This research analyzes selected passages in Deuteronomy-Kings in order to determine the characteristics and roles of supernatural sub-divine beings within these books. Then this data is compared with the angelology of the Second Temple period in order to identify the similarities and the extent of the differences between them.

Deuteronomy contains references to supernatural sub-divine beings, such as “demons” and “holy one(s)”. While Deuteronomy affirms the existence of sub-divine beings, it forbids the Israelites to worship them. In the books of Joshua and Judges, there is awareness of supernatural beings and their roles as warriors, messengers, and tormentors. However, in …

Seventeen years ago, Redmond reviewed five standardized behavioral rating scales and identified several aspects of their design that made them prone to mischaracterize language impairments as socioemotional behavioral disorders. The purpose of this report is to provide an update and extension of the original audit. We consulted test manuals to evaluate: (1) representation of children with language impairments in their standardization samples; (2) presence of language, or academic items within their inventories; (3) accommodations for administering the measure to children with language impairments; and (4) procedures for identifying inordinately punitive ratings. International Student Support Groups: Learning From Experienced Group Members And Leaders, Nathan` Page, Mark Beecher, Derek Griner, Timothy B. Smith, Aaron Jackson, Klint Hobbs

Adjustment to college can be particularly difficult for international students. A multi-site qualitative study investigated the experiences of six group leaders and 10 group members who participated in seven different university counseling center international student support groups. Analyses of interview data using hermeneutic interpretation resulted in nine major themes and ten sub-themes organized into four sections: (1) Recruitment and group design, (2) Experiences of group members, (3) Experiences of group leaders, and (4) Additional considerations. College and university counseling centers can effectively work with international students by providing outreach and support groups.

The Affordable Care Act's State Innovation waiver allows federal agencies to suspend the most controversial parts of the statute for states to pursue alternative paths, while keeping the federal funding provided by the statute. This "big waiver" provision has the potential to enable states to pursue transformative health reforms, while preserving the affordability and universal coverage aims of the federal statute. Big waivers like this one carry theoretical promise, which largely depends on the strength of the federal statute's baseline infrastructure. Although Escherichia coli (E. coli)is a harmless gut microbe in man, some strains of this bacterium are pathogenic due to the acquisition of virulence factors. The aim of this study isto investigate E. coli O157:H7 strains isolated from Ogun River, Abeokuta metropolis, for virulence factors and antibiotic resistance. Water samples were collected bimonthly from six different locations over a period of six months. The samples were cultured on Sorbitol MacConkey Agar and E. coli O157:H7 isolates were confirmed through serological characterization using the latex agglutination test. This mixed-methodresearch examines errorsin the useof Spanish verb formsto expressfuturity. The sample consists of 74 Thai university undergraduate students (2nd, 3rdand 4thyear) majoring in Spanish attheFaculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University. ContrastiveAnalysis (CA) and ErrorAnalysis (EA) are themain theoretical frameworksused to account for various errors found in the students'essays andclozetest. The errors detected are presented statistically toshowtheirfrequencies and to identify their causes. The objectives of this quantitative phenomenology study were: (1) to synthesize literature relevant to an open instructional design to enhance creative problem solving ability; (2) to study veterans’ experience-based opinions towards the open instructional design model; and (3) to apply the open instructional design as the guideline. งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษากรอบแนวคิดการพัฒนาคุณลักษณะผู้ประกอบการของ นักศึกษาวิทยาลัยอาชีวศึกษาและคุณลักษณะผู้ประกอบการของนักศึกษา และ 2) ศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบัน และสภาพที่พึงประสงค์ของการบริหารวิชาการของวิทยาลัยอาชีวศึกษาตามแนวคิดการพัฒนาคุณลักษณะ ผู้ประกอบการของนักศึกษา เป็นการวิจัยเชิงบรรยาย กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นสถานศึกษาอาชีวศึกษาในสังกัดของ สำนักงานคณะกรรมการการอาชีวศึกษา 141 แห่ง ผู้ให้ข้อมูลแห่งละ 3 คน ได้แก่ ผู้อำนวยการ ครู และ นักศึกษา รวมผู้ให้ข้อมูลทั้งสิ้น 423 คน เครื่องมือวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบประเมินกรอบแนวคิด และแบบสอบถาม และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ค่าเฉลี่ยและส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) กรอบแนวคิดการพัฒนาคุณลักษณะผู้ประกอบการของนักศึกษาวิทยาลัย อาชีวศึกษาประกอบด้วยการจัดการเรียนและปฏิบัติ 3 ระยะต่อเนื่อง แต่ละระยะมีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อพัฒนา คุณลักษณะผู้ประกอบการของนักศึกษาและมีวิธีการเรียนการสอน 6 วิธี และคุณลักษณะผู้ประกอบการ ของนักศึกษา 4 ประการ 2) ค่าเฉลี่ยของสภาพปัจจุบันและสภาพที่พึงประสงค์ของการบริหารวิชาการของ วิทยาลัยอาชีวศึกษาในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก และค่าเฉลี่ย โดยรวมของสภาพที่พึงประสงค์สูงกว่าค่าเฉลี่ย โดยรวมของสภาพปัจจุบันในทุกด้าน

วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัยนี้ คือ 1) ศึกษาสภาพการจัดการเรียนรู้สะเต็มศึกษาเพื่อส่งเสริม ความคิดสร้างสรรค์และความคิดผลิตภาพ 2) พัฒนาหลักสูตรเสริมสะเต็มศึกษาเพื่อส่งเสริมความคิด สร้างสรรค์และความคิดผลิตภาพ และ 3) ประเมินผลการใช้หลักสูตร โดยมีการดำเนินการ 4 ขั้นตอน คือ 1) ศึกษาสภาพการจัดการเรียนรู้สะเต็มศึกษาเพื่อส่งเสริมความคิดสร้างสรรค์และความคิดผลิตภาพ 2) พัฒนาหลักสูตร 3) ทดลองใช้ และ 4) ประเมินผล กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักเรียนประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 โรงเรียน อนุบาลปราณี อ.ด่านช้าง จ.สุพรรณบุรี ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2560 จำนวน 48 คน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) สภาพการจัดการเรียนรู้สะเต็มศึกษาเพื่อส่งเสริมความคิดสร้างสรรค์และความคิดผลิตภาพ มีการจัดดำเนินการน้อย แนวทางการพัฒนาการจัดการศึกษาไทยควรปรับเปลี่ยนหลักสูตรและการสอน ให้สอดคล้องกับเป้าหมาย 2) หลักสูตรเสริมนี้พัฒนาขึ้นตามแนวคิดสะเต็มศึกษามีองค์ประกอบดังนี้ (1) จุดมุ่งหมาย (2) สาระการเรียนรู้ (3) การนำไปใช้ (4) การวัดประเมินผล กระบวนการจัดการเรียนรู้ 6 ส. ที่นำไปสู่ การพัฒนาความคิดสร้างสรรค์และความคิดผลิตภาพประกอบด้วย (1) สร้างความสงสัย (2) สืบเสาะความรู้ (3) สังเคราะห์ความรู้ (4) สร้างสรรค์ผลงาน (5) สรุปความรู้ และ (6) เสนอผลงาน ผลการประเมินคุณภาพ ของหลักสูตรและแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ มีค่าเฉลี่ยระดับคุณภาพอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุดและมากตามลำดับ 3) ประเมินผลการใช้หลักสูตรพบว่านักเรียนมีความคิดสร้างสรรค์และความคิดผลิตภาพสูงกว่า ก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05

โมเดลเชิงสาเหตุของการออกกลางคันของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์, พงศ์พันธุ์ คำพรรณ์, จีรเกียรติ อภิบุณโยภาส

การศึกษาโมเดลเชิงสาเหตุของการออกกลางคันของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาอิทธิพลของสถานะทางเศรษฐกิจ การบูรณาการทางวิชาการ การบูรณาการทาง สังคม ความผูกพันกับเป้าประสงค์และความผูกพันกับสถาบันที่มีต่อการออกกลางคันของนักศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ กรอบแนวคิดในการวิจัยพัฒนาจากทฤษฎีปฏิกิริยาตอบโต้ของทินโตและงานวิจัย ที่เกี่ยวข้อง เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามเก็บข้อมูลจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 380 ตัวอย่าง วิเคราะห์ข้อมูล โดยใช้โมเดลเชิงสาเหตุด้วยโปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์ผลการศึกษาจากโมเดลเชิงสาเหตุ พบว่า การออกกลางคัน มีความสอดคล้องกับข้อมูลเชิงประจักษ์ (?2 = 217.98, df = 40, p-value = 0.09, GFI = 0.90; AGFI = 0.83; SRMS = 0.03; RMSEA = 0.05) ตัวแปรแฝงด้านสถานะทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคม การบูรณาการทาง วิชาการ การบูรณาการทางสังคม ความผูกพันกับเป้าประสงค์และความผูกพันกับสถาบันมีอิทธิพลทางตรง ต่อในทิศทางตรงข้ามกับการออกกลางคันของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ .05 ข้อเสนอแนะเพื่อแก้ปัญหาการออกกลางคันของนักศึกษา ได้แก่ (1) พัฒนาสภาพแวดล้อมและสิ่งอำนวย ความสะดวกในมหาวิทยาลัย (2) สนับสนุนทุนการศึกษาและการสร้างรายได้เสริมให้กับนักศึกษา (3) การรับนักศึกษาต้องเน้นที่คุณภาพและมีการสอนเสริมในกลุ่มที่มีความต้องการเป็นพิเศษ (4) สร้าง แรงจูงใจและสร้างเป้าหมายในชีวิตให้แก่นักศึกษา (5) มีการฝึกอบรมอาจารย์ให้เป็นที่ปรึกษามืออาชีพ

รูปแบบการบริหารแบบมีส่วนร่วมเพื่อสนับสนุนการพัฒนาหลักสูตรบูรณาการการดํารงตนให้เป็นพลเมืองดีของโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษา สังกัดสํานักงานคณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน, พัชรา จันทรัตน์, วีระวัฒน์ อุทัยรัตน์

การวิจัยนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาองค์ประกอบการบริหารแบบมีส่วนร่วมเพื่อสนับสนุน การพัฒนาหลักสูตรบูรณาการการดำรงตนให้เป็นพลเมืองดีของโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษา สังกัดสำนักงาน คณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน 2) กำหนดรูปแบบการบริหารแบบมีส่วนร่วมเพื่อสนับสนุน การพัฒนาหลักสูตรบูรณาการฯ และ 3) ประเมินรูปแบบการบริหารแบบมีส่วนร่วมเพื่อสนับสนุนการพัฒนา หลักสูตรบูรณาการฯ โดยมีกลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ คณะกรรมการสถานศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐานของโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษา สังกัดสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน จำนวนสถานศึกษาละ 9-15 คน รวม 377 โรงเรียน ภายใต้รูปแบบการวิจัยแบบผสมวิธีที่ประกอบด้วยการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณและการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) องค์ประกอบการบริหารแบบมีส่วนร่วมเพื่อสนับสนุนการพัฒนาหลักสูตร บูรณาการฯ มี 3 องค์ประกอบหลัก ได้แก่ สร้างสรรค์การวิเคราะห์มาตรฐาน ส่งเสริมการพัฒนาและ การสื่อสาร สืบสานการดำรงตนให้เป็นพลเมืองดี รวมทั้งหมด 22 องค์ประกอบย่อย 2) รูปแบบการบริหาร แบบมีส่วนร่วมเพื่อสนับสนุนการพัฒนาหลักสูตรบูรณาการฯ ประกอบด้วยจุดเน้น วัตถุประสงค์ กระบวนการ และวิธีการเกี่ยวกับการดำเนินการจัดทำหลักสูตร ได้แก่ การสร้างสรรค์การวิเคราะห์มาตรฐาน การส่งเสริม การพัฒนาและการสื่อสาร และการสืบสานการดำรงตนให้เป็นพลเมืองดีภายใต้การเข้ามามีหน้าที่และ รับผิดชอบต่อกระบวนการจัดการศึกษาของคณะกรรมการสถานศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน 3) รูปแบบการบริหาร แบบมีส่วนร่วมเพื่อสนับสนุนการพัฒนาหลักสูตรบูรณาการฯ มีความถูกต้อง ความเป็นไปได้ และความเป็น ประโยชน์ในระดับมากที่สุด เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายข้อ พบว่ามีความถูกต้อง ความเป็นไปได้ และความเป็น ประโยชน์ในระดับมากที่สุดทุกข้อ
