In this project, students were asked to produce 10-by-16-inch digital posters responding to the challenge and stress of the COVID-19 pandemic. COVID-19 Graphic Design: Data Visualization and Information Design
This is a handwritten letter from Misty Thomas-Trout to her Graphic Design I (VAD 411) students in March, sent the day before classes resumed following spring break. Initially, virtual education was a precaution, set to last for two weeks; however, it extended for the remainder of the term and the summer term. By the time the fall semester began in late August 2020, more than 5 million cases had been reported in the United States.
Following the handwritten letter is a typed version. The indents of the paragraphs reflect the way the letter appeared on paper.
