Many questions have been planted in the minds of good Christian people by the myriad of cults which have spread abroad their doctrines At least four of these cults, Spiritism, Adventism, Jehovah's Witnesses, and Modernism are faulty on their teaching of eternal punishment. The problem here presented was: What is the Bible teaching on the future punishment of the wicked?

Most of the major denominations of America are members of the National Council of the Churches of Christ in America. The purpose of this study is to determine the significance of George Fox's concept of the Church for his doctrinal teachings and for his work as a religious leader in seventeenth century England. Literature in the field o early Quakerism, extensive and varied though it is, has neglected formulation of Fox's views on the basis of such a dominant ideal. The present study is based primarily upon the printed, collection of Fox's works. During the Interregnum, England struggled for authority and for unity.
