The Corporate Social Responsibility In Lidl’S Communication Campaigns In Croatia And The Uk, Martina Topic, Ralph Tench
The Qualitative Report
The purpose of the paper was to investigate whether Lidl uses CSR communication in their Advertising and Communication Campaigns in two different business contexts, and if so, how. The paper built upon existing analyses of CSR Communication by analysing Lidl’s websites in both countries, and went step forward and analysed TV adverts of the company in both countries as well. The Role Of Transaction Cost Economics In Information Technology Outsourcing Research: A Meta-Analysis Of The Choice Of Contract Type, Michael Schermann, Konrad Dongus, Philip Yetton, Helmut Krcmar
Information Systems and Analytics
Two recent reviews report that the empirical findings in information technology outsourcing (ITO) research are frequently inconsistent with the prevailing dominant analytical framework of transaction cost economics (TCE). While employing similar methodologies, the two reviews propose different strategies to resolve the inconsistencies. One is to improve the methodological rigor, specifically, the operationalization of TCE constructs. The other is to abandon TCE in favor of a new analytical framework. This paper presents a meta-analysis of the empirical findings on the choice of contract type as a function of task uncertainty. The results support both strategies. Pilot Perceptions On Impact Of Crew Rest Regulations On Safety And Fatigue, Lukas Rudari, Mary E. Johnson, Robert C. Geske, Lauren A. Sperlak
International Journal of Aviation, Aeronautics, and Aerospace
The risk of fatigue on pilot performance and safety is well recognized in aviation. In response to increased safety concerns, the Federal Aviation Administration addressed fatigue risk for passenger airline pilots in Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 117, which included accommodations to address fatigue related risk-factors such as circadian rhythm and the phenomenon commonly described as jet-lag. The rule became effective in January 2014. A survey was conducted in March and April of 2014 to better understand pilot perceptions of the new Part 117 rule. The Jon M. Huntsman School of Business is pleased to announce the creation of an Executive Master of Accounting (EMAcc) program scheduled to begin in June, 2016. This graduate program is a pioneering effort in which both the content and delivery are tailored to aspiring financial executives in need of a graduate degree in accounting. Similar to executive MBA programs, this EMAcc program will build upon participants’ experience in the business world by providing course content tailored to this group of individuals. Congratulations to three Huntsman students who recently received full-time offers as financial analysts in the highly sought after Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs. The Huntsman School of Business placed three students in the Investment Banking Division in the GS Salt Lake City office. The only other school that placed more than one student with GS-SLC was Denver University, with the placement of two students.

The current study explores how methods of handling financial disagreements contribute to, or detracts from, marital satisfaction. In addition, satisfaction with communicating about financial obligations in marriage is predicted to contribute to marital satisfaction.

Samuel Lindquist, a junior in accounting and club hockey player recently began an internship with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) in Washington D.C. He is one of three interns selected from the around the world in the Office of Research and Analysis at the PCAOB. Interns are selected based on a competitive process that includes several interviews. This department supports the PCAOB Inspections and Enforcement Departments in their goal to oversee audits of public companies, protect the interest of investors and further the public interest of informative, accurate and independent audit reports.
