลน ทำให้ต้องปรับเปลี่ยนแผนการผลิตแบบฉับพลัน ส่งผลกระทบต่อสายการผลิต ทำให้ต้องหยุดเครื่องจักรเพื่อตั้งค่าใหม่ เสียโอกาสในการผลิตสินค้า และอัตราส่วนสินค้าที่ได้มาตรฐานจะลดลงจากค่าเฉลี่ย หรือบางครั้งก็เกิดปัญหาสินค้าคงคลังมีมากเกินความต้องการ เกิดค่าใช้จ่ายในการเก็บสินค้าคงคลังเพิ่มเติม และยังทำให้เกิดค่าใช้จ่ายในการผลิตสูงขึ้นจากปกติ งานวิจัยชิ้นนี้จึงต้องการที่จะแก้ปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้น โดยใช้การพยากรณ์ยอดขายสินค้าเข้ามาช่วยในการปรับปรุงแผนการผลิต เพื่อให้มีความแม่นยำและสอดคล้องกับคำสั่งซื้อจริงที่เกิดขึ้นให้มากที่สุด งานวิจัยชิ้นนี้ได้เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลยอดขายย้อนหลังเป็นเวลา 36 เดือน โดยที่ใช้ข้อมูล 24 เดือนแรกในการหาตัวแบบการพยากรณ์ที่เหมาะสม และใช้ข้อมูลอีก 12 เดือนที่เหลือในการวัดผล ซึ่งพบว่ารูปแบบของข้อมูลยอดขายของ 7 กลุ่มสินค้าหลัก มีลักษณะคงที่ ไม่มีแนวโน้มและไม่มีฤดูกาลเหมือนกันหมด จึงเลือกใช้วิธีวิธีการหาค่าเฉลี่ยเคลื่อนที่ วิธีการปรับเรียบเอกซ์โพเนนเชียลอย่างง่าย และวิธีบ็อกซ์-เจนกินส์ในการกำหนดตัวแบบที่เหมาะสมตามแต่ละกลุ่มสินค้า ก่อนที่จะทำการพยากรณ์ยอดขายและวางแผนการผลิตใหม่โดยมีเป้าหมายที่จะลดจำนวนครั้งที่ต้องสั่งผลิตสินค้าต่ำกว่ากำหนด และลดจำนวนสินค้าคงคลังและค่าใช้จ่ายในส่วนสินค้าคงคลังลง ซึ่งจากผลการวิจัยพบว่าแผนการผลิตใหม่ที่ใช้การพยากรณ์ยอดขายเข้ามาช่วยในการวางแผน สามารถประหยัดค่าใช้จ่ายในส่วนของการเก็บรักษาสินค้าคงคลังโดยรวมลงเหลือ 4,188,094 บาท จากเดิม 4,646,831 บาท คิดเป็น 458,737 บาท หรือลดลง 9.87 %

การวิจัยเรื่อง “ระบบประเมินพฤติกรรมเชิงนวัตกรรมของพนักงานในอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์” มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาองค์ประกอบพฤติกรรมเชิงนวัตกรรมของวิศวกรจากทีมพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่ ที่ทำงานในอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ไทย (2) สร้างแบบจำลองพฤติกรรมเชิงนวัตกรรมของวิศวกรจากทีมพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่ ที่ทำงานในอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ไทย (3) พัฒนาระบบประเมินพฤติกรรมเชิงนวัตกรรมของวิศวกรจากทีมพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่ ที่ทำงานในอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ไทย (4) ประเมินผลการยอมรับและการศึกษาเชิงพาณิชย์ของระบบประเมินพฤติกรรมเชิงนวัตกรรมของวิศวกรจากทีมพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่ ที่ทำงานในอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ไทย (5) เพื่อวิเคราะห์ความเป็นไปได้เชิงธุรกิจ (Business feasibility) ของนวัตกรรมระบบประเมินพฤติกรรมเชิงนวัตกรรมของวิศวกรจากทีมพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่ ที่ทำงานในอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ไทย การวิจัยนี้เป็นงานวิจัยแบบผสมผสาน (Mixed Methods Research) การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพประกอบด้วยการทบทวนวรรณกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้อง และการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก การวิจัยเชิงปริมาณประกอบด้วยการเก็บข้อมูลด้วยแบบสอบถาม การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยสถิติพื้นฐาน การวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบเชิงยืนยัน การพัฒนาระบบประเมินพฤติกรรมเชิงนวัตกรรม และการทดสอบการยอมรับ เพื่อนำเสนอแนวทางการพัฒนาเชิงพาณิชย์ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย (1) แบบสัมภาษณ์ความคิดเห็นผู้เชี่ยวชาญ จำนวน 6 คน เรื่องแบบจำลองพฤติกรรมเชิงนวัตกรรม (2) แบบสอบถามสำหรับงานวิจัย สำหรับเก็บข้อมูล 500 คน (3) แบบรับรองแบบจำลองพฤติกรรมเชิงนวัตกรรม สำหรับผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ จำนวน 5 คน (4) แบบประเมินระบบคอมพิวเตอร์สาหรับประเมินพฤติกรรมเชิงนวัตกรรม สำหรับผู้เชี่ยวชาญ 3 คน (5) แบบประเมินผลการยอมรับระบบประเมินพฤติกรรมเชิงนวัตกรรม สำหรับพนักงาน จำนวน 30 คน กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการศึกษาประกอบด้วย วิศวกรจากทีมพัฒนา ผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่ของกลุ่มบริษัทในอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ พนักงานฝ่ายบุคคล ผลการวิจัยพบว่า แบบจำลองพฤติกรรมเชิงนวัตกรรมที่พัฒนาขึ้นมีความสอดคล้องกับข้อมูลเชิงประจักษ์ ประกอบด้วย 8 องค์ประกอบของพฤติกรรมเชิงนวัตกรรม ได้แก่ การแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ การรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเอง ความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหา ทักษะการทำงานร่วมกัน บรรยากาศสภาพแวดล้อมของงาน การสนับสนุนนวัตกรรมขององค์กร วัฒนธรรมแห่งการเรียนรู้ และภาวะผู้นาของผู้บริหาร การพัฒนาระบบประเมินพฤติกรรมเชิงนวัตกรรมจากแบบจำลอง ได้รับการยอมรับว่าระบบมีประสิทธิภาพและเหมาะสมในการใช้งานในระดับสูง การศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ทางการตลาด การบริการ และการเงิน พบว่า ระบบประเมินพฤติกรรมเชิงนวัตกรรมของพนักงานในอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ มีโอกาสในการใช้ประโยชน์เชิงพาณิชย์ ด้วยวิธีการการกำหนดราคาแบบอัตราเดียว (Flat-rate pricing) และ การกำหนดราคาตามปริมาณการใช้งาน (Usage-based pricing) ด้านการวิเคราะห์การเงิน พบว่า ระยะเวลาคืนทุนอยู่ที่ 3 …

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ ศึกษาปัจจัยโลจิสติกส์การท่องเที่ยวที่ส่งผลต่อนักท่องเที่ยวเชิงส่งเสริมสุขภาพในจังหวัดภูเก็ต วิเคราะห์และจัดลำดับความสำคัญ และระดับความพึงพอใจของนักท่องเที่ยวเชิงส่งเสริมสุขภาพชาวต่างชาติ ต่อปัจจัยโลจิสติกส์การท่องเที่ยว และเสนอแนวทางในการพัฒนาและปรับปรุงการจัดการโลจิสติกส์การท่องเที่ยวเชิงส่งเสริมสุขภาพในจังหวัดภูเก็ต รวบรวมข้อมูลด้วยแบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ผลด้วยเทคนิค IPA แบบสอบถามแบ่งตามกลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักท่องเที่ยวเชิงส่งเสริมสุขภาพชาวต่างประเทศ จำนวน 140 ราย ผู้ประกอบการเพื่อสุขภาพ จำนวน 18 ราย และภาคส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้องอื่น ๆ จำนวน 5 ราย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) นักท่องเที่ยวเชิงส่งเสริมสุขภาพชาวต่างชาติ ส่วนใหญ่อยู่ในวัยทำงาน เป็นผู้มีการศึกษา ประกอบอาชีพธุรกิจส่วนตัวและพนักงาน/ เจ้าหน้าที่บริษัท มีรายได้ปานกลางค่อนข้างสูงถึงสูง เป็นชาวยุโรปและอเมริกามากที่สุด (2) นักท่องเที่ยวเชิงส่งเสริมสุขภาพชาวต่างชาติ ให้ความสำคัญปัจจัยโลจิสติกส์การท่องเที่ยวภาพรวมรายด้านมากที่สุดทุกด้าน ได้แก่ ด้านบุคลากร ด้านการเงิน ด้านบริการในสถานประกอบการเพื่อสุขภาพ ด้านกายภาพ ด้านสถานที่ท่องเที่ยว และด้านข้อมูลข่าวสาร ตามลำดับ (3) นักท่องเที่ยวฯ มีระดับความพึงพอใจต่อปัจจัยโลจิสติกส์การท่องเที่ยว ภาพรวมรายด้านมากที่สุดในด้านการเงิน ด้านบุคลากร และด้านสถานที่ท่องเที่ยว ตามลำดับ (4) ปัจจัยโลจิสติกส์การท่องเที่ยวที่จำเป็นต้องดำเนินการให้มีการปรับปรุงอย่างเร่งด่วน คือ ภาพรวมในด้านบริการในสถานประกอบการ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งปัจจัย สถานประกอบการเพื่อสุขภาพมีการให้บริการที่หลากหลาย และปัจจัยโลจิสติกส์ที่ทำได้ดี คือ ด้านบุคลากร (บริการด้วยความสุภาพ อ่อนน้อม เอาใจใส่) และด้านการเงิน (ค่าบริการ) ทั้งนี้ เพื่อเป็นเสริมจุดแข็ง และเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของการท่องเที่ยวเชิงส่งเสริมสุขภาพ จำเป็นต้องเร่งปรับปรุงในปัจจัย มีความรู้และความเชี่ยวชาญในการให้บริการที่ดี (ด้านบุคลากร) และ มีบริการ Cashless ในสถานประกอบการเพื่อสุขภาพและแหล่งท่องเที่ยว (ด้านการเงิน)

Research concerning the relationship between advertising intensity and corporate social responsibility has yielded mixed results. Some scholars have found a positive link, supporting a complementary perspective, while others have found a negative link, supporting a substitute perspective. The authors of this current study employ a contingency perspective to propose that the focal relationship is moderated by national philanthropic environments, which reflects the propensity of a nation to be philanthropic. With a sample of 271 firms from 13 countries, a hierarchical linear model analysis was conducted, and the findings support the contingency perspective. This paper examines the relative advantages of single-product and multiproduct firms following changes in customer switching costs. Whereas a single-product firm can closely tailor offerings to customers' needs, a multiproduct firm can create value for customers in the form of flexibility, allowing them to change between product varieties as preferences evolve without needing to switch providers. We argue that this value-creation mechanism is more effective when customers face high switching costs and explore this prediction in the mobile telecommunications sector, using an exogenous policy change (mobile number portability) that suddenly decreases customer switching costs. Prior research assumes that high-status actors have greater organizational influence than lower-status ones, that is, it is easier for the former to get their ideas and initiatives adopted by the organization than it is for the latter. Drawing from the literature on ideology, we posit that the status-influence link is contingent on actors’ ideological position. Specifically, status confers organizational influence to the degree that the focal actor is ideologically mainstream. The more an actor’s ideology deviates from the mainstream the less will her status translate into increased organizational influence. We find support for this hypothesis using data on the work …

This study focuses on the role of emotions in personnel selection and faking research. In particular, we posit that emotions are likely to be activated when applicants receive warning messages from organizations. Drawing on Nabi (Nabi, Communication Theory, 9, 1999, 292) cognitive-functional model of discrete negative emotions, we propose and empirically test the effects of three discrete negative emotions (guilt, fear, and anger) triggered by a warning message during a personality test on personality score accuracy and perceived test fairness. Bucket brigades are notably used to coordinate workers in production systems. We study a J-station, I-worker bucket brigade system. The time duration for each worker to serve a job at a station is exponentially distributed with a rate that depends on the station's expected work content and the worker's work speed. Our goal is to maximize the system's productivity or to minimize its inter-completion time variability. Heuristics are fast, frugal, and accurate strategies that enable rather than limit decision making under uncertainty. Uncertainty, as opposed to calculable risk, is characteristic of most organizational contexts. We review existing research and offer a descriptive and prescriptive theoretical framework to integrate the current patchwork of heuristics scattered across various areas of organizational studies. Research on the adaptive toolbox is descriptive, identifying the repertoire of heuristics on which individuals, teams, and organizations rely. The ASEAN region is one of the most susceptible regions to climate change, with three of its countries—Myanmar, the Philippines, and Thailand—among those that have suffered the greatest fatalities and economic losses because of climate-related disasters. This paper reveals that the ASEAN’s environmental performance is sorely lagging other regions despite evidence of its cohesive and comprehensive efforts to mitigate emissions and build up adaptive capacity to climate-related disasters. Within the ASEAN, there exist gaps in environmental performance between each country. The novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has caused a global pandemic. Some studies have suggested a negative association between sunlight intensity and COVID-19 infection, alluding to the belief that it might be safe to go out on sunny days. This paper examined whether solar radiation mitigated the association between human mobility and COVID-19 infection in Europe using a dynamic panel data model to investigate the effect of human mobility, solar radiation, and their interaction on COVID-19 infection. Partly due to inherent uncertainties at sea and ports, the liner shipping industry has long had a notorious reputation of schedule delays and unreliable on-time performance.
