Croatian Radical Separatism And Diaspora Terrorism During The Cold War, Mate Nikola Tokić

Central European Studies

Croatian Radical Separatism and Diaspora Terrorism During the Cold War examines one of the most active but least remembered groups of terrorists of the Cold War: radical anti-Yugoslav Croatian separatists. In Australia alone, Croatian separatists carried out no less than sixty-five significant acts of violence in one ten-year period. Diaspora Croats developed one of …

Proficiency in both languages gave Portuguese authors increased mobility throughout the empire. For those with literary aspirations, Spanish offered more opportunities to publish and greater readership, which may be why it is nearly impossible to find a Portuguese author who did …

Zea E-Books Collection

A compilation of short fiction from Dr. Bev’s ‘Introduction to English Studies’

Throughout history, humankind has gathered together collections of beautiful things, ranging from bottle-caps to coins to seashells or even flowers. No matter the season, humans have devoted hours of their time to admire and share the world’s beauty with those around them. These relationships then become their own collections of the beautiful, friends and family gathering together to appreciate that which they find most lovely, spanning across distance, hardship, and time. Today, we continue to admire the world’s beauty and cherish the love we find there. The word …

COVID-19 Graphic Design: Data Visualization and Information Design

In this project, students were asked to produce 10-by-16-inch digital posters responding to the challenge and stress of the COVID-19 pandemic. After reading Professor Misty Thomas-Trout’s handwritten letter, the students used the design tools Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to highlight positive messages coming from the present circumstances.

“You have one meta-objective with this project: Focus on the positive messages only. If negativity is weaved in or comes across your thoughts, jot this down somewhere. Be aware of that thought, but continue to block it out with positivity.”
