Introduction. In the study here presented an attempt has been made to gather as many decimas as possible in one source so that they will be easily accessible for future reference and study and to give a few pertinent remarks concerning them.

The material presented in appendix 1 does not represent all of the decimas known in New Mexico, but is probably sufficient in quantity to ensure a sample of all types. Last attempts to obtain additional material resulted in securing only duplicates of decimals already at hand. However there is doubtless other material to be had in remote sections. …

In this thesis I have attempted to trace the dramatic technique of the early comedies of Wiilliam Shakespeare. As a setting for the development of my thesis, "The Technique of Shakespeare's Early Comedies" I have given a brief history of the rise of the Shakespearean drama, showing the relation of the early dramatists to Shakespeare as a writer of comedy, including also a sketch of the Elizabethan theatre. Under the definition of the term technique, I include chiefly a division of his plays into acts and scenes, character drawing, source of plot and treatment of plot.

Yalobusha County was created by an act of the Mississippi State Legislature on December 23, 1833, from territory ceded to the United States Government by the Choctaw and Chickasaw Indians. The county was a perfect square containing twenty-five townships or nine hundred square miles.

The early towns were Hendersonville, Grenada, Preston, Coffeeville, Troy, Sardinia, Graysport and Oakland. These places had their beginning between 1830 and 1838.
