In this thesis, "The Economics of Housing Projects", I have tried to bring together analytical material in relation to representative methods of relief for the crowded and wretched conditions of the working classes. Various systems have been tried in many countries and both England and Germany are far in advance of the United States in this experiment. It was impossible to examine every type of project in this study so I have confined myself to several types in the United States. I have also examined Vienna's experiment in post-war reconstruction since it has been called, by authorities on the subject, …
