“Pristine Truth” Ecopsychology: The Natureness Remedy
“Pristine Truth” Ecopsychology: The Natureness Remedy
The International Journal of Ecopsychology (IJE)
As was best seller predicted by ecological science experts in 1949, (2a) most educated people today recognize that in personal, social and environmentally hurtful ways our senselessly abused lives increasingly are breaking our world. Although no core cause or remedy for this catastrophe is known, this “Natureness” article makes both available. Sadly, by continually omitting its special “Pristine Truth,” all the knowledge in the world can’t stop modern humanity’s suicidal mismanagement of Nature’s life as it flows around and through us. (2) Instead, our present-day conquer-Nature worldview teaches us to excessively disconnect from, exploit and illegally war against Nature’s flow …

The Use Of Artificial Intelligence (Ai) In Qualitative Research For Theory Development, Prokopis Christou Phd
The Qualitative Report
Theory development is an important component of academic research since it can lead to the acquisition of new knowledge, the development of a field of study, and the formation of theoretical foundations to explain various phenomena. The contribution of qualitative researchers to theory development and advancement remains significant and highly valued, especially in an era of various epochal shifts and technological innovation in the form of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Even so, the academic community has not yet fully explored the dynamics of AI in research and there are significant gaps in our understanding of how AI can be used most …
Moral Considerations In Political Decision-Making: Differences By Political Orientation And Gender, Christina M. Frederick, Shawn Doherty
Moral Considerations In Political Decision-Making: Differences By Political Orientation And Gender, Christina M. Frederick, Shawn Doherty
Publications
There may be many factors determining the moral dimensions used by individuals when making political decisions. Two important dimensions worthy of examination are political orientation and gender. Based on Moral Foundation Theory (Graham et al., 2009), the present study examined how both of the aforementioned factors influence the moral dimensions used in political decisions. Participants (n = 338) completed a demographic survey, rated their self-perceived political orientation and then completed the Moral Relevance Scale (Graham, Haidt, & Nosek, 2009) and the Ideological Consistency Scale (Pew Research Center, 2014), which was used to place participants in liberal, moderate or conservative political …

Around The Originality Of The Dramatic Work Of Louis-Benoît Picard, Ahmad Al-Btoush
Association of Arab Universities Journal for Arts مجلة اتحاد الجامعات العربية للآداب
This article focuses on the problematic of the originality of the theatrical work of Louis-Benoît Picard (1769-1828). He repeatedly recognized that several sources of inspiration allowed the production of all his comedies to great success. The use of intertextuality as a methodological tool revealed in a text expose the relations of obvious or latent co-presence between several authors. This study clearly established that authors such as Molière, La Bruyère, Gresset, and Beaumarchais have had a major influence on the theatrical work of Picard. However, this is not without ignoring the influence of Picard himself on later literary productions. This intertextuality …

This study deals with a significant historical subject, focusing on the British stance towards the Arab Emirates in the north of the Arabian Peninsula during the First World War, particularly in relation to the British Conflict with the Ottoman Empire. The primary goal for Britain was to end the Ottoman presence in the region and counter the influence of local forces in the north of the Arabian Peninsula. To achieve this objective, Britain employed a combination of both cooperative and coercive methods. Furthermore, the study explores the support from the people of the north of the Arabian Peninsula for the …

Association of Arab Universities Journal for Arts مجلة اتحاد الجامعات العربية للآداب
The experience of Kuwaiti writer and auther Abdullah Al-Busais is remarkable for its originality and creative ability to question the intellectual and cultural systems in Gulf societies. Moreover, the novel (Taste of the Wolf) comes to put the issue of the role of social customs and traditions in making human identity in an eloquent, descriptive and anatomical language capable of analyzing social cultural structures. Argumentative Of Dialogue Of Abu Hayyan Al-Tawhidi (The Sixth Night Of The Book Of Enjoyment And Sociability As An Applied Model), Rijan Abdoh Obeidat
Association of Arab Universities Journal for Arts مجلة اتحاد الجامعات العربية للآداب
Argumentative studies are among the most important studies that investigate the relationship of discourse with the recipient in terms of influence and persuasion. There was a need to research the argumentative discourse mechanisms in order to know the intent of the discourse as a message that includes persuasive and influential dimensions. The argumentative view of the discourse goes beyond the aesthetic goal to the affective element through the communicative goal of the discourse, and also devotes rhetorical and artistic aesthetics to the formulation of influence and persuasion and highlighting it in the discourse. Argumentation is one of the most important …

Jerusalemite Passions In The Poetry Of The Crusades (Victory), Ibrahim N. Mousa
Association of Arab Universities Journal for Arts مجلة اتحاد الجامعات العربية للآداب
The research studies Jerusalem and poets at the full sense of the word (passions): the meaning of love complaints, sadness, anger, and triumph, these are the religious, real, psychological, and emotional meanings that most poems tackled the situations/conditions that Jerusalem survived. However, the research focused only on the dimension of victory which is clearly shown in two topics: the setting on conquest plans, the process of victory and the image of the Victorians. The researcher approaches his topic in a critical analytical way based on historical events to reveal the inner feelings of poets and their emotions towards blessed Jerusalem, …

Mahmoud Darwish’S “Like The Flower Of Almond Or Beyond”: The Poem Of Exile And The Narrative Of The Self And Community, Mufleh Hweitat
Association of Arab Universities Journal for Arts مجلة اتحاد الجامعات العربية للآداب
This study presents an in-depth analysis of Mahmoud Darwish’s Diwan “Like the Flower of Almond or Beyond” from the perspective of the self-narrative as part of the Palestinian collective identity and its relationship with exile as experienced and narrated by the poet. It becomes clear to the reader that the poet depicts, in this collection of poems, phases from his autobiography and from that of his community. The poet associates his personal narrative of exile with the traumatic Palestinian collective memory of successive tragic transformations generated by all forms of victimization such as exile into diaspora and uprooting from homeland …

The Trends Of Zionist Literature In The Middle Of The Twentieth Century The Novel " ,חרבת חזעהKhirbet Khuzah": Smelinsky Blooms As A Model, Taisier H.M Alazzam
Association of Arab Universities Journal for Arts مجلة اتحاد الجامعات العربية للآداب
Describing modern Hebrew literature's portrayal of Palestinian colonization as a "return of the absent," despite the evident flaws in this understanding, and deeming it a necessary element of life and civilization that non-Jewish people had to embrace, reveals a colonial awareness that gave rise to a movement. This movement, propagated by a colonial mindset, established a theory supported by all colonial forces, upon which a state was built, and a society was founded that remains unparalleled to this day, despite eight decades have passed since its inception. Arabic literature, on the other hand, depicts the tragedy of Palestine as a …

Within this phenomenological study, we explored the lived experiences of 15 foreign-born U.S. college and university presidents (USCUP) to determine how their cultural background and traditions may have influenced their leadership and prepared them to lead. We also examined the strategies foreign-born USCUPs, who also self-identified as people of color, utilized to navigate to and through the presidential pipeline. We used asset-based community development to theoretically frame the study. The following research questions shaped this study: 1) What are the experiences of foreign-born USCUPs in their journey to the college presidency, and how do foreign-born USCUPs perceive the influence of …
