Synopsis: This play takes place in a cheap hotel room. May, Eddie and the Old Man are the main characters. The old man, however, is a figment of May and Eddie's imaginations. May can't decide if she wants Eddie to stay or go. Eddie has had affairs and she is deciding whether she should leave him. She gets dressed up to go on a date with Martin. At the end of the play, May leaves with her suitcase packed.

This project is a production notebook of Oleanna which was performed in the Studio Theatre of the Ruth B. Shannon Center for the Performing Arts between December 5, 1996 and December 7, 1996. This project is split into 8 sections including script analysis, the design concept, the casting process, the rehearsal process, communications, the final production, production elements, and works consulted. Within the rehearsal process is included a rehearsal schedule and notes from run throughs while in the communications section resides emails and letters with various correspondents throughout the project, some of which discuss the decision to recast.
