AbstractHigh employee turnover rates adversely affect profitability. Restaurant owners who fail to retain employees are at risk of increased employee turnover costs, reduced profit potential, and risk business failure. Grounded in Herzberg’s two-factor theory, the purpose of this qualitative, single case study was to explore leadership strategies to reduce employee turnover. Participants comprised 6 restaurant leaders based out of the same New York restaurant. Leaders participated in semistructured interviews to provide information on strategies they used to reduce employee turnover. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the data. Perfusion managers who lack strategies to mitigate perfusionist attrition place a strain on their remaining employees and incur replacement costs for their organization. Grounded in Vroom’s expectancy model, the purpose of this multiple case study was to explore strategies perfusion managers use to mitigate perfusionists attrition within open-heart centers in a northeast U.S. city. Data were collected through digital semistructured interviews with 5 licensed perfusionists who demonstrated successful staff retention. Perfusionist job listings were used as a secondary data source. Data were analyzed using Yin’s 5 step process. Plan sponsors of retirement plans face personal financial liability for the risks associated with litigation focusing on their fiduciary responsibility. Probation and parole officers (PPOs) deviate from evidence-based practices implemented to reduce recidivism among adult felony offenders. PPOs fail to adhere to risk-need assessment results during case management, but prior research has not established the reasons for this deviation. This qualitative phenomenological study explored the lived experiences of PPOs implementing the risk needs responsivity (RNR) model by addressing the criminogenic needs of adult felony offenders.
