This research consults with the "norm’s life cycle" under international norm dynamics concept to identify and analyze the challenges in establishing an ASEAN Peacekeeping Force. This study argues that the emergent norm of establishing an ASEAN Peacekeeping Force has not yet reached the threshold to transition into the second stage of norm cascade where it is widely embraced by ASEAN member states; and the norm has not reached the stage of norm internalization where it is accepted within the practices of ASEAN. The purpose of this independent_study is to examine Russian motivations for the 2007 cyberattacks on Estonia's critical information infrastructure and the 2015 Ukraine power grid breach. It also analyzes the aftermath and consequences of the attacks, as well as efforts to address the issues. The study found that Russia's primary purpose in cyberattacks is most likely to survive the anarchy of the international system, in which states can never trust each other and must rely on themselves. Malaria vaccine development confronts high genetic polymorphism in some antigenic components of the vaccine candidates, which could potentially limit the vaccine efficacy. An antigen of Plasmodium falciparum, designated glutamic acid-rich protein (PfGARP), has recently been considered as a strong vaccine target against asexual-blood-stages parasite. It has been shown that naturally acquired anti-PfGARP antibodies elicited clinical protection against severe malaria among people living in hyperendemic areas. Furthermore, PfGARP has been involved in binding to human erythrocyte band 3, which induces erythrocyte aggregation and might bring about severe malaria. After the body is invaded by pathogens, it responds by secreting cytokines, for example, interleukin 6 (IL-6), which activates an intracellular signaling pathway involving JAKs/STAT3 through phosphorylation. However, overexpression of pSTAT-3 can lead to a positive feedback loop of IL-6, causing the release of more cytokines and potentially leading to cytokine storm. Thus, inhibition of IL-6 signaling is another important target for Cytokine storm treatment. Tocilizumab, a humanized IL-6R antibody has been approved for RA treatment. The size-dependent effect of nanoplastics (NPLs) restricts the quantification of NPLs by surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) technique. In this study, we successfully established an innovative preparation method to eliminate this effect. This developed SERS method allowed us to quantify 100-, 300-, 600-, and 800-nm polystyrene nanospheres (PSNSs) in diverse aqueous conditions at a low concentration. The SERS substrate was easily fabricated and used as NPLs signal enhancement with sputtering gold particles onto a glass cover slide. By preconcentrating and dissolving PSNSs in toluene, SERS technique can be successfully quantify NPLs at extremely low concentrations with a limit of detection (LOD) …

Macaca fascicularis (long-tailed macaques) occupy a wide habitat range in Southeast Asia and are divided into 10 subspecies. Among the 10 subspecies, M. f. fascicularis (Mff) encompassed the largest distribution, and M. f. aurea (Mfa) was the only Old-World monkey reported using stone as tools to forage encased food. Previous studies indicated the distinctive genetic characteristics between the two subspecies, and Mfa primarily inhabited coastal and estuary habitats to a greater extent than the overall Mff populations. งานวิจัยที่นำเสนอมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อปรับปรุงกระบวนการอนุมัติตัวอย่างสำหรับซัพพลายเออร์และปรับปรุงกระบวนการทำงานของแต่ละหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง เป้าหมายคือลดเวลารอเอกสาร ขจัดกระบวนการทำงานที่ซ้ำซ้อน และลดการใช้กระดาษ จากเดิมกระบวนการทำงานเป็นไปตามลำดับขั้น (Waterfall) ซึ่งแต่ละหน่วยงานต้องรอให้หน่วยงานก่อนหน้าทำงานเสร็จก่อนจึงจะดำเนินการต่อได้ กระบวนการทำงานนี้เกี่ยวข้องกับหน่วยงาน 4 หน่วยงาน และหากพบข้อผิดพลาดใดๆ กระบวนการจะต้องเริ่มต้นใหม่ตั้งแต่ต้น ทำให้มีเวลาเฉลี่ย 18 วันทำการต่อชุด จึงความจำเป็นต้องปรับปรุงกระบวนการเหล่านี้ ผู้วิจัยใช้แนวคิด SCRUM เป็นแนวทางในการปรับปรุงกระบวนการ การนำเฟรมเวิร์กที่คล่องตัวขึ้นมาใช้ ทำให้ทุกหน่วยงานสามารถเริ่มทำงานพร้อมกันได้ ทำให้สามารถแก้ไขปัญหาได้อย่างรวดเร็ว เพิ่มประสิทธิภาพ และความสามารถในการส่งมอบผลิตภัณฑ์ที่มีคุณภาพในขณะที่ตอบสนองต่อความต้องการของลูกค้าได้อย่างทันท่วงที โดยผู้วิจัยได้ศึกษาระบบ Robotic Process Automation (RPA) ที่มีอยู่และจัดทำรายการเอกสาร (Checklist) นำมาใช้ภายในกระบวนการทำงาน ดังนั้นเครื่องมือและเทคโนโลยีเหล่านี้จะช่วยปรับปรุงกระบวนการอนุมัติเร็วขึ้น ระยะเวลาการตรวจสอบลดลงเหลือเพียง 5 วันทำการ ลดการตรวจสอบซ้ำถึง 25% ผลการทดลองที่ได้รับจากการดำเนินการปรับปรุงแสดงให้เห็นถึงประสิทธิภาพในการแก้ไขปัญหาการอนุมัติชิ้นงานตัวอย่างที่ล่าช้าได้ ทำให้ระยะเวลาการตรวจสอบที่สั้นลงและงานตรวจสอบซ้ำที่ลดลง สำเร็จตามเป้าหมายที่ตั้งไว้

การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาองค์ประกอบต่างๆ ที่ทำให้เกิดการการประกอบสร้างอัตลักษณ์ตัวตนจนลิขสิทธิ์กลายมาเป็นสิทธิผูกขาดจนสามารถนำเอามาตรการทางอาญามาปรับใช้กับผู้ละเมิดสิทธิผูกขาดนี้ได้อย่างกลมกลืน ตลอดจนศึกษาองค์ความรู้ด้านอื่นๆ ที่อาจนำมาใช้เพื่อสร้างดุลยภาพในการคุ้มครองลิขสิทธิ์และลดความเป็นอาชญากรรมจากการคุ้มครองลิขสิทธิ์ในสังคมไทยลง โดยใช้วิธีการศึกษาเชิงคุณภาพจากการวิจัยเอกสาร (Documentary Research) การศึกษาและวิเคราะห์วาทกรรม (Discourse Studies and Discourse Analysis) โดยเปรียบเทียบกับข้อมูลเชิงประจักษ์จากกรณีศึกษา ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ความเป็นอาชญากรรมที่เกิดขึ้นจากการคุ้มครองลิขสิทธิ์เป็นผลมาจากแนวคิดสิทธิผูกขาดแห่งลิขสิทธิ์ของประเทศตะวันตกที่ไหลหลากเข้าสู่สังคมไทยเพื่อใช้เป็นเครื่องมือในการแสวงหาประโยชน์ทางเศรษฐกิจในยุคทุนนิยมและบริโภคนิยม สังคมไทยได้ยอมรับนับให้ลิขสิทธิ์ซึ่งเกิดจากภูมิปัญญาของมนุษย์มีค่าเหนือกว่าทรัพย์สินที่เกิดขึ้นตามธรรมชาตินำไปสู่การประกอบสร้างวาทกรรมความเป็นอัตลักษณ์ตัวตนและความสำคัญให้เกิดขึ้น การกระทำใดๆ อันเป็นการล่วงละเมิดสิทธิผูกขาดนี้เป็นการกระทำที่สังคมไม่อาจยอมรับได้ นำไปสู่การนำมาตรการทางอาญามาปรับใช้กับผู้ล่วงละเมิดจนเกิดความเป็นอาชญากรรมอย่างล้นหลามขึ้นในสังคมไทย การเกิดวาทกรรมนี้อาศัยบริบท ปรากฏการณ์ต่างๆ ในสังคมโลกและในสังคมไทย กอปรกับการประกอบสร้างจากมนุษย์โดยตรง ด้วยการใช้มาตรการทางอาญาสร้างความรุนแรง การสร้างความเป็นอื่น การปิดฉลากตีตรา การทำลายผลิตภัณฑ์ที่เกิดจากละเมิด การสร้างความชอบธรรมจากเหตุผลกระตุ้นการสร้างสรรค์และความเจริญทางเศรษฐกิจ ส่วนการกำหนดสร้างนิยามความหมายใหม่ซึ่งเป็นผลจากการแสดงปฏิกริยาตอบโต้ แข็งขืนของผู้ยึดถือวาทกรรมรองนำไปสู่กระบวนการรื้อสร้างใหม่ เพื่อตีแผ่ ขุดคุ้ยเอาสารัตถะองค์ความรู้ ความจริงที่แฝงฝัง ลืมเลือนอยู่ในสังคมไทยในด้านเศรษฐกิจ สังคม เทคโนโลยีการสื่อสารและกติกาสากลออกมาให้ปรากฏ เพื่อนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ในการช่วยสร้างความสอดคล้องกับสังคมไทย สร้างความสมดุลและช่วยลดความเป็นอาชญากรรมที่เกิดขึ้นจากการคุ้มครองลิขสิทธิ์ในสังคมไทย

Pre-university bridging programs can address the significant under-representation of Indigenous students in Australian universities by providing culturally supported alternative pathways into undergraduate study. However, successful completion of bridging programs does not always correlate with university enrolment for Indigenous students. This paper offers a pedagogical rationale for an Indigenous bridging program that aims to address this discrepancy. The program curriculum challenges deficit myths about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians and education, while developing foundational academic skills for university study. Brassinosteroid (BR) plays a complex role in root growth and development by regulating the expression of downstream target genes through the BR signaling pathway. In this scRNA-seq study of Arabidopsis roots, tissue- and developmental-specific roles of BR were identified. Atrichoblast, an epidermal cell that develops into a non-hair cell, displayed the highest enrichment of BR-induced genes in the elongation and maturation zones among all cell types. Trajectory analysis revealed distinct expression patterns of BR biosynthesis and signaling genes between atrichoblasts and trichoblasts. This dissertation presents the classification of different types of cardiac arrhythmias, including Atrial Fibrillation (AF), Normal Sinus Rhythm (NSR), Premature Atrial Contraction (PAC), and Premature Ventricular Contraction (PVC), using a lightweight neural network. A novel ECG data transformation method, referred to as transforming into overlapped ECG images, has been developed and utilized as input images for our neural network. During the transformation process, individual heartbeats within a 30-second time frame are cropped based on heart rate calculations. Banana stem-activated carbon (BSAC) and modified banana stem-activated carbon, containing sulfur, nitrogen, and oxygen-containing groups derived from banana stem, were prepared and studied for Pb(II) ion removal. The materials were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-Ray diffraction, surface area analysis, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. SEM images showed that the materials are porous, and XRD confirmed that the structures are amorphous and resemble the graphitic hexagonal structure of carbon materials. The autoimmune consequences were observed throughout the recovery phase ranging between 10 – 20 % of DRESS patients. The dynamics of regulatory T cells (Tregs) are thought to be responsible for the many symptoms of DRESS. They may be a key player in developing autoimmune sequelae in this syndrome.
