การศึกษาเรื่องเล่าคดีสืบสวนในทวิตเตอร์ภาษาไทยตามแนวปริจเฉทวิเคราะห์, สุภิญชญา ชูเชิด

วิทยานิพนธ์นี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 3 ประการ คือ 1) เพื่อศึกษาองค์ประกอบของการสื่อสารเรื่องเล่าคดีสืบสวนในทวิตเตอร์ภาษาไทยตามทฤษฎีชาติพันธุ์วรรณนาแห่งการสื่อสาร 2) เพื่อศึกษาโครงสร้างของเรื่องเล่าคดีสืบสวนในทวิตเตอร์ภาษาไทย และ 3) เพื่อศึกษากลวิธีทางภาษาที่ใช้ในการเล่าเรื่องคดีสืบสวนในทวิตเตอร์ภาษาไทย ข้อมูลที่ใช้ศึกษานำมาจากเรื่องเล่าคดีสืบสวนจากบัญชีผู้ใช้ทวิตเตอร์ 3 บัญชีผู้ใช้ รวม 100 เรื่อง โดยใช้แนวคิดชาติพันธุ์วรรณนาแห่งการสื่อสาร (Hymes, 1974) ในการวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบการสื่อสาร แนวคิดโครงสร้างเรื่องเล่าตามแนวคิดของลองเอเคอร์ (Longacre, 1983) ในการวิเคราะห์โครงสร้างเรื่องเล่าคดีสืบสวน และแนวคิดวัจนปฏิบัติศาสตร์ในการวิเคราะห์กลวิธีทางภาษาที่ใช้ถ่ายทอดเรื่องเล่าคดีสืบสวนในทวิตเตอร์ผลการศึกษาองค์ประกอบการสื่อสารเรื่องเล่าคดีสืบสวนในทวิตเตอร์พบว่ามี 8 องค์ประกอบ ได้แก่ 1) ฉาก (Setting) 2) ผู้ร่วมเหตุการณ์การสื่อสาร (Participants) 3) จุดมุ่งหมาย (Ends) 4) การลำดับวัจนกรรม (Act sequence) 5) น้ำเสียง (Key) 6) เครื่องมือ (Instrumentalities)7) บรรทัดฐานของปฏิสัมพันธ์และการตีความ (Norms of Interaction and Interpretation) และ 8) ประเภทการสื่อสาร (Genre) โดยองค์ประกอบที่มีอิทธิพลต่อโครงสร้างและกลวิธีทางภาษา ได้แก่ ลำดับวัจนกรรม (Act sequence) เครื่องมือ (Instrumentalities) และบรรทัดฐานของการปฏิสัมพันธ์และการตีความ (Norms of Interaction and Interpretation) จากการนำเสนอเรื่องเล่าคดีสืบสวนได้อย่างเหมาะสมกับช่องทางการสื่อสาร ทำให้ผู้อ่านเกิดความสนใจและอยากติดตามการเล่าเรื่องคดีสืบสวนตั้งแต่ต้นจนจบในด้านโครงสร้างเรื่องเล่าคดีสืบสวน พบโครงสร้าง ได้แก่ 1) การนำเรื่อง (Exposition) 2) เหตุการณ์ยั่วยุ (Inciting moment) 3) การเพิ่มความขัดแย้ง (Developing conflict) 4) จุดตึงเครียด (Climax) 5) การคลี่คลายปัญหา (Denouement) 6) เหตุการณ์ต่อเนื่อง (Final suspense) และ7) การสรุป (Conclusion) แต่ในบางเรื่องเล่าคดีสืบสวนอาจมีไม่ครบทุกองค์ประกอบ …

การถ่ายทอดวัจนลีลาของตัวละคร Cole และ Solas ในเกม Dragon Age: Inquisition ของบริษัท Bioware, ปทุมจิต อธิคมกมลาศัย

สารนิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มุ่งศึกษาการแปลวัจนลีลาของตัวละคร Cole และ Solas ในเกม Dragon Age: Inquisition (2014) ผู้วิจัยคัดเลือกตัวอย่างบทสนทนาในเกมดังกล่าวของตัวละครทั้งสองพร้อมบริบทแวดล้อมทั้งหมด 30 หน้า และตั้งสมมติฐานในการวิจัยว่าปัญหาด้านวัจนลีลาอันประกอบด้วยการใช้โครงสร้างประโยคไม่สมบูรณ์ โวหารบุคลาธิษฐาน ถ้อยคำที่มีความกำกวมคลุมเครือ เลียนแบบจังหวะหนักเบาของกาพย์กลอน เล่นสัมผัสอักษร และเลือกสรรถ้อยคำที่มีระดับภาษาสูงกว่าบทสนทนาปกติ ออกมาเป็นบทบรรยายภาษาไทยได้อย่างเหมาะสม มีอรรถรสเทียบเคียงได้กับต้นฉบับนั้นสามารถแก้ไขด้วยการวิเคราะห์วัจนลีลาตามแนวทางการวิเคราะห์และการแปลตัวบทประเภทวิดีโอเกมที่มินาโกะ โอ’เฮเกน (Minako O’Hagan) และการ์เมนแมนจิรอน (Carmen Mangiron) (2013) รายงาน กรอบวิเคราะห์ Systemic functional linguistics (SFL) ของไมเคิล ฮัลลิเดย์ (Michael Halliday, 2014) แนวคิดการแปลวัจนลีลาของจีน โบส-ไบเออร์ (Jean Boase-Beier, 2019) ข้อจำกัดและกลวิธีการแปลบทบรรยายภาพยนตร์ที่เสนอโดยฆอร์เฆ ดิอัซ-ซินตัส (Jorge Díaz-Cintas) และอาลิเนอ รีมาเอล (Aline Remael) (2020) ร่วมกับการศึกษาโครงสร้างประโยคที่ไม่สมบูรณ์ในภาษาไทยผลการวิจัยพบว่าทฤษฎีและแนวทางต่าง ๆ ตามที่ได้ศึกษามีประโยชน์ต่อการแปลเป็นอย่างยิ่ง สามารถใช้แก้ไขปัญหาการถ่ายทอดวัจนลีลาให้มีสมมูลภาพใกล้เคียงกับต้นฉบับ ทั้งยังทำให้ผู้วิจัยตระหนักและใส่ใจเรื่องกลวิธีที่ใช้เพื่อถ่ายทอดวัจนลีลาในภาษาอังกฤษให้ออกมาอย่างเหมาะสมในภาษาไทยด้วยความต่างทางภาษา สรรหาวิธีทดแทนหรือชดเชยอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ สอดรับกับหน้าที่บทบรรยายได้อย่างเหมาะสม

ทัศนะแบบอนุมานความรู้สึกตัวของสัตว์ของไมเคิล ไทย์, วีรวุฒิ เหรียญมณี

ข้อถกเถียงเรื่องสภาวะความรู้สึกตัวของสัตว์แบ่งได้เป็นสองแนว ได้แก่ แนวที่ใช้ การอ้างเหตุผลแบบไม่อนุมานความรู้สึกตัวของสัตว์ เชื่อว่าสภาวะจิตของสัตว์สามารถรับรู ้ได้โดยตรง เนื่องจากสภาวะจิตของสัตว์สามารถสังเกตได้จากการเคลื่อนไหวและการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์ของสัตว์ต่อสิ่งอื่น และแนวที่ใช้การอ้างเหตุผลแบบอนุมานความรู้สึกตัวของสัตว์ เชื่อว่า สภาวะจิตของสัตว์สามารถอนุมานได้จากพฤติกรรม ไมเคิล ไทย์ (2017) สนับสนุนแนวการอ้างเหตุผลแบบที่สองเชื่อว่า จิตของสัตว์สามารถอนุมานได้จากพฤติกรรมการเรียนรู ้ เนื่องจากพฤติกรรมการเรียนรู้แสดงให้เห็นถึงการตอบสนองแบบยืดหยุ่น ในวิทยานิพนธ์เล่มนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์และปกป้องทัศนะของไทย์ด้วยการการอ้างเหตุผลสองประการหลัก ได้แก่ หนึ่ง ความรู้สึกตัว คือ การรับประสบการณ์ ไม่ใช่การคิด และสอง แม้มีกรณีการเรียนรู้แบบปราศจากความรู้สึกตัว (เช่น การเรียนไวยากรณ์) กรณีดังกล่าวยังคงไม่เพียงพอต่อการพิสูจน์ว่าความรู้สึกตัวของสัตว์ไม่สามารถอนุมานได้จากพฤติกรรมการเรียนรู ้

การศึกษาการใช้ การรู้จำ และปัญหาการสื่อสารของพจนวัตรตามแนววัจนปฏิบัติศาสตร์ภาษาระหว่างกลางของผู้เรียนภาษาไทยชาวจีน, รดารัตน์ ศรีพันธ์วรสกุล

พจนวัตรเป็นรูปภาษาตายตัวที่มักปรากฏซ้ำในสถานการณ์หนึ่ง ๆ จนกลายเป็นขนบในการปฏิสัมพันธ์ที่สมาชิกในชุมชนภาษานั้นรับรู้ร่วมกัน แต่มักเป็นความท้าทายสำหรับผู้เรียนภาษาที่สอง สอดคล้องกับการสังเกตการณ์และการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกที่พบว่า พจนวัตรเป็นรูปภาษาที่มักก่อให้เกิดปัญหาในการสื่อสารของผู้เรียนภาษาไทยชาวจีน งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาตามแนววัจนปฏิบัติศาสตร์ภาษาระหว่างกลาง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการใช้ การรู้จำ และปัญหาในการใช้พจนวัตรของผู้เรียนภาษาไทยชาวจีน เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามชนิดเติมเต็มบทสนทนา แบบสอบถามชนิดหลายตัวเลือก และการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก ผู้ให้ข้อมูลประกอบด้วยผู้พูดภาษาไทยจำนวน 60 คน แบ่งเป็นผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามและผู้ให้สัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกกลุ่มละ 30 คน และผู้เรียนภาษาไทยชาวจีนทั้งหมดที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ในระดับปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่ 2-4 ในหลักสูตรภาษาไทยเพื่อการสื่อสารสำหรับชาวต่างประเทศ (นานาชาติ) ภาควิชาภาษาไทย คณะมนุษยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ มีจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 33 คน ผู้เรียนทั้งหมดมาจากมณฑลยูนนานและมีระดับความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาไทยอยู่ในระดับ B2-C2 ตามกรอบของ CEFRผลการศึกษาการใช้พจนวัตรพบว่า ในด้านรูปภาษา ผู้เรียนใช้พจนวัตรส่วนใหญ่เหมือนกับเจ้าของภาษา แต่พบรูปแปรที่แตกต่างกันและอาจก่อให้เกิดปัญหา คือ การไม่ใช้คำลงท้ายและการใช้คำสรรพนามที่ไม่เหมาะสม ส่วนในด้านความถี่ ผู้เรียนใช้พจนวัตรได้น้อยกว่าเจ้าของภาษา อีกทั้งยังแตกต่างกับเจ้าของภาษาอย่างมีนัยสำคัญมากถึง 11 ถ้อยคำ แสดงให้เห็นว่าพจนวัตรยังคงเป็นข้อจำกัดในการใช้ภาษาของผู้เรียน นอกจากนี้ยังพบว่าผู้เรียนนิยมใช้ถ้อยคำอื่น ๆ ร่วมกับพจนวัตรหรือใช้รูปภาษาอื่น ๆ แทนพจนวัตรด้วย ซึ่งมีทั้งรูปภาษาที่คล้ายกับเจ้าของภาษาและรูปภาษาที่อาจก่อให้เกิดปัญหาในการปฏิสัมพันธ์ ทั้งนี้สาเหตุที่ส่งผลให้ผู้เรียนใช้พจนวัตรแตกต่างกับเจ้าของภาษา ประกอบด้วย การไม่รู้จำพจนวัตร การถ่ายโอนทางวัจนปฏิบัติศาสตร์ อิทธิพลจากแบบเรียนและการเรียนการสอน การเหมารวม และข้อจำกัดในการใช้ภาษาผลการศึกษาการรู้จำพจนวัตรพบว่า ผู้เรียนรู้จำพจนวัตรได้น้อยกว่าเจ้าของภาษา อีกทั้งยังแตกต่างกับเจ้าของภาษาอย่างมีนัยสำคัญมากถึง 8 ถ้อยคำ สะท้อนให้เห็นว่าผู้เรียนส่วนใหญ่ยังไม่คุ้นเคยกับพจนวัตรในภาษาไทย ในด้านความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างการใช้กับการรู้จำพจนวัตร ผลการศึกษาพบว่าผู้เรียนใช้และรู้จำพจนวัตรส่วนใหญ่ไปในทิศทางเดียวกัน แต่พบพจนวัตรที่ใช้น้อยและรู้จำน้อยมากถึง 7 ถ้อยคำ นอกจากนี้ยังพบพจนวัตรที่ผู้เรียนรู้จำมากแต่ใช้น้อยด้วย ซึ่งสะท้อนให้เห็นข้อจำกัดด้านความสามารถทางวัจนปฏิบัติเชิงสังคมของผู้เรียนผลการศึกษาปัญหาในการใช้พจนวัตรของผู้เรียนจากมุมมองของเจ้าของภาษาพบว่า การที่ผู้เรียนใช้พจนวัตรแตกต่างกับเจ้าของภาษาอาจไม่ได้ก่อให้เกิดปัญหาเสมอไป อย่างไรก็ตาม การใช้ภาษาของผู้เรียนในบางลักษณะก็อาจก่อให้เกิดปัญหาในการสื่อสารได้ ปัญหาที่พบสามารถแบ่งได้เป็น 4 ด้าน คือ ด้านการสื่อเจตนา ด้านความสุภาพและความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างคู่สนทนา ด้านความเหมาะสมต่อปริบทการสื่อสาร และด้านความเป็นธรรมชาติ นอกจากนี้ยังพบว่าถ้อยคำที่สื่อเจตนาได้แต่ไม่เหมาะสมอาจก่อให้เกิดปัญหาที่รุนแรงมากกว่ารูปภาษาที่ไม่สื่อเจตนา เนื่องจากส่งผลกระทบต่อความรู้สึกของคู่สนทนาผลการศึกษาสามารถนำไปใช้ในการออกแบบการเรียนการสอนภาษาไทยให้แก่ผู้เรียนชาวจีน โดยเฉพาะผู้เรียนในหลักสูตรดังกล่าว เพื่อให้ผู้เรียนคุ้นเคยกับพจนวัตรในภาษาไทยและใช้ได้ใกล้เคียงกับเจ้าของภาษา ทั้งในด้านรูปภาษาและสถานการณ์ที่ปรากฏ รวมทั้งตระหนักถึงปัญหาที่อาจเกิดจากการใช้ภาษาที่ไม่เหมาะสม นอกจากนี้ยังสามารถนำผลศึกษาการใช้พจนวัตรของผู้พูดภาษาไทยไปเป็นข้อมูลในการออกแบบแบบเรียนให้แก่ผู้เรียนชาวต่างชาติได้อีกด้วย

ทรงผมกับความเป็นหญิงในสังคมไทย ทศวรรษ 2460 – ทศวรรษ 2480, ชลธร เจียมใจเมืองแก้ว

วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างการไว้ทรงผมของผู้หญิงกับการนิยามความเป็นหญิงในสังคมไทยในทศวรรษ 2460 - ทศวรรษ 2480 ในบริบทของการเข้าสู่ภาวะความเป็นสมัยใหม่และการสร้างรัฐชาติสมัยใหม่ของไทย และเสนอว่า การถกเถียงกันเรื่องทรงผมของผู้หญิง การพยายามจูงใจหรือบงการการจัดการกับผมของผู้หญิง และการพยายามนิยามความเป็นหญิง ที่เกิดขึ้นในสังคมไทยในช่วงเวลาที่ศึกษา วางอยู่บนฐานความคิดหลัก 3 ประการ คือ ความเป็นสมัยใหม่ คุณค่าทางสังคม และวาระทางการเมือง จากการวิเคราะห์หลักฐานทางประวัติศาสตร์ ได้แก่ สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์ร่วมสมัย งานวรรณกรรม บันทึกส่วนบุคคล รวมไปถึงภาพและภาพถ่ายเก่า พบว่า ในช่วงสามทศวรรษดังกล่าว การไว้ทรงผมแบบจารีตของผู้หญิงในสังคมไทยได้เสื่อมคลายไป และหันไปนิยมทรงผมแบบใหม่ที่รับมาจากตะวันตก โดยเป็นผลจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงประเทศเข้าสู่ความเป็นสมัยใหม่ที่เริ่มต้นในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 ไปจนถึงยุคหลังการเปลี่ยนแปลงการปกครอง พ.ศ. 2475 ซึ่งทำให้มีการเกิดขึ้นของสื่อสมัยใหม่อย่างสื่อสิ่งพิมพ์และภาพยนตร์ การเข้ามาของเทคโนโลยีและการเกิดธุรกิจความงามรูปแบบใหม่ และที่สำคัญคือการเกิดคนแบบใหม่ที่มีการศึกษา การมองโลก และการใช้ชีวิตแบบตะวันตกผลการศึกษาพบว่า ทรงผมแบบใหม่ คือ “ผมยาวเกล้ามวย” “ผมบ๊อบ” “ผมดัด” รวมถึง “ผมยาว-สวมหมวก” ได้กลายเป็นพื้นที่ของการแย่งชิงกันนิยามความเป็นหญิง เป็นสนามปะทะความคิดระหว่างหญิงและชาย เป็นโอกาสในการสร้างตัวตนแบบสมัยใหม่ของผู้หญิง อีกทั้งแสดงว่าผู้หญิงและทรงผมของผู้หญิงยังมีความสำคัญในฐานะที่เป็นองค์ประกอบหนึ่งของการแสดงความเจริญและเอกภาพของชาติ และยังพบด้วยว่า สถานภาพของผู้หญิงและความหมายของความเป็นหญิงในสังคมไทยในช่วงเวลาดังกล่าวไม่ได้ถูกกำหนดและควบคุมโดยผู้ชายหรือชนชั้นนำแต่เพียงอย่างเดียว แต่ผู้หญิงเองก็มีบทบาทสำคัญในการสร้างเสริมสถานภาพของตนและนิยามความเป็นหญิงด้วยเช่นกัน

การสร้างสรรค์การแสดงลำหมู่ร่วมสมัยเรื่อง นางไอ่, พชญ อัคพราหมณ์

งานวิจัยเน้นปฏิบัติการสร้างการแสดงลำหมู่ในรูปแบบร่วมสมัย ซึ่งลำหมู่เป็นการแสดงหมอลำประเภทหนึ่งในภาคอีสานของประเทศไทย และในประชาชนลาว เป็นมหรสพประชานิยม หรือหมอลำกระแสหลัก ที่มุ่งนำเสนอความยิ่งใหญ่อลังการของเวที ฉาก แสง สี เสียง และโชว์ต่าง ๆ ที่มีความทันสมัย ในขณะที่ การแสดงลำหมู่แบบดั้งเดิมมีแนวโน้มที่ผู้ชมจะให้ความสนใจลดน้อยลง เพราะการฟังเรื่องราว ไม่เป็นที่นิยมเหมือนในอดีต ผู้วิจัยเห็นว่า แก่นสำคัญของการแสดงลำหมู่ คือ เรื่องราว กลอนลำ การลำ และการแสดง เป็นคุณค่าหลักของการแสดงประเภทนี้ จึงสนใจที่จะหากลวิธีสร้างการแสดงลำหมู่ร่วมสมัย ที่สามารถสื่อสารความคิดทั้งด้านคติธรรม และวิถีชีวิตจากวรรณกรรมอีสานเรื่อง ผาแดง-นางไอ่ รวมถึง รูปแบบการนำเสนอที่เหมาะสมกับผู้ชมอีสานรุ่นใหม่ โดยใช้แนวทางของละครดีไวซ์ เป็นเครื่องมือทำงานแบบร่วมสร้างกับศิลปินมือสมัครเล่นที่มีประสบการณ์เกี่ยวกับหมอลำ และใช้องค์ประกอบของการแสดงลำหมู่ผสานกับศิลปะการละครตะวันตกสมัยใหม่ ผ่านกระบวนการวิจัยปฏิบัติการ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า วิจัยในลักษณะ ‘ปฏิบัติ-นำ-วิจัย’ และการบูรณาการศาสตร์ภายใต้แนวทางละครดีไวซ์ นำไปสู่กระบวนการทดลองสร้าง และลงมือค้นหาวิธีสร้างการแสดงที่มุ่งตอบโจทย์วิจัยเป็นหลัก จนเกิดเป็นการแสดงลำหมู่ร่วมสมัยแนวทางใหม่ 2 รูปแบบ ได้แก่ 1. หมอลำอินเธียเตอร์ และ 2. หมอลำลูกผสม โดยทั้งสองรูปแบบให้ความสำคัญกับแก่นของการแสดงลำหมู่ ซึ่งมีวิธีการเล่าเรื่อง และรูปแบบ การนำเสนอที่เน้นการสื่อสารความคิดจากเรื่องเดิมไปยังผู้ชม กลอนลำที่สื่อสารเรื่องราว และการกระทำตัวละคร การลำที่สัมพันธ์ความรู้สึกภายในของผู้แสดง การแสดง (acting) ที่มุ่งเสนอความสมจริง และเป็นธรรมชาติ รวมถึง การใช้ลีลาร่วมสมัยที่เน้นสื่อสารเรื่องราวแทนการเต้น และภาพอลังการของมหรสพประชานิยม ผ่านกระบวนการทำงานที่ใช้หลักการกำกับการแสดงในการตีความเรื่อง โดยเชื่อมโยงกับ แก่นความคิด และสื่อสารผ่านองค์ประกอบต่าง ๆ บนเวที การแสดงทั้ง 2 รูปแบบ สามารถเข้าถึง กลุ่มผู้ชมกลุ่มเป้าหมายที่เป็นนักศึกษา และคนอีสานรุ่นใหม่ ตลอดจนเป็นการสร้างพื้นที่การแสดงหมอลำแนวใหม่ เพื่อขยายมิติของศิลปะการแสดงหมอลำให้มีความหลากหลาย และเป็นทางเลือกใหม่ของผู้ชม ที่สนใจศิลปะการแสดงหมอลำ

การสร้างสรรค์ละครร่วมสมัยจากบทคำพรัดโนรา, สายฝน ไฝเส้ง

งานวิจัยนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายในการศึกษา เพื่อวิเคราะห์และสังเคราะห์บทร้องคำพรัดโนรา ถอดองค์ความรู้และหาแก่นสาระหลักคำสอนอันเป็นหลักปฏิบัติที่โนรายึดถือในการดำเนินชีวิต และออกแบบและสร้างสรรค์ละครร่วมสมัยเพื่อสื่อสารหลักคำสอนที่แฝงฝังอยู่ในวิถีของโนรา อันมีความโดดเด่นในเรื่องการให้คติสอนใจ คุณธรรมจริยธรรม หลักการใช้ชีวิตตามแบบฉบับของโนรา ใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงสร้างสรรค์ทางศิลปะการแสดงที่เน้นการลงมือปฏิบัติ (Practice as Research) ด้วยกระบวนการละครแบบร่วมสร้างเป็นส่วนสำคัญ โดยเก็บข้อมูลจากผู้มีส่วนร่วมซึ่งเป็นนิสิตสาขาวิชาศิลปะการแสดง มีกระบวนการสร้างงานแบ่งออกเป็น 5 ระยะ คือ การพัฒนาประเด็น พัฒนาเรื่อง/บท พัฒนาการแสดง และนำเสนอผลงาน เพื่อนำเสนอแก่นสาระหลักของเรื่องคือ ความกตัญญู นำเสนอในรูปแบบละครลูกผสม (Hybrid Performance) ขนาดสั้นจำนวน 3 เรื่อง คือ บ้าน ครู และธรรมชาติ ใช้โครงสร้างการเล่นคำพรัดโนราแบบวิถีเดิมผสมผสานกับการเล่าเรื่องในวิถีใหม่ มาถ่ายทอดในมุมมองของความเป็นปัจจุบัน ผ่านประสบการณ์ ภูมิรู้ และทักษะของนักแสดง ด้วยการตีความใหม่ที่มีความลึกซึ้ง สร้างวิถีคิดใหม่ ที่มีความสัมพันธ์กันระหว่างนักแสดงกับผู้ชม ในลักษณะของละครเล่าเรื่องผสมผสานการรำ การร้อง แบบโนรา ใช้องค์ประกอบของดนตรีเพื่อเชื่อมการเปลี่ยนเรื่อง มีกลุ่มผู้ชมเป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย ในจังหวัดสงขลา ทำหน้าที่เป็นผู้ประเมินด้วยการสนทนากลุ่ม จากการศึกษาพบว่า เนื้อหาและรูปแบบของการแสดงมีความสอดคล้องและสัมพันธ์กับบริบทในปัจจุบัน ทำให้ผู้ชมเกิดการเรียนรู้เรื่องราวของโนราที่มาจากบทคำพรัดได้ง่ายขึ้น ด้วยวิธีการเล่าที่สั้นและกระชับ ผสมผสานกับการนำองค์ประกอบของการแสดงโนรา ทั้งท่ารำ การร้องบท และดนตรี ทำให้ชวนติดตาม และในขณะเดียวกันละครก็สามารถสื่อสารแก่นเรื่องความกตัญญูได้ถึงแม้จะถูกนำเสนอผ่านการสร้างความหมายใหม่ก็ตาม นอกจากนี้ การนำบทคำพรัดมาวิเคราะห์ สังเคราะห์อีกครั้งเป็นกระบวนการหนึ่งที่จะยังทำให้บทคำพรัดยังมีการใช้-ดำรงอยู่ ทำซ้ำและขยายความเข้าใจในวงกว้าง เกิดการตีความ เรียนรู้ความหมายที่แท้จริงที่ซ่อนอยู่

This study aims to analyze the representation of Thainess constructed in Thai-as-a-foreign-language textbooks in the Republic of Korea and to examine the factors that influence the construction of these representations. Employing a qualitative research approach and content analysis, the study examines the sociocultural content of five Thai-as-a-foreign-language textbooks aligned with the Critical Foreign Languages policy of the Republic of Korea. The analysis revealed seven key dimensions of sociocultural content within the textbooks, including: language and language culture, people in Thai society, traditions and cultural heritage, Thai history, environmental geography, economy and tourism industry, and Thai politics and international relations. งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษากลวิธีการเขียนบทละครหญิงรักหญิงและศึกษาการสร้างสรรค์บทละครประเภทกอธิก (gothic) ที่นำเสนอประเด็นอคติทางเพศที่มีต่อหญิงรักหญิง ผู้วิจัยใช้แนวคิดองค์ประกอบวรรณกรรมกอธิกของ โรเบิร์ต แฮร์ริส (Robert Harris) เป็นแนวคิดหลักในการสร้างสรรค์บทละคร เนื่องจากผู้วิจัยต้องการนำเสนอประเด็นอคติทางเพศผ่านสัญญะความเป็น ‘ผี’ และ ‘การหลอกหลอน’ โดยกระบวนการเขียนบทละครนั้นผู้วิจัยตั้งต้นจากการศึกษาและวิเคราะห์ปัญหาอคติทางเพศที่หญิงรักหญิงประสบในชีวิตประจำวันทั้งอดีตและปัจจุบันในการกำหนดแก่นเรื่อง (theme) จากนั้นผู้วิจัยจึงสร้างบทละครเรื่อง ใครในบ้าน โดยแบ่งตัวเรื่องออกเป็นสองเส้นเรื่อง เส้นเรื่องหลักนำเสนอความรักของหญิงรักหญิงในปัจจุบัน ส่วนเส้นเรื่องรองนำเสนอเรื่องราวความรักของหญิงรักหญิงในอดีตที่กลายเป็นโศกนาฎกรรม ซึ่งผู้วิจัยใช้วิธีการเชื่อมสองเส้นเรื่องนี้ด้วยสิ่งของสำคัญที่ปรากฎในอดีตและยังคงอยู่มาจนปัจจุบันเพื่อแสดงให้เห็นว่าปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้นในอดีตนั้นยังคงมีอยู่ แม้ว่าในปัจจุบันปัญหาที่หญิงรักหญิงประสบจะไม่ร้ายแรงเท่าในอดีตแต่อคติที่เกิดขึ้นในอดีตนั้นยังไม่หายไปและยังสร้างความหวาดกลัวให้กับผู้ที่เป็นหญิงรักหญิงอยู่ บทละครเรื่องนี้ได้ถูกนำไปจัดแสดงและเก็บข้อมูลผู้ชมผ่านแบบสอบถาม ผลการศึกษาพบว่า บทละครสามารถสื่อสารประเด็นความรักของหญิงรักหญิงและอคติทางเพศกับผู้ชมได้ แต่สัญญะความเป็น ‘ผี’ ที่ผู้วิจัยต้องการสื่อสารถึงอคติทางเพศนั้นยังไม่สามารถสื่อถึงผู้ชมได้อย่างชัดเจน อันเนื่องมาจากกลวิธีในการสื่อสารบทสนทนาต่าง ๆ ผ่านตัวละครนั้น ผู้วิจัยยังนำเสนอด้วยน้ำเสียงที่ประนีประนอมเกินไป ตัวละครเอกของเรื่องควรเจอสภาวะเจ็บปวดมากกว่านี้เพื่อสื่อเรื่องของอคติทางเพศซึ่งเป็นเรื่องที่จริงจังและเจ็บปวดของหญิงรักหญิง และองค์ประกอบศิลป์เป็นสิ่งที่สำคัญอย่างมากในการช่วยนำเสนอความเป็นกอธิกและช่วยให้ประเด็นที่ต้องการนำเสนอชัดเจนขึ้น

This paper examines the romanticized representation of same-sex love relationships in Thai BL series through a case study of the Thai television series My School President. It is found that the series, despite its theme of same-sex love, still presents traditional gender stereotypes, with character images and gender roles displaying obvious traditional gender traits. Tinn and Gun display traditional masculine and feminine traits, with Tinn portraying strength and decisiveness, and Gun portraying gentleness and dependence, respectively. At first glance, it is apparent that this is not a typical art book or exhibition catalog. Spiral bound with various, variegated folios and sections, Devour the Land appears to be taken from a restricted archive. Indeed, everything down to the chosen fonts makes it seem as if this was a government record. Yet, it becomes quickly evident that this engaging text is not a report that federal authorities would like to broadcast. By subverting the look of a bureaucratic document, this text penetrates and probes the very system it wants to critique.

In 1949 the painter Mabel Frazer (1887–1981) applied for, and finally received, promotion to the position of associate professor of art at the University of Utah. Yet, after nearly three decades of diligent service, she witnessed her male peers, often with far fewer bona fides, receive advancement.1 This was the challenge, she acknowledged, of being a “woman in a man’s institution.”2 Throughout her career Frazer repeatedly overcame similar challenges and, by so doing, defied and redefined what it meant to be a female artist in Utah. This article examines the life of Nancy Naomi Tracy as a lens into the Latter-day Saint struggle for religious liberty in nineteenth-century America. Joining the Church in 1834, Tracy endured repeated persecution—from the Missouri expulsions and the 1838 Mormon War to the federal antipolygamy campaigns of the 1880s—yet actively fought for her faith’s constitutional protections. As the only known female electioneer missionary in Joseph Smith’s 1844 presidential campaign, she embodied the Saints’ bold blend of religious conviction and political engagement. Through a new critical reading of the relevant images found in The Young Physique and Physique Pictorial, I explore how the sailor has become a homoerotic icon and how the sailor has become an object of gay fetishization and fantasy. Humans have long been interested in relations among religion/spirituality (R/S), positive psychological constructs, and physical health. Furthermore, many religions attempt to influence behavior through health-related prescriptions about food choices, sexual activity, substance use, and resting. From an anthropological perspective, the acts of war and worship share similarities. Both are mission-driven, exercise rituals and liturgies, use songs, and have calls to duty. As such, the ultimate legitimization of war uses elements of sacred language usually found in the context of worship. The study of Jeremiah’s language usage provides a critical perspective on this typical anthropological phenomenon: the legitimization of war employing sacred language. Individuals in positions of power influence youth wellbeing, self-perception, and overall mental health. According to the minority stress model, individuals who hold marginalized identities, such as LGBTQ+ youth, face unique, chronic, and socially based additive stressors. Research shows that these additive stressors contribute to LGBTQ+ youth experiencing disproportionate rates of mental health concerns. Queer youth are more than four times as likely to attempt suicide than their non-queer identifying peers. Additive stressors that LGBTQ+ youth face include prejudiced events, stigma, decisions of concealment or disclosure, and internalized homophobia and transphobia.
