In approaching the subject of Coleridge's Revolutionary Philosophy, one finds that the scope of the problem necessitates dividing it into different periods. This division is made not for the purpose of classifying Coleridge's ideals within set limitations, but of viewing his philosophy from varying perspectives. Throughout his life, regardless of age, he was a disciple of Liberty. His pursuit of this ideal furnishes the continuity that we seek throughout his political philosophy.

For the sake of a better understanding of the subject for investigation it is necessary to begin with some general remarks regarding "The Book of the Prophet Jeremiah".  In the Hebrew Bible this book bears the simple title "Jeremiah", indicating the subject of the work rather than the author.  As for the author, or rather authors, there are three possibilities: The first possibility is that some, and perhaps most, of the book was written by Baruch at the dictation of Jeremiah.  The second possibility is that parts of the book were written by Jeremiah himself.  The third possibility is that …

In the treatment of the character of Lancelot in the Arthurian romance I have tried to show the different conceptions of each author studied. The first section presents the group of romances dealing with the idea of Lancelot as an individual lover. At first he was merely a knight of prowess; then he becomes the lover of the queen. This association adds to his prestige as an outstanding character.

One of the greatest sources for literary productions during the Middle Ages was the material which dealt with King Arthur and his followers. These heroes were very popular, and the fame of their exploits was wide spread. As early as the eleventh century, the Arthurian stories were current in Italy, and some of the episodes were carved in a cathedral in Modena in the early twelfth century. Many romances filled with the adventures of the knights were written in France, and some of the heroes were popular in Germany.

The purpose of this paper is to give an approximate idea of the extent to which commerce developed between southern Indiana and the South prior to the period beginning with 1850, as well as to show how this mutual interdependence led to the formation of strong economic ties between the two sections.  There is also an attempt made to show that this economic interest strengthened the social ties naturally resulting from the fact that a large percentage of the early settlers of southern Indiana came from beyond the Ohio River.

The purpose of this thesis is to present an account of the various efforts made to encourage the development of agriculture in Indiana from 1820 to 1860 and to alleviate and enlighten the hardships of farming as they existed in the early period of Indiana's statehood.  I wish to emphasize the importance of the achievements of Governor Wright who caused agriculture to be considered by the farmers an honorable and dignified field of endeavor.  Governor Wright was the real champion of the State Fair, the State Board of Agriculture, and of the county societies and fairs in Indiana.

I have chosen the topic, "The Evolution of Schiller's Thought on Freedom and Patriotism", with special reference to "Die Rauber", "Don Carlos", and "Wilhelm Tell", because it seems to me to represent one of the most significant and basic phases of the general philosophy of Germany's greatest dramatist. According to consensus of critical opinion, it was Schiller's ardent love of freedom which motivated practically all of his plays. In the actual world about him, in the society of his times, he found little that seemed to him to make for his ideal of inner harmony.

The general problem of the definition of mysticism may be approached in either of two ways.  We might assemble the elements of all types and method of mysticism, and, by the use of the critical method, arrive thereby at a description and definition of the mystical experience in its most general sense; or we might develop a restricted, specific definition by ignoring certain aspects of that type of experience which might, in a broad, general sense, be called mystical.
