Roberts fears that the Yankees have control of much of Tennessee, as well as Savannah and therefore prospects are not bright for the Confederates.

SUMMARY Emma Owens Stearns began collecting miniature books in the late 19th century and passed her passion for these treasures on to her daughter Virginia Stearns Beede. Virginia continued to add to this collection and passed it on to her daughter Anne Beede Jencks.
