Organizational leaders in Trinidad and Tobago are ill prepared to manage voluntary employee absenteeism due to the ineffectiveness of traditional approaches to curtailing voluntary employee absenteeism. The lack of consensus on desirable, feasible, and important strategies for minimizing voluntary employee absenteeism in Trinidad and Tobago created a scholarly gap. The purpose of this qualitative modified Delphi study was to determine how a panel of 17 Caribbean and global human resources experts view the desirability, feasibility, and importance of 50 forward-looking strategies in 6 overarching elements for minimizing voluntary employee absenteeism in Trinidad and Tobago. Bullying has grown attention since the Columbine High School shooting; in April, 1999. Throughout the years, there has been an increase in aggressive behaviors including via the Internet across school districts in the United States. Employees who have lower levels of organizational identification (OID) can exhibit negative perceptions of leaders and managers within the organization. Lower levels of OID can lead to adverse employee attitudes and behaviors. Grounded in the social identity theory and spiritual intelligence (SQ) construct, the research questions for this quantitative correlation study were to investigate the relationship between SQ and OID. According to an evaluation completed by the local health department in the state where the project was conducted, patients were not returning to the emergency department (ED) for post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) rabies vaccine as recommended. Three aspects of college student perception of the police covered in this study are effectiveness, fairness, and legitimacy. Endemic Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is one of the leading causes of mortality among American Indian/Alaska Natives (AI/ANs). Trauma and stress have been shown to impact the progression of diabetes that could negatively impact health-related behaviors. Previous studies have not examined the relationship between historical and contemporary trauma and T2DM self-management among AI/AN women. In the United States, cervical cancer disproportionately affects members of ethnic minorities, including immigrant women from Ghana. Overall cervical cancer incidence and mortality rates have declined in the United States due to opportunistic screening with Pap tests; however, rates have not declined for Black women and immigrant women, who continue to experience higher than average mortality rates. Immigrant women, including Ghanaian women, use screening less than nonimmigrant women. Third-grade reading scores on some U.S. state tests revealed that children who attended a state-funded preschool program were not proficient readers. Reading gains made in preschool faded by the time the children reached third grade.
