The price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio is a key financial metric used to assess a firm's value by comparing its stock price to earnings. However, the P/E ratio becomes ineffective for firms with losses (Joos & Plesko, 2005). In such cases, the price-to-sales (P/S) ratio is an alternative valuation metric. However, while the P/S ratio helps compare firms with similar business models, financial leverage can distort the interpretation of the P/S ratio, potentially misleading investors. Grey Swan is a relatively new construct that has not been adequately operationalised in supply chain management research. This work provides a supply chain management explanation and perspective on Grey Swans by distinguishing their characteristics relative to their more inconspicuous kindred, the Black Swans. Digital transformation in Jamaica’s education sector, significantly spurred by the COVID-19 pandemic, represented a seismic shift on this small Caribbean island I call home. This transformation was central to national education reform and involved multiple projects aimed at modernizing educational delivery, infrastructure, and the supporting ecosystem. This study explored the multifaceted implications of these initiatives through qualitative research conducted with ten key stakeholders, complemented by a review of publicly available materials. Problem: A 2024 assessment at a 250‑bed Northern California medical center revealed that 76% of 16 inpatient nurse leaders met "high‑burnout" criteria on the Maslach Burnout Inventory, and leader turnover had climbed to 25%, more than triple national benchmarks, threatening patient care quality, financial stability, and alignment with Magnet® and employee engagement goals.

An important component of leadership success was emotional intelligence (EI), which was defined by self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills. This study examined how emotional intelligence affected project leadership effectiveness and how it might have improved project delivery results. Aircraft maintenance delays create operational inefficiencies, increase costs, and reduce aircraft availability. These delays were often caused by poor planning, weak communication, and inconsistent risk identification. Previous research focused mainly on safety and compliance, with less attention given to how risk management affected project efficiency. This qualitative study looked at how structured risk management strategies could help reduce delays in aircraft maintenance projects. Data was collected through interviews with 12 professionals working in line and hangar maintenance. Each participant had at least five years of experience with risk-related tasks. Patients appreciate the transparency of online reviews, and they offer an avenue for physicians to receive feedback. This cross-sectional study aims to provide insight into correlations between provider level information such as wait times or physician demographics, and the reviews patients submit online for geriatricians.

Objective: Effective communication is crucial in multiple sclerosis (MS) care, influencing patient satisfaction, self-management, and health outcomes. This study explores the experiences of people with MS (PwMS) regarding communication with healthcare providers and between providers within healthcare systems. Methods: This qualitative study analyzed open-ended responses from 590 participants in a national cross-sectional survey. Thematic content analysis was conducted to explore MS patients’ experiences with healthcare communication and care delivery. Results: Three major themes emerged: (1) Patient-provider communication, where 62.9% of participants reported positive experiences, citing responsiveness and empathy, while 37.1% noted issues such as inattentiveness and rushed consultations. Holding space is a person-centered, non-judgmental approach to working with clients. This approach goes beyond listening to client concerns; it entails deep listening and being present, developing trust with clients, and helping them connect goals with values.
