At the present moment, which is prior to conducting any research, I am of the opinion that anthropology has been influenced by certain schools of thought, and each school’s definition establishes a trajectory which definitively determines the adherent’s worldview. The schools of anthropology which are prevalent in today’s world, in my estimation, are the evolutionist’s perspective, the hedonistic perspective, the rationalistic perspective, the dualistic perspective and the Christian perspective. The Protestant church of South Korea witnessed remarkable growth since the Gospel was first preached in Korea in the nineteenth century; growth in the second half of the twentieth century was particularly strong. The Presbyterian church in South Korea, however, experienced decline since 1995: this was mainly due to Christians’ lack of good influence toward the non-Christians in their lives. The increase in massive open online course (MOOC) offerings in theological higher education presents unique equipping opportunities for local churches, providing high-quality instruction from authoritative scholars. The purpose of this project is to facilitate participation in a MOOC to equip members of Calvary Baptist Church, Lynchburg, Virginia, with basic hermeneutic principles in order to enrich personal Bible study and prepare for teaching the Bible. China has experienced high speed of economic growth, trying to catch up with the developed countries. Monetary policy has played a more and more important role in China. This dissertation studies the impacts of China's monetary policy on China's housing market, stock market, and China's economic growth.

The first essay examines macroeconomic determinants of China's housing price by constructing a VAR model. Granger Causality tests, impulse response functions and variance decompositions are used to analyze the impacts of macroeconomic factors on the housing price. In this paper we present an appreciative inquiry case study of our work together in a PhD defence, which we believe demonstrates a best practice in the field of signed language interpreting. We call into question the meaning and relevance of the ‘designated interpreter’ model, examining whether there is a ‘perfect formula’ for deaf academics and interpreters working together, not only in PhD defences, but also in academia more generally. The purpose of this article is to explore the pedagogical benefits of experiencing and practicing relay interpreting for conference interpreting trainees. Relay interpreting was defined by Shlesinger (2010) as “the practice of interpreting from one language to another through a third language”. The organizational system for providing Finnish sign language interpreter services has recently changed, and this change has influenced the whole interpretation service industry. It poses major challenges for the maintenance of job satisfaction among sign language professionals. The level of job satisfaction of sign language interpreters (in this study, N = 135) was surveyed by means of an online questionnaire. While examining this phenomenon, this study mainly addresses the systemic factors in employment conditions. According to the results, the level of job satisfaction among interpreters is quite high; however, it remains clearly lower than the average for Finnish workers. The …

Effects Of An Educational Intervention On Exclusive Breastfeeding Rates In Marshallese Mothers Residing In The U.S., Connor K. Otto

Background: The largest population of Marshallese immigrants in the Contiguous U.S. resides in Northwest Arkansas. Despite adequate access to healthcare, the Marshallese face many health disparities, perhaps partly due to the language barrier they face in healthcare settings and education. Regarding breastfeeding rates, women in the Marshall Islands have a significantly higher rate of exclusive breastfeeding than in Marshallese women residing in the U.S. who face cultural barriers. Breastfeeding is positively correlated to many benefits for infants and is recommended exclusively for at least 6 months by pediatric policy organizations.

Background: Marshall Islanders are one of the fastest growing migrant populations in the US and Northwest Arkansas. Health disparities and maintenance of strong cultural values and norms may adversely affect the Marshallese participation in the health care system. Evidence shows that cultural competency training can improve the attitudes, knowledge, skills and behaviors of health professionals and has many positive impacts. The Clinical Cultural Competency Questionnaire (CCCQ) is a research-validated tool that can be used to measure perceived cultural competency through many subscale categories.

諧聲假借是利用語音的相同或相近關係來造字和使用文字。諧聲偏旁的讀音必定與整字的讀音相同或相近，某字所假借表示的詞的語音必定與其本來的讀音相同或相近。音近有一定的原則：聲母方面，如同部位的塞音，同部位的鼻流音；韻母方面，如韻相同，開合相同。但不合一般原則的諧聲假借亦不乏其例，尤其是在以戰國竹簡爲代表的出土古文字資料中，諧聲假借的語音關係表現複雜，需要加以歸納和解釋。而傳統的“一聲之轉”説帶有極大的任意性，必須摒棄。

新見《壽「四每」尊》銘文所見「卜馬」字試釋, Pui Ling Tang

香港翰海秋季拍賣會公佈新見《壽「四每」尊》乙器，年代屬於西周早期至中期之間。銘文記有“睗（錫）「卜馬」馬卅匹”一語，當中，「卜馬」字从“卜”从“馬”，乃金文首見，拍賣圖録讀爲“駙”。本文結合傳世文獻所見“馼”、“駇”二字的討論，提出尊銘「卜馬」字當讀爲“駁”，“睗（錫）「卜馬」馬卅匹”意指賞賜雜色馬三十匹。此外，本文復通過先秦用馬制度中“毛馬而頒之”與“物馬而頒之”的記述，指出《壽「四每」尊》所記賜馬數量較多，或因雜色馬無法用於禮儀活動，故其用途可以理解爲軍旅出征或家居代步。

説甲骨文的「豕凶十」和「奚戌」字, Qingyu Du

甲骨文中的「豕凶十」和「奚戌」字都比較常見，但它們的字形該如何分析，學界尚無統一意見。本文通過相關字形的分析對比，並結合辭例及文獻進行考察，認爲「豕凶十」爲「冡」字初文，「奚戌」爲「髡」字初文。

戰國楚竹書《容成氏》校讀, Zhi-Peng Lin

《上海博物館藏戰國楚竹書》第2册有《容成氏》一篇，存簡五十餘枚，内容涉及夏商周三代興亡及其前的古史傳説，所記頗能補傳世文獻之闕。從2002年刊布以來，已有多部專書及數百篇論文針對此篇竹書的簡序編聯、疑難字詞及思想内涵作深入的探討。近年孫飛燕、單育辰搜集相關論著，分别編有集釋，筆者在其整理的基礎上，重新校讀全篇竹書。除了廣引時賢意見，加以論斷、補充新説外，筆者對於簡文中的難解詞語，如“歭板正立”、“方爲三俈”、“民乃宜怨”等，亦提出自己的看法。

新出曾伯「雨桼」壺銘的“元屖”與舊著録銅器銘文中相關詞語考釋, Pei Shen

2017年1月16、17日，湖北省文物考古研究所發表湖北京山蘇家壟遺址出土的曾伯雨桼壺銘文照片，並對銘文大部分内容作了解釋。有學者很快就發表了研究文章。本文隨即對前述相關研究做了檢討，重新隸寫釋文，並作相關注釋，重點將其中“孔武元屖”與舊著録曾伯「雨桼」簠相應的“元武孔黹”進行對比，確定“孔黹”當讀爲“孔夷”。由此，文章又對其他銘文中難解的“黹”字及相關語詞進行了重新解釋。此外，文章還順便討論了樂器銘文中常見的“元鳴孔皇”的語法結構問題。

試論早期“中國”觀念的形成, Gang Xu

西周初年，“中國”的概念逐漸固定在洛陽，這是武王、周公的戰略設計。在周民族進入中國歷史之前，洛陽一直是個邊緣地帶，並不是政治與文化的中心。西周以前，華夏族的政治經濟中心是九州中的冀州地區。把洛陽作爲天下之中，除了地理的因素之外，更重要的是宗教、軍事、資源上的考慮。“中國”是一個宗教性的概念，是一種精神的象徵。

司馬遷與《過秦》篇, Kanli Chen

司馬遷編著《史記》，全文引述賈誼《過秦》篇，有含而未申之義。參考北大漢簡《趙正書》等出土文獻，可知《過秦》所述史事别有所據，與《史記》多有牴牾。司馬遷對這些牴牾之處未加删削，也不像對待一般作品那樣將《過秦》篇置入作者的列傳，而是收録在抒發己見的“太史公曰”中，有意假借賈誼的文字，寫出對武帝晚年政局的批評和重蹈亡秦覆轍的憂慮。這樣的表達方式，受到《詩》《書》《春秋》等古代經典的影響，切合當時的歷史情境，更與司馬遷本人的遭遇和心態緊密聯繫，體現了《史記》寫作中個人化的一面。

新出“宗人”諸器所反映的西周宗族關係, Wei Han

新見流散西周青銅器中，有一組與名爲“宗人”的貴族相關的銅器，包括宗人簋兩件、伯或父鼎（作器者實爲“宗人”）一件、叔安父簋一件、孝簋一件、叔友簋兩件。這組銅器年代在西周中期後段，銘文内容涉及西周世族的内部結構以及大、小宗之間的關係，十分重要。銘文記録“伯或父（伯氏）”、“凡姬”和“叔安父”先後賞賜“宗人”和“孝（叔友）”，或爲他們製作祭器。本文首先分析銅器銘文中記録的人物關係，指出“伯或父”爲該家族大宗宗子，“凡姬”爲其夫人，是出身“周公之胤”凡氏家族的女子。“叔安父”應爲“伯或父”之世子。“宗人”是“伯或父”的小宗侄輩，“孝（叔友）”則是“宗人”的親兄弟。由此可見，西周時期世族内部的大宗和小宗之間保持着嚴格的宗法關係，在政治、經濟和祭祀等諸方面，小宗都服從於大宗，並從大宗獲取資源支持。而且大宗宗子的夫人（宗婦）和世子（法定繼承人）都在族内享有一定的支配權。這些都深化了我們對西周家族形態和宗法制度的認識。

談談戰國文字中用爲“野”的“冶”字, Ping'an Zhao

戰國文字中有一個從“土”從“爪”的字，長期以來得不到正確的釋讀。本文比較系統地梳理了該字的研究歷史，分析了該字的相關用例，特别是新出簡帛資料，認爲應釋爲野。從來源上講，很可能是冶的假借改造字。

中國古墓爲何隨葬書籍, Hua Yang

中國古墓中出土大量書籍，是上古葬俗的反映。在喪葬禮制的初期，它們被埋入墓中，可能與墓主的身份、職業、興趣有直接關係，但後來相沿成俗，便變得關係不大了，大多是舉喪時臨時抄寫的文本。喪家可能並不在意入葬文本的性質和完整性，而只是在意是否隨葬了“書”，對葬書禮俗的重視反而超過了對文獻本身的重視。所以纔會出現重複文本、摘抄選抄、補綴書寫、空白簡等現象。不同時期人間社會流行的書籍，在“陰間”墓葬中都會得到反映。

戰國工官屬吏中的成童 : 再談三晉銘刻中所見“孺子”的身份, Yongbing Guo

本文結合《陝西金文集成》著録的春成孺子鼎和邵陰下官銅箍銘文，對戰國文字資料中與斠量器物有關的“孺子”的身份再次進行了探討，否定了過去對三晉銘刻中所見的部分“孺子”身份的判斷，認爲這些“孺子”是工官中負責諸如器物檢定斠量等輔助工作的成童，與戰國文字資料中的“敖童/敖史”、“馬童”身份接近，或可類比。文末附帶談了燕國的“郭大夫甗”，懷疑所謂“郭”字可能也應改釋“乳”，並對器物自名作了研究。
