The consequences of turnover in nonprofit organizations can be costly. Grounded in the person-organization fit theory, the purpose of this cross-sectional survey study was to investigate turnover intentions among generational cohorts in nonprofit organizations. The research questions addressed whether differences in turnover intentions existed among generational cohorts and whether job satisfaction and organizational justice perceptions influenced turnover intentions in nonmillennials and millennials working in nonprofit organizations. Survey data were collected from 192 employees from nonprofit organizations. This cross-sectional quantitative study addressed whether self-reported work-family conflict differ significantly between officers on rotating shifts and officers on non-rotating shifts. The study collected primary data through a self-administered survey with closed-ended questions. The theory of work-life balance guided this study by providing an understanding of how individuals experience fulfillment and stress from their roles in family life and their careers. While the voices of Indigenous youth in other parts of the world have been sought out, no studies have specifically focused on the educational experiences of urban Indigenous youth in Canada. This phenomenological study explores the lived experiences of youth-adult relationships among Indigenous youth attending urban high schools in Western Canada. The study was approached from a postcolonial perspective aligning with Native Theory. This position is grounded on the premise that the experiences and stories of participants reveal their lived realities. Periconceptional folate level deficiencies are associated with birth defects of the brain and spinal cord, posing a significant public health problem. In 2009, Black and Hispanic women exhibited lower periconceptual folate levels and higher rates of folate-related birth defects compared with non-Hispanic White women, prior to enactment of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) of 2010. It is not known if improved access to prenatal care under the ACA narrowed the gap in mean periconceptual folate levels between non-Hispanic White, Black, and Hispanic women between 2009 and 2017.
