The Distinction Of Logical Decision According To The Model Of The Analysis Of Brain Signals (Eeg), Akeel Abdulkareem Al-Sakaa, Zaid H. Nasralla, Mohsin Hasan Hussein, Saif A. Abd, Hazim Alsaqaa, Kesra Nermend, Anna Borawska
Karbala International Journal of Modern Science
Recently, brain signal patterns have been recruited by researchers in different life activities. Researchers have studied each life activity and how brain signal patterns appear. These patterns could then be generalised and used in different disciplines. In this paper, we study the brain state during decision making in a lottery experiment. An EEG device is used to capture brain signals during an experiment to extract the optimal state for logical decision making. After collecting data, extracting useful information and then processing it, the proposed method is able to identify rational decisions from irrational ones with a success rate of 67%.

A Rule-Based Automatic Data Validation Framework For Enterprise Asset Management In The Power And Utilities Industry, Kennedy O. Oyoo
A Rule-Based Automatic Data Validation Framework For Enterprise Asset Management In The Power And Utilities Industry, Kennedy O. Oyoo
Theses and Dissertations
Every industry has significant data output as a product of its working processes. Power and utilities (P&U) are no exception. Power and utilities organizations generate a lot of data from different business operational systems that provide diverse inputs to a central enterprise asset management (EAM) system tasked with supporting management of physical assets over their life cycles. Physical assets which cover a range of asset types are used in the generation, transmission, and distribution of power. Asset data quality is one area which is often overlooked during the implementation of EAM systems because the focus is primarily on the final …

Nebraska Innovation Campus Materials
The Sensory Analysis Lab, housed within the Food Processing Center on Nebraska Innovation Campus, fills a niche need for low-cost, high-value insights for food product developers and companies. The sensory lab offers companies consumer insights about new products and those that undergo ingredient substitutions. This unique offering helps food companies determine whether their products are ready for market, among many other things. “We’re a good resource for those smaller to medium-sized companies that are wanting quick and fairly inexpensive feedback,” said Julie Reiling, manager of the sensory lab.

Three theories, namely the Swiss cheese model (TSCM), competitive parity (CP), and SWOT analysis, were included in the conceptual framework. The primary concepts under study were garbage in, garbage out, and a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. The study made use of questionnaires and surveys. A total of 67 network engineers completed the …
Evaluating The Impact Of Diversity Training In The Workplace., Vilmarie Lopez
Evaluating The Impact Of Diversity Training In The Workplace., Vilmarie Lopez
Doctoral Dissertations and Projects
Organizations worldwide have gone global and with that, the workforce demographics have shifted to a more diverse population. Scholars project that within 30 years there will not be a “majority” group in the workplace and these demographic dissimilarities will result in withdrawal behaviors such as tardiness, absenteeism, and employee turnover because employees will not feel identify with any group (David et al., 2015). Therefore, organizations are focusing their efforts on designing strategies and implementing training initiatives in order to train the workforce, not just on diversity awareness, but on how to cope with diversity in the workplace and reduce discrimination …

An Analysis Of Whether Privately Owned Financial Planning Practices Are Transitioning To Fully Independent Advice Providers, Darren Pawski, Robert Powell, Anna Golab
Research outputs 2022 to 2026
In Australia, there are over 20,000 financial advisers, with only 1 % registered as independent financial advisers. This study investigates why there has been no significant transition to independent advising. The importance of the study is underlined by the substantial losses suffered by thousands of consumers from advice that has been found to be influenced by conflicts of interest. Using a qualitative technique, the study undertook exploratory semi-structured interviews among financial advisers. The study found that over 90% of privately owned advisers will not be transitioning to independent advising due to the belief that clients will not pay fees for …
