Risky Subjects, Subjects At Risk: Hpv Vaccination And The Neoliberal Turn In Public Health, Anzia Bennett Jan 2012

Risky Subjects, Subjects At Risk: Hpv Vaccination And The Neoliberal Turn In Public Health, Anzia Bennett

American Studies ETDs

This thesis utilizes the example of Gardasil to better understand the dynamics of power at play in discourses of health in the United States, and to identify the neoliberal tenors of some contemporary public health strategies. Colonizing Chaco Canyon: Mapping Antiquity In The Territorial Southwest, Berenika Byszewski

American Studies ETDs

Captivated by the stone ruins of Chaco Canyon, Simpson made a side excursion to record and map the structures, and contributed to the way Chaco is interpreted and imagined to this day. In this paper, I follow Lieutenant Simpson's survey party, tracing their "discovery" …

Business Plan For A Benefit Concert, Adam Rosenthal Jan 2012

Business Plan For A Benefit Concert, Adam Rosenthal

Whittier Scholars Program

My main focus in creating this business plan is to map out how to run a schedule of operations. This is the type of business plan that a benefit calls for, instead of creating a business plan for the creation of a new business or venture. My main objective in creating this business plan for a benefit concert is to be able to create something tangible that I can share, as well as share the real world knowledge that I have gained in researching, and putting together this business plan. With this project I have gained real music industry knowledge …
