History
These methods that Herreshoff utilized can be classified as early stages of the LEAN manufacturing concept which is used today in a majority of America’s leading manufacturers. Herreshoff made sure that his entire inventory was used and nothing was wasted. By reducing/eliminating waste, Nat preserved the value of his products and increased the efficiency of operation.

Engineering and Construction Management
The Roger Williams University Reliance team is working in cooperation with the Herreshoff Marine Museum in Bristol, RI to create a 1/6th scale model of the 1901 Americas Cup defender, the Reliance. The project can be broken up into two sub-projects. The first, to design a museum-quality cradle to hold the 24ft fully rigged model at a 15O angle. The second sub-project is to perform full strength/structural analysis of all the critical components on the model to ensure that their strength is great enough to withstand the applied forces. This second sub-project is going to be the focus of the …

This study compared the efficacy of a manualized group treatment protocol on God image and attachment to God to a manualized Christian Bible study and a waiting list control group in a sample of undergraduate college students attending a Christian college. Thirty students were randomly assigned to one of the treatment conditions and assessed with measures of God attachment, God image, religious coping, and general spiritual outcomes. It was hypothesized that significant God image and attachment change would occur among the God image treatment group participants only. In addition, it was hypothesized that significant religious coping and spiritual outcome change …

Dragica Rajcic: Writing Women And War In The Margins, Laurel Cohen-Pfister
German Studies Faculty Publications
Croatian-born Dragica Rajcic has received several awards for her poetry and short prose works. The author, who writes in German, permanently resides in Switzerland since fleeing war-torn Croatia in 1991. Rajcic's Heimat, she claims, is in language, not any place defined by geographical boundaries (Rajcic, 2009). Often praised for its sharp irony and cutting insight, Rajcic's language artfully deconstructs the reality it circumscribes. Defiant of the linguistic rules of grammar prescribed by High German, Rajcic's voice revels in its foreignness, in its ability to comment and critique precisely because it stands outside the realm of the familiar and expected. Loving The Questions: Finding Food For The Future Of Theological Education In The Lexington Seminar, Mary E. Hess
Faculty Publications
Although it ran for more than ten years and involved more than 200 faculty from forty-four ATS member schools, the findings of the Lexington Seminar have not been engaged as robustly as they could be in facing current challenges. This essay collates the experiences of the Lexington Seminar with recent educational literature to suggest a range of options in faculty development for meeting the adaptive challenges facing schools, particularly in terms of shifting dynamics of authority, authenticity, and agency.
