The diamondback terrapin ( Malaclemys terrapin ) is the only exclusively estuarine turtle. Terrapins live in coastal mangroves and salt marshes ranging from Massachusetts to Texas. While previous studies have documented the diet of terrapins in temperate salt marshes, the diet of the Florida East Coast terrapin subspecies ( M. terrapin tequesta) living in mangrove habitats is largely unknown. Other diamondback subspecies feed on a variety of prey categories, with plants, gastropods, and bivalves being the most dominant, depending on the subspecies. As an interdisciplinary endeavor, the study of consciousness is informed by a variety of scholarly perspectives that, when integrated, deepen our understanding of consciousness as a functional system of semiotic communication. This thesis explores linguistic behavior as a manifestation of collective consciousness via the incorporation of theory from psychology, sociology, and philosophy into an analytical framework for studying consciousness. Using this analytical framework, I present an analysis of patterns of linguistic behavior from online religious communitas on reddit.com. The relationship between history and social science generally, as well as history and criminology specifically, has long been considered problematic. But, since the likes of Burke (1992) and King (1999) spoke of a ‘dialogue of the deaf’, crime history has rapidly expanded and, more latterly, historical criminology has begun to emerge. This article reappraises the relationship of the subject areas by considering the impact that historical research has had on criminology. Although the impact is found to be somewhat patchy, the article identifies positive signs within the two fields that might point towards a more mutually-enriching future.

Using the Science Citation Index-Expanded of the Web of Science Core Collection, we analyzed global saffron research literature published between 1991 and 2017. The variables examined were research performance of nations, institutions, and authors. The study noted that the distribution of author keywords, citations, and publication patterns of saffron related articles to ascertain the research inclinations. The highly cited articles and author keyword analysis showed that the chemical and biochemical qualities of saffron were of key interest for the researchers.

This study examined faculty views and perceptions of the library and information science (LIS) programs of the six member nations of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in enhancing academic quality using formal assessment. Two focus groups were held in Kuwait and Muscat. In each focus group, nine participants discussed opportunities, practices, possibilities, and mechanics of assessment and assessment-based systems. It was found that these schools were active in assessment, as CILIP conducted extensive assessment in two programs, resulting in accreditation. The e-journal facility introduced in Burdwan University for its scholars is known as INFLIBNET which is under the e-sodhsindhu consortium. INFLIBNET e-journal provides with high quality content among University libraries. This study shows the popularity of e-journal with the help of INFISTATS in the optional usage period during 2015-2019. JSTOR had the maximum usage (26.8%) of total download over the period 2015-2019. 7 of the top listed e-journals had the highest percentage of use (86.33%) proving that the popularity of e-journals is in growing use in the University of Burdwan.
