Montage was a student-published, bi-weekly newspaper written in the early 1970s. The issue of October 18, 1972 had an article about an open house at the RISD Campus Assistance Center on October 26, 1972. A women's lib multiple choice quiz, RISD Museum news and a game were also in this issue. Events of interest to RISD students and classifieds were also included.

Lovecraft issue, though Spain Rodriguez does a story of his own instead of one of Lovecraft's. Richard Corben illustrates the first story, Lovecraft's "The Rats in the Walls," which is about a man who returns to his ancestral home only to be driven mad by his family's curse. Charles Dallas illustrates a waking nightmare in Lovecraft's poem, "To a Dreamer," while Larry Todd takes on Lovecraft's "The Shadow from the Abyss," in which a man's mind is transposed with another mind …

The purpose of this study was the design, development, and evaluation of a coordinated software-hardware system designed to provide instruction in the basic skills and knowledge required to successfully operate the IBM Selectric Composer. More specifically, the purpose was to develop a software packet designed around the LearningActivity Package concept, and to place these materials in a study carrel with all the necessary equipment including the IBM Composer. The study carrel (hardware), the Learning Activity Packages (software), and the IBM Composer (three dimensional activities) were coordinated into a total instructional system.
