The UAE has achieved top global rankings in e-government development over the last two decades. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, several challenges emerged, including a lack of cohesive strategy, inconsistencies in digital practices, ineffective collaboration, a lack of innovative measures, and poor digital talent. Therefore, the current research examines the relationship between e-government interactions (G2G, G2E, and G2C) and organizational readiness for citizen centricity. It also investigates the role of culture in enhancing the relationship. Power Dressing Or Overdressing? The Effect Of Self And Managerial Attire On Employee Perceptions, Conor Kincaid

This study investigates how dress styles influence employees' self-perceptions when they and their managers wear different attire in corporate environments. We surveyed employees across various industries and company sizes, showing them images of individuals in casual, smart casual, business casual, and business formal attire. Based on Peluchette and Karl's (2007) validated instrument, participants rated sixteen self-perception attributes across six dimensions: authoritativeness, competence, productivity, trustworthiness, friendliness, and creativity, with strong reliability coefficients ranging from .82 to .93. Our findings revealed that employees perceive themselves as significantly more authoritative (p = 0.0002) and competent (p = 0.033) when wearing business formal attire, …

The study investigates the ways in which agile practices are combined with traditional risk management frameworks within financial services institutions to achieve digital transformation, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder management. Three research questions drive the study: the ways in which financial institutions are adopting agile practices without undermining compliance, the challenges they face in adopting agile practices, and the mechanisms that enable alignment between agile values and risk governance. Purpose: Leadership has been considered an important part of advancing the profession, but investigations into leadership styles of clinically practicing athletic trainers (ATs) are scant, with none in the secondary school setting. The purpose of this study was to explore the leadership styles of secondary school ATs and to determine if differences in leadership style practices exist across demographic characteristics. The global fresh produce supply chain faces increasing uncertainty due to economic volatility, shifting trade policies, logistical constraints, and evolving consumer demand. In this dissertation, I examine industrial purchasing decision-making grounded in the Industrial Buyer Behavior (IBB) framework. The study explores how supply chain experts navigate uncertainty, mitigate risks, and implement adaptive strategies to maintain efficiency and profitability.

This paper reviews the transformative role of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in Human Resource (HR) management, from a practice perspective, highlighting both opportunities and challenges and laying out a use-inspired future research agenda. Two cognitive approaches are described about how people including global organizational leaders understand, formulate and try to intervene and solve problems. The prevailing, conventional approach is based on analytic thinking, established 400 years ago. A second approach is systemic thinking which is less than 100 years old, and unlikely to be taught, learned or applied. The prevalence of shareholder activism has resulted in the placement of activist-appointed directors onto the boards of firms. Extant research on this phenomenon has taken a rational approach in examining how such directors bring about change but has not accounted for the behavioral implications associated with their placement on boards. Building on theory involving alignment and legitimacy at the team level, this paper adopts a behavioral approach in theorizing how the placement of activist shareholders themselves as directors onto the boards of firms brings about firm change.
