Arab artists had an important place in the 2022 edition of the Festival d’Avignon in France. This edition was the last one directed by Olivier Py, whose mandate was marked by the regular programming of artists from the Maghreb, the Middle East, and the Near East. This article analyzes the different performances directed by Arab artists on the stages of Avignon in 2022, with a particular focus on issues of representation (especially female figures on stage) and production.

In it, Mihai courageously brings together insights from critical theory, political and legal science, philosophy, literary studies, and feminist theory to argue for the need of rearticulating how we remember complicity and resistance in the aftermath of political violence. This thesis surveys the phenomena of Shakespeare performance on Zoom (‘Shakespeare on Zoom’) that have emerged during the current Covid pandemic in order to illuminate a complex intersection of lockdown culture, fandom, and new media’s techno-social archive, including its affective resonances. As case studies, this study pays attention to The Show Must Go Online (TSMGO) and Zoom Shakespeare Productions (ZSP) to examine countercultural fandom, vernacular creativity, and technologically imperfect aesthetics (or anti-aesthetics) in ‘Shakespeare on Zoom’ performed by underfunded artists or amateur fans. Much of the critical discourse on social media misidentifies its problematic features as bugs, or problems to solve. Supposed solutions to these problems tend to focus on individual actions. We should delete the apps, own our own data, never click on recommended videos, and realize that we are the product. But if predatory algorithms succeed by individuating people—selling people “choice” and “options” as it harvests user data—then an entire online ecosystem arranged through the logic of that design can neither be meaningfully challenged nor effectively understood at the level of the individual alone. Exploring the development of algorithms in Lacanian theory, specifically the "R schema" in the 1950s, I argue that psychoanalysis, read through contemporary debates about the "algorithmic cult" of Netflix and other avatars of popular culture, can be said to reveal the inhuman, machinic essence of subjectivity. I place the 2015-released film Suffragette within a context of the efforts Elizabeth Robins made to document and, by witnessing, to advocate, the early phases of the British Women’s Suffrage Movement in England. Robins wrote and participated across margins. An expatriate American living in England, she had no personal advantage to gain with a franchise. In her late forties and in ill health, she took perhaps only "safe" opportunities to thrust herself into the fray. งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาและสังเคราะห์กระบวนการฝึกฝนการใช้จินตนาการในการแสดงที่จะสามารถนำไปพัฒนาและสร้างตัวละคร เอ็มม่า ในละครเพลงเรื่อง เทล มี ออน อะ ซันเดย์ (Tell Me on a Sunday) อีกทั้งเพื่อฝึกฝนและพัฒนาทักษะการร้องเพลงเพื่อนำเสนอตัวละคร เอ็มม่า ผ่านบทละครเพลงดังกล่าว โดยผู้วิจัยได้ศึกษาทฤษฎีการแสดง และฝึกซ้อมการแสดงควบคู่กับการฝึกฝนแบบฝึกหัดทางด้านการแสดงเพื่อนำไปพัฒนาและสร้างตัวละคร เอ็มม่า ซึ่งความท้าทายของละครเพลงข้างต้นคือ จะมีเพียง 1 ตัวละคร ที่นำเสนอเรื่องราวบนเวที โดยมีการพูดคุยกับตัวละครอื่นที่ไม่ปรากฏบนเวที ดังนั้นนักแสดงจึงต้องใช้จินตนาการในการแสดงอย่างมากเพื่อทำให้ผู้ชมเกิดความรู้สึกร่วม และเข้าใจว่ากำลังเกิดอะไรขึ้น วิธีการหลักที่ถูกใช้ในการพัฒนาและสร้างตัวละครในงานวิจัยนี้คือมนต์สมมติ (Magic If) โดยคอนสแตนติน สตานิสลาฟสกี (Constantin Stanislavski) ควบคู่ไปกับทฤษฎีการแสดงเกี่ยวกับการใช้จินตนาการ (Imagination) ของ สเตลลา แอดเลอร์ (Stella Adler) ผู้วิจัยได้เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยการจดบันทึก การบันทึกวิดีโอการฝึกซ้อมและการแสดง ซึ่งมีการประเมินผลหลังจากนำเสนอผลงานการแสดงแล้วโดยการเก็บรวบรวมแบบสอบถามจากผู้ชมทั้งหมด 50 ชุด การประเมินการแสดงจากอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาในรอบก่อนการแสดงจริง และมีการวิเคราะห์จากการพูดคุยจากการเสวนากับผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิหลังจบการแสดง กระบวนที่สังเคราะห์ได้คือการฝึกฝนตามลำดับดังนี้ Magic If, Given Circumstances, Super Objective และการใช้แบบฝึกหัดเข้ามาช่วยพัฒนาระหว่างการฝึกซ้อม ซึ่งผลจากการฝึกฝนตามกระบวนการที่ได้มาทำให้ผู้วิจัยสามารถทำให้ผู้ชมเชื่อในสถานการณ์ของตัวละครได้ ผู้ชมเกิดความรู้สึกร่วมไปกับเหตุการณ์ที่ตัวละครกำลังประสบอยู่ และเห็นพัฒนาการของการเปลี่ยนแปลงของตัวละครเอ็มม่า ในส่วนของผลของการฝึกฝนการร้องเพลงคือผู้วิจัยเกิดความมั่นใจในการร้องเพลงเพื่อที่จะสื่อสารเรื่องราวของตัวละครสู่ผู้ชมมากขึ้น และผู้วิจัยไม่เกิดความกังวลขณะที่กำลังแสดงอยู่เนื่องจากการฝึกฝนอย่างสม่ำเสมอก่อนการแสดงจริง

วิทยานิพนธ์เล่มนี้ที่มีเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับกระบวนการสอนการแสดงสำหรับนักร้องเพลงลูกกรุง โดยใช้หลักการและแบบฝึกหัดลี สตราสเบิร์กและแซนฟอร์ด ไมส์เนอร์มาปรับใช้สำหรับการสอน โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์คือเพื่อค้นหาแนวทางการสอนการแสดงและแบบฝึกหัดทางการแสดงที่เหมาะสมในการถ่ายทอดความรู้สึกผ่านบทเพลงสำหรับนักร้อง และเพื่อให้ผู้วิจัยได้ศึกษากระบวนการสอนการแสดงสำหรับนักร้องอย่างลึกซึ้ง ซึ่งในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ผู้วิจัยได้ดำเนินการในฐานะครูสอนการแสดง และได้เลือกศึกษากับผู้เข้ารับวิจัยจำนวน 5 คน โดยมีคุณสมบัติดังต่อไปนี้ 1) เป็นบุคคลกลุ่มเพศใดก็ได้ 2) เป็นผู้ที่มีอายุ 18 ปีขึ้นไป 3) เป็นผู้ที่มีพื้นฐานการร้องเพลงอยู่แล้ว 4) เป็นผู้ที่ต้องการพัฒนาศักยภาพของตนเองในด้านถ่ายทอดความรู้สึกผ่านบทเพลง ผู้วิจัยได้ออกแบบแผนการสอนที่เน้นใช้แบบฝึกหัดของลี สตราสเบิร์ก และแซนฟอร์ด ไมส์เนอร์ให้ผู้เข้ารับวิจัยได้ฝึกไว้เป็นหลัก ซึ่งมีระยะเวลาการสอนทั้งหมดจำนวน 12 ครั้ง ครั้งละ 3 ชั่วโมง และเมื่อผู้เข้ารับวิจัยเรียนครบตลอดแผนการสอนแล้วจึงได้จัดคอนเสิร์ตประกอบวิทยานิพนธ์เพื่อแสดงต่อหน้าผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิเพื่อนำข้อเสนอแนะรวมถึงแบบสอบถามจากผู้ชมมาประเมินผล ผลการวิจัยพบว่าแบบฝึกหัดและหลักการของทั้งลี สตราสเบิร์กและแซนฟอร์ด ไมส์เนอร์ ที่ผู้วิจัยนำสอนสามารถใช้พัฒนาผู้เข้ารับวิจัยได้เป็นอย่างดี ซึ่งผู้วิจัยค้นพบว่าหลักการของลีสตราสเบิร์กในเรื่องของการสร้างความจริงจากภายในโดยใช้จิตนาการแห่งการรื้อฟื้นความทรงจำในอดีตนั้น สามารถทำให้ผู้เข้ารับการวิจัยสามารถถ่ายทอดและสื่อสารความรู้สึกออกมาได้อย่างจริงใจได้จริง รวมถึงแบบฝึกหัดการพูดซ้ำ (Repetition) ในหลักการของแซนฟอร์ด ไมส์เนอร์ที่เน้นให้ผู้เข้ารับวิจัยอยู่กับมีสติปัจจุบันขณะแม้อยู่ภายใต้สถานการณ์สมมตินั้นก็สามารถทำให้ผู้เข้ารับวิจัยอยู่กับปัจจุบันขณะ (Moment) ได้เป็นอย่างดี แต่ทั้งนี้ฝึกฝนอย่างสม่ำเสมอเพื่อรักษาเสถียรภาพการอยู่กับปัจจุบันขณะให้มั่นคงจนสามารถนำสามารถมาใช้ได้เป็นเองโดยอัตโนมัติ การทำวิจัยครั้งนี้ทำให้ผู้วิจัยค้นพบการที่จะช่วยให้ผู้เรียนพัฒนาได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพสูงสุดนั้นแบบฝึกหัดอย่างเดียวอาจจะไม่พอ จะต้องขึ้นอยู่กับความตั้งใจของผู้เรียนเองเพราะพลังแห่งความตั้งใจนี้จะส่งผลให้ผู้เรียนไม่ทำอะไรอย่างครึ่งๆ กลางๆ และสามารถพัฒนาตนเองได้อย่างก้าวกระโดด อีกประการหนึ่งคือทักษะด้านการร้องเพลงของผู้เรียนเอง ผู้เรียนควรมีทักษะการร้องที่ดีอยู่แล้วจึงจะต่อยอดทักษะทางด้านนี้ต่อไปได้ เพราะหากยังพะวงเกี่ยวกับการร้องเพลงของตนเองอยู่ จะส่งผลทำให้เกิดภาวะที่เรียกว่าสมาธิผิดที่ได้โดยง่าย นอกจากนี้ครูผู้สอนจำเป็นจะต้องมีความรู้ทางด้านการแสดงที่แม่นยำเพื่อที่จะได้ฝึกผู้เรียนได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพอันนำไปสู่การพัฒนาอย่างสูงสุด

Though critiqued, Strauss and Howe’s generational theory suggests that American history occurs in cycles characterized by four distinct generational turnings or moods that occur approximately every eighty years, roughly the span of a human life. งานวิจัยนี้ได้ดำเนินการในสามส่วนหลัก ๆ ได้แก่ การวิเคราะห์กิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ในการผลิตภาพยนตร์ในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ในฐานะระบบนิเวศทางวัฒนธรรม โดยการวิเคราะห์อุตสาหกรรมภาพยนตร์และโครงสร้างพื้นฐานของจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ในฐานะระบบวัฒนธรรมที่พึ่งพาอาศัยกันของผู้คนที่เชื่อมโยงกับองค์กร สถาบัน ธุรกิจ ระบบเทคโนโลยี และปฏิบัติการเชิงสร้างสรรค์ในการผลิตภาพยนตร์ดิจิทัล ส่วนต่อมา คือ การรวบรวมข้อมูลและประเมินทรรศนะของกลุ่มผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสียในระบบนิเวศทางวัฒนธรรมเกี่ยวกับสภาพการณ์ปัจจุบัน ปัญหาสำคัญ และความต้องการในอนาคต เพื่อรักษาและเสริมสร้างระบบในงานด้านภาพยนตร์ดิจิทัลของจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ และส่วนสุดท้าย คือ การออกแบบแผนยุทธศาสตร์เพื่อพัฒนาและปรับปรุงระบบนิเวศของอุตสาหกรรมภาพยนตร์ดิจิทัลของจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ตามวิถีของความยั่งยืน แผนยุทธศาสตร์ดังกล่าวนี้ได้ระบุถึงโอกาสสำหรับจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ในการพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐานและทรัพยากรบุคคลในอุตสาหกรรมภาพยนตร์ดิจิทัลผ่านการดำเนินการสองระยะ ได้แก่ ระยะแรกเป็นการมุ่งเน้นและเสริมจุดแข็งเพื่อการเป็น “เมืองที่เป็นมิตรกับภาพยนตร์” ผ่านการจัดงานและกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ และระยะหลังเป็นการพัฒนาคุณลักษณะเฉพาะของระบบนิเวศในงานด้านภาพยนตร์ดิจิทัลของจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ไปสู่ความเป็นเมืองภาพยนตร์ที่ยั่งยืนผ่านโครงการและแผนงานที่มีขนาดใหญ่ขึ้นผู้วิจัยได้ใช้วิธีดำเนินการวิจัยแบบผสานวิธี คือใช้ทั้งการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณและการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ด้วยการสำรวจความคิดเห็นจากประชาชนในท้องถิ่น การสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก การสังเกตการณ์แบบมีส่วนร่วม ตลอดจนการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลจากหนังสือ วารสาร เอกสาร และงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องผลการศึกษาพบว่า คุณลักษณะเฉพาะของระบบนิเวศของจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ที่ส่งผลต่อการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมภาพยนตร์ดิจิทัล และนับเป็นจุดแข็งที่ชัดเจน ได้แก่ ทรัพยากรบุคคลที่มีความรู้และความคิดสร้างสรรค์ โดยเฉพาะบุคลากรที่มีมากขึ้นในอุตสาหกรรมนี้ ทั้งในเชิงปริมาณและคุณภาพ และรองลงมาคือสภาพการณ์ปัจจุบันของพื้นที่ซึ่งมีความโดดเด่นและเป็นเอกลักษณ์ไม่เหมือนจังหวัดอื่น ๆ ทั้งด้านคุณภาพชีวิต โครงสร้างพื้นฐานทางเทคโนโลยีที่ทันสมัย ความพร้อมในธุรกิจภาพยนตร์ดิจิทัล สถานที่ถ่ายทำที่หลากหลาย และเครือข่ายระดับนานาชาติ อีกทั้งประชาชนในท้องถิ่นยังมีความต้องการให้มุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาคนรวมถึงการสร้างเสริมโอกาสงานเป็นอันดับแรก เพื่อให้คนเป็นกำลังสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาในมิติอื่น ๆ ต่อไปส่วนประเด็นสำคัญในการสร้างแผนยุทธศาสตร์นี้มี 3 ประเด็นหลัก ได้แก่ 1) การกำหนดแนวทางแผนปฏิบัติการเร่งรัดสำหรับการจัดกิจกรรมทางภาพยนตร์ในพื้นที่เพื่อสร้างความตื่นตัวและการมีส่วนร่วมภาคประชาชนให้แก่ผู้คนในท้องถิ่นตามวิถีนิเวศวัฒนธรรม 2) การจัดตั้งหน่วยงานเฉพาะ องค์กร หรือเครือข่ายขึ้นเพื่อดูแลรับผิดชอบงานด้านภาพยนตร์ในพื้นที่ ตลอดจนการอัปเดตข้อมูลข่าวสารและกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง 3) ความสอดคล้องกับแผนพัฒนาจังหวัดและเชื่อมต่อกับนโยบายภาครัฐที่เกี่ยวข้อง โดยอาศัยโอกาสในการพัฒนาทรัพยากรบุคคลและโครงสร้างพื้นฐานของพื้นที่จากอุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยวและอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์ ซึ่งสามารถช่วยสร้างเสริมอัตลักษณ์ของจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ให้มีเสน่ห์และความโดดเด่นยิ่งขึ้นในฐานะ “เมืองที่เป็นมิตรกับภาพยนตร์” ด้วยระบบนิเวศทางวัฒนธรรมที่สร้างสรรค์สำหรับงานด้านภาพยนตร์ดิจิทัลดังนั้น ผู้วิจัยจึงได้กำหนดประเด็นพัฒนาในแผนยุทธศาสตร์การพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมภาพยนตร์ดิจิทัลจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ตามวิถีนิเวศวัฒนธรรมไว้ 4 ด้านด้วยกัน ได้แก่ ด้านศักยภาพของคน ศักยภาพของพื้นที่ การจัดการ และการมีส่วนร่วม โดยมีเป้าหมายในระยะสั้นไปสู่การเป็นเมืองที่เป็นมิตรกับภาพยนตร์ และปูทางไปสู่เป้าหมายระยะยาวในการเป็นเมืองภาพยนตร์ที่ยั่งยืนต่อไป

By analyzing the style and form of his work, one learns a great deal about devotional liturgies that commemorate goddess Padmāvatī’s protection of the Jina Pārśvanātha and, in turn, his protection of her.

Women’S Voices From History: Gond Rani Durgawati And Rani Lakshmibhai, Nandini Sengupta, Moupia Basu

Two strong women are compared and contrasted in this article. Gond Rani Durgawati (1524-1564) led a resistance movement in Jabalpur against the Mughal rule of Akbar. Rani Lakshmibai (1828-1858) organized the people of Jhansi against Sir Hugh Rose, an officer defending the interests of the British East India Company. Both women continue to be remembered for their bravery and their loyalty to the people they ruled.

Mai Bhago (1670-1720), also known as Bhag Kaur, distinguished herself on the battlefield to defend the Sikh faith. Amrita Devi Bishnoi (d. 1730) is said to have sacrificed her life with 362 others to protect the Khejari trees in the Rajasthan desert. Both women continue to inspire social justice and ecological activism.

Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948) sought to alleviate poverty and empower women. His commitment to nonviolence and the economic ideal of “small is beautiful” continue to inspire grassroots movements around the globe. This article discusses the Chipko movement of northern India, the protection of rain forests in Kerala’s Silent Valley, the Self Employed Women’s Association (SEWA), and Medha Patkar’s valiant though ultimately futile attempt to save the Narmada River from a massive government damming project. The ongoing legacy of these movements can be found in AWAG, the Ahmedabad Women’s Action Group and Women’s Shanti Sena (Peace Force).

Indigenous Stitch-Arts Of India: Tradition And Revival In A Global Age, Punam Madhok

Stitch art allows for the creative expression and economic support of countless women throughout India. This article examines four notable styles: chikankari, flora and fauna stitched in white thread on fine white cotton, rabari, the stitching of mirrors into colorful cloth, phulkari, resplendent flowery motifs sewn into shawls in Punjab, and kantha, Bengali patch work yielding quilts and seating mats. In addition to describing each technique, this article discusses how women have been economically empowered through this art by such organizations as Self-Help Enterprise (SHE) in Kolkata and Adithi, a women’s cooperative, in Bihar.

งานวิจัยนี้ใช้ระเบียบวิจัยเชิงสร้างสรรค์เน้นการค้นคว้าปฏิบัติการทางศิลปะ​ ผ่านการทำละครแบบร่วมสร้างที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ “ภาวะเงือก” ​หรือ​ภาวะครึ่ง ๆ ​กลาง ๆ ของร่างกาย​เงือก งานวิจัยจึงได้ศึกษาตัวละครเงือก​ซึ่งเป็นตัวละครครึ่งคนครึ่งปลาในวรรณกรรมหลายเรื่องและสื่อต่างรูปแบบ​ จากนั้นตีความและเทียบเคียง กับสภาวะทางจิตใจของผู้ใหญ่วัยเริ่ม ที่ขาดความมั่นใจและการเห็นคุณค่าในตนเอง เพราะเติบโตในสังคมที่มีค่านิยมที่แตกต่าง จากสิ่งที่เป็นทั้งในชาติพันธุ์​ เพศสภาพ และวิถีชีวิตจากความเข้าใจเบื้องต้นผู้วิจัยได้คัดเลือกผู้มีส่วนร่วมในกระบวนการละคร​ 3 คน เพื่อพัฒนาละครร่วมสร้าง​เรื่อง “ภาวะเงือก” ขึ้นจากการรวบรวมผู้วิจัยเรียนรู้ว่าตัวละครเงือก​เป็นตัวอย่างของการเปิดโอกาสให้ตนเองได้ทำตามความปรารถนาหรือความฝัน ผู้วิจัยคาดหวังว่าการสร้างสรรค์และนำเสนอละครเวทีเรื่อง“ภาวะเงือก” จะทำให้ผู้วิจัยและผู้มีส่วนร่วมในละครร่วมสร้างที่สนใจในตัวละครเงือก​และสภาวะครึ่ง ๆ กลาง ๆ ของตัวละคร​ ได้พัฒนาความมั่นใจและเห็นคุณค่าในตนเองได้ ทั้งในด้านศักยภาพการแสดง และการใช้ชีวิตงานวิจัยเชิงสร้างสรรค์นี้เป็นการค้นคว้าเชิงปฏิบัติการ ด้วยกระบวนการฝึกซ้อมละครร่วมสร้าง โดยผู้วิจัยร่วมสร้างผลงานในฐานะกระบวนกร และผู้มีส่วนร่วมในฐานะนักแสดง ผลการวิจัยพบว่า​ การได้พัฒนาละครในพื้นที่สร้างสรรค์​ ช่วยให้ผู้วิจัยและผู้มีส่วนร่วม​ รวมถึงทีมงานเบื้องหลัง เกิดความความมั่นใจและเห็นคุณค่าในตนเอง จากการที่ได้แลกเปลี่ยนความรู้สึกนึกคิด​ แบ่งปันประสบการณ์​​ ร่วมแสดงผลงาน​ และร่วมสะท้อนทัศนะ ในระหว่างกระบวนการสร้างสรรค์ละครร่วมสร้างกระบวนการพัฒนาละครร่วมสร้างในครั้งนี้ มุ่งเน้นที่การเคารพความแตกต่าง การแสดงความคิดเห็น ทัศนคติ และประสบการณ์ของผู้มีส่วนร่วม สนับสนุนการร่วมแรงร่วมใจในการพัฒนาผลงานการแสดงให้เกิดขึ้น เพื่อบรรลุเป้าหมายที่ตั้งไว้ร่วมกันได้ ผู้วิจัยและผู้มีส่วนร่วมจึง สามารถสร้างความมั่นใจและเห็นคุณค่าในตนเองได้จากการร่วมงานกันในครั้งนี้ กระบวนการละครร่วมสร้างนี้สามารถประยุกต์ใช้กับประเด็นที่น่าสนใจอื่น ๆ รวมถึงประเด็นทางสังคมต่าง ๆ เพื่อพัฒนาให้เกิดการเรียนรู้ที่ดีในอนาคตต่อไป

งานวิจัยเน้นปฏิบัติการสร้างการแสดงลำหมู่ในรูปแบบร่วมสมัย ซึ่งลำหมู่เป็นการแสดงหมอลำประเภทหนึ่งในภาคอีสานของประเทศไทย และในประชาชนลาว เป็นมหรสพประชานิยม หรือหมอลำกระแสหลัก ที่มุ่งนำเสนอความยิ่งใหญ่อลังการของเวที ฉาก แสง สี เสียง และโชว์ต่าง ๆ ที่มีความทันสมัย ในขณะที่ การแสดงลำหมู่แบบดั้งเดิมมีแนวโน้มที่ผู้ชมจะให้ความสนใจลดน้อยลง เพราะการฟังเรื่องราว ไม่เป็นที่นิยมเหมือนในอดีต ผู้วิจัยเห็นว่า แก่นสำคัญของการแสดงลำหมู่ คือ เรื่องราว กลอนลำ การลำ และการแสดง เป็นคุณค่าหลักของการแสดงประเภทนี้ จึงสนใจที่จะหากลวิธีสร้างการแสดงลำหมู่ร่วมสมัย ที่สามารถสื่อสารความคิดทั้งด้านคติธรรม และวิถีชีวิตจากวรรณกรรมอีสานเรื่อง ผาแดง-นางไอ่ รวมถึง รูปแบบการนำเสนอที่เหมาะสมกับผู้ชมอีสานรุ่นใหม่ โดยใช้แนวทางของละครดีไวซ์ เป็นเครื่องมือทำงานแบบร่วมสร้างกับศิลปินมือสมัครเล่นที่มีประสบการณ์เกี่ยวกับหมอลำ และใช้องค์ประกอบของการแสดงลำหมู่ผสานกับศิลปะการละครตะวันตกสมัยใหม่ ผ่านกระบวนการวิจัยปฏิบัติการ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า วิจัยในลักษณะ ‘ปฏิบัติ-นำ-วิจัย’ และการบูรณาการศาสตร์ภายใต้แนวทางละครดีไวซ์ นำไปสู่กระบวนการทดลองสร้าง และลงมือค้นหาวิธีสร้างการแสดงที่มุ่งตอบโจทย์วิจัยเป็นหลัก จนเกิดเป็นการแสดงลำหมู่ร่วมสมัยแนวทางใหม่ 2 รูปแบบ ได้แก่ 1. หมอลำอินเธียเตอร์ และ 2. หมอลำลูกผสม โดยทั้งสองรูปแบบให้ความสำคัญกับแก่นของการแสดงลำหมู่ ซึ่งมีวิธีการเล่าเรื่อง และรูปแบบ การนำเสนอที่เน้นการสื่อสารความคิดจากเรื่องเดิมไปยังผู้ชม กลอนลำที่สื่อสารเรื่องราว และการกระทำตัวละคร การลำที่สัมพันธ์ความรู้สึกภายในของผู้แสดง การแสดง (acting) ที่มุ่งเสนอความสมจริง และเป็นธรรมชาติ รวมถึง การใช้ลีลาร่วมสมัยที่เน้นสื่อสารเรื่องราวแทนการเต้น และภาพอลังการของมหรสพประชานิยม ผ่านกระบวนการทำงานที่ใช้หลักการกำกับการแสดงในการตีความเรื่อง โดยเชื่อมโยงกับ แก่นความคิด และสื่อสารผ่านองค์ประกอบต่าง ๆ บนเวที การแสดงทั้ง 2 รูปแบบ สามารถเข้าถึง กลุ่มผู้ชมกลุ่มเป้าหมายที่เป็นนักศึกษา และคนอีสานรุ่นใหม่ ตลอดจนเป็นการสร้างพื้นที่การแสดงหมอลำแนวใหม่ เพื่อขยายมิติของศิลปะการแสดงหมอลำให้มีความหลากหลาย และเป็นทางเลือกใหม่ของผู้ชม ที่สนใจศิลปะการแสดงหมอลำ

การสร้างสรรค์ละครร่วมสมัยจากบทคำพรัดโนรา, สายฝน ไฝเส้ง

งานวิจัยนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายในการศึกษา เพื่อวิเคราะห์และสังเคราะห์บทร้องคำพรัดโนรา ถอดองค์ความรู้และหาแก่นสาระหลักคำสอนอันเป็นหลักปฏิบัติที่โนรายึดถือในการดำเนินชีวิต และออกแบบและสร้างสรรค์ละครร่วมสมัยเพื่อสื่อสารหลักคำสอนที่แฝงฝังอยู่ในวิถีของโนรา อันมีความโดดเด่นในเรื่องการให้คติสอนใจ คุณธรรมจริยธรรม หลักการใช้ชีวิตตามแบบฉบับของโนรา ใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงสร้างสรรค์ทางศิลปะการแสดงที่เน้นการลงมือปฏิบัติ (Practice as Research) ด้วยกระบวนการละครแบบร่วมสร้างเป็นส่วนสำคัญ โดยเก็บข้อมูลจากผู้มีส่วนร่วมซึ่งเป็นนิสิตสาขาวิชาศิลปะการแสดง มีกระบวนการสร้างงานแบ่งออกเป็น 5 ระยะ คือ การพัฒนาประเด็น พัฒนาเรื่อง/บท พัฒนาการแสดง และนำเสนอผลงาน เพื่อนำเสนอแก่นสาระหลักของเรื่องคือ ความกตัญญู นำเสนอในรูปแบบละครลูกผสม (Hybrid Performance) ขนาดสั้นจำนวน 3 เรื่อง คือ บ้าน ครู และธรรมชาติ ใช้โครงสร้างการเล่นคำพรัดโนราแบบวิถีเดิมผสมผสานกับการเล่าเรื่องในวิถีใหม่ มาถ่ายทอดในมุมมองของความเป็นปัจจุบัน ผ่านประสบการณ์ ภูมิรู้ และทักษะของนักแสดง ด้วยการตีความใหม่ที่มีความลึกซึ้ง สร้างวิถีคิดใหม่ ที่มีความสัมพันธ์กันระหว่างนักแสดงกับผู้ชม ในลักษณะของละครเล่าเรื่องผสมผสานการรำ การร้อง แบบโนรา ใช้องค์ประกอบของดนตรีเพื่อเชื่อมการเปลี่ยนเรื่อง มีกลุ่มผู้ชมเป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย ในจังหวัดสงขลา ทำหน้าที่เป็นผู้ประเมินด้วยการสนทนากลุ่ม จากการศึกษาพบว่า เนื้อหาและรูปแบบของการแสดงมีความสอดคล้องและสัมพันธ์กับบริบทในปัจจุบัน ทำให้ผู้ชมเกิดการเรียนรู้เรื่องราวของโนราที่มาจากบทคำพรัดได้ง่ายขึ้น ด้วยวิธีการเล่าที่สั้นและกระชับ ผสมผสานกับการนำองค์ประกอบของการแสดงโนรา ทั้งท่ารำ การร้องบท และดนตรี ทำให้ชวนติดตาม และในขณะเดียวกันละครก็สามารถสื่อสารแก่นเรื่องความกตัญญูได้ถึงแม้จะถูกนำเสนอผ่านการสร้างความหมายใหม่ก็ตาม นอกจากนี้ การนำบทคำพรัดมาวิเคราะห์ สังเคราะห์อีกครั้งเป็นกระบวนการหนึ่งที่จะยังทำให้บทคำพรัดยังมีการใช้-ดำรงอยู่ ทำซ้ำและขยายความเข้าใจในวงกว้าง เกิดการตีความ เรียนรู้ความหมายที่แท้จริงที่ซ่อนอยู่

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษากลวิธีการเขียนบทละครหญิงรักหญิงและศึกษาการสร้างสรรค์บทละครประเภทกอธิก (gothic) ที่นำเสนอประเด็นอคติทางเพศที่มีต่อหญิงรักหญิง ผู้วิจัยใช้แนวคิดองค์ประกอบวรรณกรรมกอธิกของ โรเบิร์ต แฮร์ริส (Robert Harris) เป็นแนวคิดหลักในการสร้างสรรค์บทละคร เนื่องจากผู้วิจัยต้องการนำเสนอประเด็นอคติทางเพศผ่านสัญญะความเป็น ‘ผี’ และ ‘การหลอกหลอน’ โดยกระบวนการเขียนบทละครนั้นผู้วิจัยตั้งต้นจากการศึกษาและวิเคราะห์ปัญหาอคติทางเพศที่หญิงรักหญิงประสบในชีวิตประจำวันทั้งอดีตและปัจจุบันในการกำหนดแก่นเรื่อง (theme) จากนั้นผู้วิจัยจึงสร้างบทละครเรื่อง ใครในบ้าน โดยแบ่งตัวเรื่องออกเป็นสองเส้นเรื่อง เส้นเรื่องหลักนำเสนอความรักของหญิงรักหญิงในปัจจุบัน ส่วนเส้นเรื่องรองนำเสนอเรื่องราวความรักของหญิงรักหญิงในอดีตที่กลายเป็นโศกนาฎกรรม ซึ่งผู้วิจัยใช้วิธีการเชื่อมสองเส้นเรื่องนี้ด้วยสิ่งของสำคัญที่ปรากฎในอดีตและยังคงอยู่มาจนปัจจุบันเพื่อแสดงให้เห็นว่าปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้นในอดีตนั้นยังคงมีอยู่ แม้ว่าในปัจจุบันปัญหาที่หญิงรักหญิงประสบจะไม่ร้ายแรงเท่าในอดีตแต่อคติที่เกิดขึ้นในอดีตนั้นยังไม่หายไปและยังสร้างความหวาดกลัวให้กับผู้ที่เป็นหญิงรักหญิงอยู่ บทละครเรื่องนี้ได้ถูกนำไปจัดแสดงและเก็บข้อมูลผู้ชมผ่านแบบสอบถาม ผลการศึกษาพบว่า บทละครสามารถสื่อสารประเด็นความรักของหญิงรักหญิงและอคติทางเพศกับผู้ชมได้ แต่สัญญะความเป็น ‘ผี’ ที่ผู้วิจัยต้องการสื่อสารถึงอคติทางเพศนั้นยังไม่สามารถสื่อถึงผู้ชมได้อย่างชัดเจน อันเนื่องมาจากกลวิธีในการสื่อสารบทสนทนาต่าง ๆ ผ่านตัวละครนั้น ผู้วิจัยยังนำเสนอด้วยน้ำเสียงที่ประนีประนอมเกินไป ตัวละครเอกของเรื่องควรเจอสภาวะเจ็บปวดมากกว่านี้เพื่อสื่อเรื่องของอคติทางเพศซึ่งเป็นเรื่องที่จริงจังและเจ็บปวดของหญิงรักหญิง และองค์ประกอบศิลป์เป็นสิ่งที่สำคัญอย่างมากในการช่วยนำเสนอความเป็นกอธิกและช่วยให้ประเด็นที่ต้องการนำเสนอชัดเจนขึ้น
