"Ten Little Indians" is a mystery thriller based on Agatha Christie's novel And Then There Were None about ten strangers who are invited to a secluded island under false pretenses. Once they arrive, they are accused of past crimes that went unpunished. Soon, they begin dying one by one in ways that mirror a sinister nursery rhyme. As fear and suspicion grow, the survivors realize the killer must be among them. The play is a tense whodunit that explores guilt, justice, and paranoia.

Aristotelian Catharsis: A Theatrical Essential, Brian Seth Colburn

This project focuses on Catharsis, the Aristotelian function of tragedy, this study asserts that Aristotelian catharsis is one that works simultaneously with the emotions and the intellect to achieve its effect. This paper argues that this system is more effective theatrically than the various other theories. This paper’s intent is to further interpret Aristotle's meaning of “catharsis” and prove its validity in comparison to other views on the function of theatre and/or tragedy. This project is split into sections, the first being its thesis which essentially states “catharsis cannot separate the emotions and the intellect.” The next section covers the …

Set in London, "Murder by the Book" is a lighthearted inventive play filled with twists, dark humor, and playful deception. A thriller writer indulges in vitriolic word duels with his estranged wife until she shoots him. An amateur detective from the next flat attempts to solve the murder before calling the police. More deadly games are in store when the corpse rises and the tables are turned more than once for the victim and the killers.

Playdance is a play in three acts which studies the relationships between parents and their children. The development of the script and the intended production was spurred by the pain that so many families experience as children grow away from their parents control. This look at the Denton household was an attempt to help understand the suffering and the feeling of solitude that so often accompanies this familial trauma.
