The objective of this study was to survey IS curriculum in AACSB-accredited Information Systems programs across the United States, to evaluate current adherence to the IS 2010 Curriculum Guidelines, and to assess the number and type of career track developments initiated as a result of less stringent requirements in the new curriculum guidelines. In addition, an analysis was conducted to see if curriculum in AACSB-accredited Information Systems programs across the United States changed significantly since other similar evaluations reported in 1996, and 2006, and whether it is closer in adherence to the IS 2010 curriculum guidelines.

There are several business problems which hampers sustainability of worker cooperatives in Indonesia. They have inadequate capital to support businesses run by cooperatives and the government provides insufficient support for the worker cooperatives. The problem under study is how human resources management affected the capital of worker cooperatives. The study used explanatory approach by employing a census to collect data from 11 existing worker cooperatives in the loading and unloading services in port cities across Java. The purpose of this paper is to examine the strategic orientation in terms of Miles and Snow typologies of the firms in emerging country and investigate their implications on performance. Unlike previous research, this paper focuses the importance of strategy implementation to the performance implications of Miles and Snow typology. Data was collected from 111 key informants from firms in Thailand’s chemical industry using probability sampling. The one-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) results showed that prospectors performed better than the other three strategic types, whereas reactors exhibited the lowest performance scores. Different prediction methods give different performance predictions when used for daily fresh food sales forecasting. Logistic Regression (LR) is a good choice for binary data, the Moving Average (MA) method is good for simple prediction, while the Back-Propagation Neural Network (BPNN) method is good for long term data. In this study we develop and compare the performance of three sales forecasting models, based on the above three prediction methods, for the forecasting of fresh food sales in a point of sales (POS) database for convenience stores. This paper aims to investigate the role and influence of the transportation sector on the national economy of Taiwan by using input-output analysis. Data from the period 1991-2006 is used to analyze the inter-industrial linkage effects in 33 sectors. The results show that the transportation industry in Taiwan has more strength in absorbing the products of related industries rather than being used as an input by other industries; it has a relatively strong capacity for pulling in other industries. To develop efficient pricing and service strategies for air cargo carriers, we formulated air cargo demand as a Multinomial Logit model to reveal forwarders’ preferences toward freightage, flight frequency and service reliability. By applying non-cooperative game approach, we solve the market equilibrium to produce optimal freightage of priority and ordinary cargo for forwarders with various shipping volumes as well as the optimal flight schedules of air cargo carriers. Economic models suggest that firms use a simple cost-benefit calculation to evaluate customer requests for new product features, but an extensive organizational literature shows the decision to implement innovation is more nuanced. We address this theoretical tension by studying how firms respond to customer requests for incremental product innovations, and how these responses change when the requested innovation is complex. Using large sample empirical analyses combined with detailed qualitative data drawn from interviews, we find considerable variance in the relationship between customer demands, complexity, and investments in incremental innovations.
