Analysis Of Expression Patterns Of Brassinosteroid-Responsive Genes In Arabidopsis Root Using Single-Cell Rna Sequencing Datasets, Thanaporn Wongkham

Brassinosteroid (BR) plays a complex role in root growth and development by regulating the expression of downstream target genes through the BR signaling pathway. In this scRNA-seq study of Arabidopsis roots, tissue- and developmental-specific roles of BR were identified. Atrichoblast, an epidermal cell that develops into a non-hair cell, displayed the highest enrichment of BR-induced genes in the elongation and maturation zones among all cell types. Trajectory analysis revealed distinct expression patterns of BR biosynthesis and signaling genes between atrichoblasts and trichoblasts. Background: Understanding the animal genome structure and function is pivotal for expanding our current knowledge of evolution, biodiversity, cosmeceutical and medical applications. Each species has a unique characteristic feature. Varanus salvator is a reptile (vertebrate) prevalent in Thailand. It has evolved over millions of years to adapt and survive in urban environments, polluted canals, and garbage dumps. It still survives without noticeable effects. This dissertation presents the classification of different types of cardiac arrhythmias, including Atrial Fibrillation (AF), Normal Sinus Rhythm (NSR), Premature Atrial Contraction (PAC), and Premature Ventricular Contraction (PVC), using a lightweight neural network. A novel ECG data transformation method, referred to as transforming into overlapped ECG images, has been developed and utilized as input images for our neural network. During the transformation process, individual heartbeats within a 30-second time frame are cropped based on heart rate calculations. Banana stem-activated carbon (BSAC) and modified banana stem-activated carbon, containing sulfur, nitrogen, and oxygen-containing groups derived from banana stem, were prepared and studied for Pb(II) ion removal. The materials were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-Ray diffraction, surface area analysis, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. SEM images showed that the materials are porous, and XRD confirmed that the structures are amorphous and resemble the graphitic hexagonal structure of carbon materials. Drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS) is a type of SCARs induced by various drugs. The autoimmune consequences were observed throughout the recovery phase ranging between 10 – 20 % of DRESS patients. The dynamics of regulatory T cells (Tregs) are thought to be responsible for the many symptoms of DRESS. They may be a key player in developing autoimmune sequelae in this syndrome. Phthalate esters (PAEs) have been classified as a priority contaminant due to their endocrine-disrupting properties and abundance in the environment. Previously, several PAE-degrading consortia were enriched from landfill soil. This study aimed to initially select a consortium with efficient degradation activity, to characterize based on degradation kinetics and community dynamics, and to evaluate bioaugmentation feasibility while maintaining activity through continuous transfer. It was obtained based on enriched consortium selection that LF-NK-DEHP could simultaneously degrade 92.9% 100 mg l-1 DBP and 63.4% 100 mg l-1 DEHP within seven days. Lung cancer is a prevalent cause of death, indicated by an elevated c-Myc level. We synthesized a new derivative of renieramycin T (RT), named DH_22, and tested it for anti-cancer activities in human lung cancer cells. In the cell viability and nuclear staining tests, DH_22 was discovered to be cytotoxic, with an IC50 of around 13 μM; and found to mediate apoptosis in the lung cancer cells. Meanwhile, in a mechanistic sense, DH_22 contributed to the activation of p53-dependent apoptosis and decreased the cellular level of c-Myc. Free radicals are unstable, highly reactive, molecules which can cause several degenerative diseases such as mutagenesis and carcinogenesis. This research aims to study the chemical constitutents of Dendrobium virgineum and their antioxidant activity in 3 different test models including DPPH radical scavenging assay, superoxide radical scavenging activity assay and oxygen radical absorbance capacity assay. Nine compounds were isolated and determined to be two new compounds named 2,8-dimethoxy-9,10-dihydro-4,5-phenanthrenediol and 2,5-dimethoxy-7-hydroxy-9,10-dihydro-1,4-phenanthrenequinone, together with seven known compounds, which are 2-methoxy-9,10-dihydro-4,5-phenanthrenediol, gigantol, 5-methoxy-7-hydroxy-9,10-dihydro-1,4-phenanthrenequinone, p-coumaric acid, tristin, 2,5,7-trihydroxy-4-methoxy-9,10-dihydrophenanthrene and 9,10-dihydro-2,4,7-phenanthrenetriol. It is presumed that folk beliefs and traditional folklore have always constituted the spiritual foundation of Vietnamese people in present day society. This study aimed to investigate the effects of co-ingestion of HBCD and dietary nitrate on physiological responses and endurance capacity in recreational endurance runners compared with an isocaloric HBCD beverage, a maltodextrin-dietary nitrate beverage, and a maltodextrin beverage during high-intensity prolong running. Tag classification is essential in Stack Overflow. Instead of combining through pages or replies of irrelevant information, users can easily and quickly pinpoint relevant posts and answers using tags. Since User-submitted posts can have multiple tags, classifying tags in Stack Overflow can be challenging. This results in an imbalance problem between labels in the whole labelset. Pretrained deep learning models with small datasets can improve tag classification accuracy. Common multi-label resampling techniques with machine learning classifiers can also fix this issue. The current study aimed to investigate the different effects of indirect corrective feedback and metalinguistic corrective feedback on Chinese lower-secondary students’ English writing ability and explored students’ opinions towards the two types of feedback in two aspects: students’ preference and students’ understanding. The participants were thirty grade 8 students who studied at a public school in Rizhao City, Shandong Province, China. The instruments for collecting data were pretest, posttests, and interview questions.
