The increasing prevalence of mental health issues among college students is a critical concern. Disorders such as depression and anxiety are becoming more common, with depression notably a major risk factor for suicide—the second leading cause of death in this age group. Despite this troubling trend, significant barriers to accessing mental health services remain. The Eurocentric and male narrative of the anti-colonial struggle in Africa during the twentieth century marginalized women’s contributions and presented them as passive victims of colonialism. Therefore, this study offers a more comprehensive historical account of women's leadership in Africa and a more inclusive and liberated narrative of the anti-colonial movement. Achieving this goal involves delving into the roles and contributions of two prominent female figures in the anti-colonial resistance in Northern and Sub-Saharan Africa during the twentieth century: Huda Shaarawi from Egypt and Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti from Nigeria. Jürgen Habermas (b. 1929) and Charles Taylor (b. 1931) are two of the most important philosophers of the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Throughout their lengthy bodies of work, spanning from the 1960s and continuing today, they were frequent interlocutors, and often responded to one another’s theories and arguments. They also engaged in direct debates in edited volumes to which they both contributed, including Communicative Action: Essays on Jürgen Habermas's The Theory of Communicative Action (1991), Multiculturalism (1994), and The Power of Religion in the Public Square (2011). Increase Card Acceptance In Under-Penetrated Segments: Changing Customer Payment Behavior With Reinforcement Learning, Gen Ai Reasoning, And Card Community Analysis, Nagraj Naidu Mr, Shruti Gupta Ms

The present disclosure provides a method for behavioral prediction of a cardholder, performed by an artificial intelligence (AI) agent utilizing reinforcement learning in conjunction with a Markov Decision Process (MDP) framework. A Language Learning Model (LLM) acquires state and transition probabilities from an analytical processing unit. The LLM accesses historical interaction data and feedback records from a specialized vector database. The LLM analyzes and assimilates historical information retained within the vector database. The LLM implements cognitive algorithms predicated on defined contextual parameters with the aim of developing a personalized card usage strategy. The LLM orchestrates a sequence of interactive prompts.

This study analyses the situation of child labour in coastal and marine activities in Zanzibar, Tanzania, by examining activities carried out by children, the major driving factors for engaging in child labour, as well as the associated impacts to children’s schooling and wellbeing. Questionnaire survey, focus group discussions (FGDs), participant observations, and key informant interviews (KII) were all used to collect data for the study. The study involved a total of 90 children, who were randomly selected among working children in coastal and marine activities. This dissertation is a study on the epistemological theory of divine illumination in the works of Meister Eckhart (c. 1260 - 1329 CE). Illumination, first asserted by St. Augustine, is the theory that the human intellect is incapable of achieving epistemic certainty regarding what it sensorily receives. To gain this certainty, the mind is reliant upon illumination, wherein the sensed object is known by the mind through the light of that object's divine idea, which also serves as its ontological principle. This bibliometric study investigates global research trends on phonological awareness in second language learning (SLL) among pre-primary school children from 2014 to 2023. The study utilizes data from the Dimensions database, and is guided by three objectives: analysing publication volume trends, identifying leading contributors (countries, institutions, authors, journals), and mapping dominant research themes. It employs the VOSviewer—a software tool for constructing and visualizing bibliometric networks—to conduct co-authorship, co-citation, and keyword co-occurrence analyses. This paper examines the intonation systems of content and yes-no questions in Cinyambwa, a dialect of Cigogo Bantu language (G.11 in Guthrie’s classification). The study investigates the intonation patterns of different questions to show how content questions are differentiated from yes-no questions prosodically. The study was conducted in Makutopora village, Manyoni district, Singida region, Tanzania. Data were obtained from a sample of four (4) Cinyambwa speakers who were purposely selected. It focuses on how the industry responded to local and global socio-economic and political dynamics from the colonial period in the 1900s through 2020. The war in Ukraine has major implications for the world's agricultural and food markets, as the Black Sea region is a large supplier of crops and fertilizers. Impacts of the war are further exacerbated by the sanctions against Russia, spillover effects from disruptions of other commodity markets, adverse weather events and domestic policies that countries around the world have implemented in pursuit of food security. Drawing on Bourdieu’s (1986) framework of embodied, objectified and institutionalised capital, this paper explores how technological universities (TUs) support the development of students’ cultural capital through active learning approaches. The formation of technological universities in Ireland marked a notable shift in the higher education landscape, with an emphasis on these institutions meeting the regional and economic needs of the location in which they operate. This inquiry seeks to establish that although in his writings Karl Marx emphasized “Universal Welfare” as a central ideal, its appearance and realization in the Soviet Union was affected by tensions between ideology and the realities of centralized economic control. The first section explores Marx’s vision of universal welfare as a structural component of a post-capitalist society rooted in collective ownership and human emancipation. The rise of generative models and affordable video editing tools has fueled the spread of fake and manipulated videos, undermining information reliabilityespecially on social media. Traditional detection methods, focused on single modalities like visual artifacts or text cues, often struggle with diverse, user-generated content. This dissertation presents a unified framework for fake video detection that integrates multimodal semantics, narrative structure, and propagation behavior. Outer space is becoming increasingly contested and existing approaches to identifying prohibited force in outer space lack a systematic foundation, hindering their application to novel challenges such as temporary interference with critical satellites or threats involving commercial space actors. This article addresses this gap by developing the first comprehensive, multifactorial legal framework for identifying a prohibited use of force in outer space. This framework provides a structured method for analyzing non-kinetic actions, temporary effects, and persistent hazards like space debris. Black Americans face significant barriers to psychiatric services including a lack of access to culturally competent care. Mental illnesses continue to be the leading causes of disability in the United States. This qualitative phenomenological study, guided by the health belief model, explored the experiences of Black women in Black colleges who voluntarily seek psychiatric services.
