This literature review focuses on the role of the precision agriculture (PA) custom services industry in facilitating farmer adoption of PA technology. Based on the review, a series of stylized facts are developed that characterize the custom services industry's role in the PA adoption process in the United States. The literature suggests that increasing the availability of custom services in local agricultural production markets will positively influence the rate of PA adoption. Retail dealership survey data suggests that the lack of a qualified precision agriculture (PA) workforce limits the ability of the PA service industry to provide technological knowledge and services to producers who have adopted PA technology. The key empirical findings suggest that retail dealerships have the greatest difficulty finding workers who have, a) the capability to operate and collect data using specialized PA technology, b) the capability to interpret and develop management strategies using PA generated data, and c) a basic generalized competency in PA technology and its applications. The basis of my capstone project is to build a website for my record label Play-Yah Records. My major focus for the website is to find more options for monetization for the bands on the label. During the process I conducted research on NFT’s, music licensing, website construction, logo design, and made-to-order merchandise. I am excited about what I have learned in this project and I can’t wait to share it with you.

Women entering science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) occupations increased by 19% between 1970 and 2019, but at 74% of the STEM workforce, men still dominate the field (Martinez & Christnacht, 2021). In the nuclear industry, this disparity is most apparent with few women holding leadership roles within nuclear organizations (Kovaleski, 2014; Gaspar & Dubertrand, 2019). While research suggests that companies with women leaders in the manager level through the board level excel in organizational performance (Catalyst, 2007), a problem exists for women when trying to promote to leadership positions, especially to the C-suite in STEM fields (Warner, 2014).

Supply chain costing presents a sophisticated alternative to traditional costing allowing an accurate cost estimation and effective decision making. In exploring different techniques, TDABC was not explored extensively compared to its peers. In addition to the infancy of the technique, there is an on-going debate about the capability of the TDABC specifically in manufacturing context. The present study contributes to the debate by applying TDABC at the logistics function of a manufacturing site and assesses it capability to measure performance in the stated context.

Because of its highly infectious nature and ability to spread from non-symptomatic people, pandemics can bring society and businesses to a standstill and death to hundreds of thousands of people across the world. Public health experts point to four Ts in successful epidemiological control, namely, test, trace, track, and treat. Since COVID-19 has no effective treatment, contact tracing has been a vital part of COVID-19 disease control and focuses on identifying and isolating people who have come into contact with individuals who have tested positive for the disease. Active Factor Investing: Hedge Funds Versus The Rest Of Us, Jun Duanmu, Yongjia Li, Alexey Malakhov

We examine whether the success of hedge fund market timing strategies can be replicated. We develop a methodology for creating a portfolio of ETFs to capture risk factor exposures of market timing hedge funds identified using extant market timing measures. We find that the top market timing hedge funds outperform their ETF clone peers and the superior performance cannot be replicated. We show that the irreplicable market timing skills are more profound in certain hedge fund styles. Finally, we provide evidence that the success of market timing strategies is driven by non-cloneable hedge funds that possess managerial skills.

Consumer Driven Health Plans (CDHPs) have been identified as a high-deductible insurance option that has increased consumer responsibility while healthcare expenditures have decreased. There has been an increasing need of these plans because they can help to control healthcare costs, and the increasing healthcare utilization. As the use of these plans have expanded, educated consumers have become more engaged in their healthcare services and have increased demands for transparency of healthcare costs. The purpose of this case study is to gain a better understanding of the way in which some Chinese managers describe their leadership approaches and why they accept and use U.S. leadership approaches in a U.S. manufacturing company in China. Within the single-case (embedded) research design, in-depth interviews and existing data are two main methods of the researcher’s data collection. A purposeful sample (N = 8) of managers from the corporation served as participants. After collecting relevant qualitative data, two rounds of coding occurred. The commercial property and casualty insurance industry play an essential role by providing critical strategic benefits to society and fueling the economy through risk transfer. The literature review concludes that the industry faces a looming talent crisis, and although the industry leaders are aware of the problem, there is no apparent strategy to address it. Gemba Walks are a tool to get management involvement in areas where the work is taking place. Gemba Walks allow individuals involved first-hand to voice and reduce waste within the process and general operations. This research measured the benefits and improvements Gemba Walks had on the availability of equipment. For example, reducing the number of events that equipment is down for maintenance and its duration to repair these events, therefore improved availability. My capstone project focused on updating out-of-date proposal documents for my current employer, HP Inc. These proposal documents are delivered to each potential customer that is interested in signing up for our managed print services offering. These documents are a key selling tool for the program benefits but in their current format, they are lacking in up-to-date information and contain spelling and grammatical errors. The capstone focuses on the work completed by the stakeholders that are the most affected by the success of these documents.

This paper explores the importance of multiple factors in the digital marketing of dance organizations. Idaho's only professional ballet company, Ballet Idaho, is used as a case study to determine which marketing strategies are the most beneficial. Cross-referencing tactics from other dance organizations, this research aims to determine how companies can market their more abstract performances, include dancer perspectives in their content, and take advantage of peripheral cities in order to increase their audience-base.
