هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على أثر هيكل أنظمة الرقابة الداخلية وفقا لنموذج COSO 2013 على تحسين جودة أداء التدقيق الخارجي، ولتحقيق أهداف الدارسة فقد استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، وتم تصميم استبانة تتناسب مع موضوع الدراسة وأهدافها وزعت على الممارسين لمهنة تدقيق الحسابات. وقد تم توزيع (110) استبانة وقد استرد منها عدد (90) استبانة بنسبة 81 % من الاستبيانات، ولاختبار فرضيات الدراسة تم استخدام تحليل الانحدار (Regression ). وكان من أهم نتائج الدراسة وجود أثر لهيكل أنظمة الرقابة الداخلية وفقا لنموذج COSO 2013 على تحسين جودة أداء التدقيق الخارجي، كما أشارت النتائج إلى درجة التزام كبيرة من قبل الشركات …

Since deuterium 2H (D) is an isotope of hydrogen 1H, the testing of the possibility of photochemical synthesis of marked chlorinated phenol, biphenyl and benzene using normal solvents was studied. The irradiation of full chlorinated compounds dissolved in normal solvents such as MeOH or n-hexane has led to a reaction substitution in which a chlorine atom was substituted by hydrogen atom forming less grade chlorinated chlorophenols, biphenyls and benzenes. The quantum yields of pentachlorophenol, decachlorobiphenyl and hexachlorobenzene under irradiation using polychromatic light were calculated and found to be 5.7 x 10-3, 1.6 x 10-2 and 1.2 x 10-2 Mol·Einstein-1, respectively. …

هذه الدراسة جزء من دراسة عامة تناولت وضع تعلم وتعليم الهندسة في فلسطين من خلال دراسة مستويات التفكير الهندسي لدى الطلبة والمعلمين وكذلك مستويات التفكير الهندسي المقدمة في كتب الرياضيات المدرسية في فلسطين، لكننا نركز هنا فقط على الطلبة والمعلمين. تكونت عينة الطلبة من 1240 طالبا وطالبة في الصفوف السادس والثامن والعاشر. أما عينة المعلمين فكانت عينة عشوائية طبقية تكونت من 191 معلماً ومعلمة للرياضيات موزعين على كافة محافظات الضفة الغربية. وأظهرت النتائج انخفاض مستويات التفكير الهندسي بين أوساط الطلبة، فمثلاً ثلث الطلبة تقريباً لم يحققوا المستوى صفر وهو المستوى الأدنى من التفكير الهندسي. يمكن القول أن معظم الطلبة يقعون …

The model for the solvent extraction of palm kernel oil from palm kernel was generated for the process at varying particle sizes of palm kernel, temperature of extraction, duration of extraction and mass of palm kernel respectively using Least Square Linear Equation. Petroleum ether was used as solvent to carry out the extraction in a soxhlet apparatus. The percentage oil yield was determined for every extraction carried out. In this paper the performance analysis of Mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) is conducted for a differential QPSK (DQPSK) signals with post-detection equal gain combining (EGC) receiver operating over additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) as well as for slow frequency nonselective η − µ fading channels, in which the diversity branches can have unequal signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) as well as different severity parameters. However, these methods fail to provide an accurate for discrimination and authentication, suggesting the use of other method inevitable. Early detection of plant disease requires usually elaborating methods techniques and especially when symptoms are not visible. Olive Leaf Spot (OLS) infecting upper surface of olive leaves has a long latent infection period. In this work, VIS/NIR spectroscopy was used to determine the latent infection and severity of the pathogens. Two different classification methods were used, Partial Least Squared-Discrimination Analysis (PLS-DA) (linear method) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) (non-linear). The Point Spread As A Reference Point: Evidence From The National Basketball Association, George Diemer, Michael Leeds

A contentious literature surrounds the claim that heavy favorites’ failure to cover the point-spread in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) basketball could indicate point-shaving. This paper extends the literature by using a new methodology to show that favorites in the National Basketball Association (NBA) also frequently fail to cover the spread. However, the high salaries in the NBA make point-shaving by players unlikely. Moreover, heavy underdogs also fail to cover the point spread and lose by more than expected. These seemingly anomalous findings are consistent with underdogs’ using the point-spread as a reference point.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 15, 2022) – Texas songwriter and entertainer Robert Earl Keen will wrap up 41 years on the road with his 2022 Final Tour, “I’m Comin’ Home: 41 Years On The Road.” Keen’s final public concert will be Sept. 4 in Texas.  

Before that final concert, however, Keen is spending his summer saying farewell to fans across the country.
