Bachelors’ Theses
This short thesis is offered with the hope of strengthening the belief that there can be no true education without moral training, and that the moral training without the religious is incomplete, and at times even proves baneful. It is incomplete in as much as vices lead to undermine the physical constitution and to blind the intellect, weaken the faculties and harden the heart; baneful, for intellectual development, without morality, may become a snare and a temptation to virtue.

Statistics of the United States Census Bureau show, in the death registration area of the United States during the twelve months of the year 1920, the number of violent deaths, exclusive of suicide, was 68,697.
