Biofuels have become an attractive alternative to replace fossil fuels as a clean and renewable source of energy. The six- and five-carbon sugars contained in lignocellulosic plant biomass is the largest carbohydrate source in the world, and a key feedstock for sustainable biofuel production. This paperillustrates a program to plan a green patch of Ciliwung river landscape througha participatory process involving the community in Condet, East Jakarta. It isbelieved that native knowledge of the river and the riparian, which can only berevealed by the locals, becomes significant to understanding the dynamics ofthe place and to generating a masterplan. Through interviews, focus groupdiscussion and participatory mapping, their everyday experience in utilizingthe landscape can be recognized. This article presents a framework of transformational community engagement strategy which has been implemented by Dharma Bhakti Astra Foundation (YDBA). It discusses the process under which a large company institutionalizes its CSR strategy, policy and actions in developing small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Since 1980 the company has strengthened the capacity of 10,374 SMEs which created 65,855 jobs by 2017. In Indonesia, sites for TPA (landfills) as final waste dumping are still inlimited supply. Meanwhile, the amount of recycled waste is still low due to thelack of awareness about how to sort household waste. The citizens’participation activity for this study aimed to increase awareness about how tosort household waste by involving the stakeholders. In response to the demands of a changing educational system in the Philippines,this study sought to improve learning performance and faculty developmentthrough professional learning community engagement using a research lessonframework, a Japanese approach to professional development. The purpose is toidentify how effective research lessons and community engagement can be inimproving the quality of teacher and student performance. Using a narrativeinquiry approach within a research lesson framework with four classes of SocialDimensions of Education and pre-service teachers, the study results netted arich exchange of ideas, engaged student and teacher performance, anddeconstructed the privacy of lesson planning.

Based on WHO data, Indonesia has the third largest leprosy burden in the world, afterIndia and Brazil. This article examines the dynamics of political participation on the ‘We Are All Khaled Said’ Facebook page, which hosted the call for Egypt’s 25 January 2011 revolution. It shows that the page served as a proto-democratic instrument by introducing both qualitative and quantitative polls and following up with actions based on majority opinion. This argument is developed through an analysis of discussion threads and polls from the page, selected from a data set of 14,072 posts, 6,810,357 comments and 32,030,731 likes made by 1,892,118 users, extracted via a customized version of Netvizz. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of personal tenure between Audit Partner and Client CEO on firm’s likelihood to do upward earnings management. Using non financial firms listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2012 – 2014, this study finds that personal tenure between Audit Partner and Client CEO have significant positive influence on firms’ likelihood to do upward earnings management and downward forecast guidance. The results of this study indicate that personal tenure positively influences both mechanisms of avoiding negative earnings surprises. This research examines the extent to which the rationalization tactics model reflects the relation between magnitude of corruption and attitudes toward corruption. The rationalization model predicts that individuals will justify their corrupt acts and that rationalizations will affect subsequent offense depending upon the levels of internal control quality. Using a 2 X 2 between-subjects experiment with 170 public servants as participants, this research finds that individuals are more prone to accept and rationalize their corrupt acts in the gratuities context than in the bribery context. This development research aims (1) to produce instructional material to write a text of report on observations that are feasible in terms of content by covering aspects of identifying and constructing the text of the observation report and (2) testing the effectiveness of teaching materials to write the text of the observation report. The research-development method was adapted from Borg and Gall's model. Product feasibility test results are include 82% content, 82% systematic presentation, 83% language feasibility, and 85% display feasibility. The results of the test of the effectiveness of the product are known p = 0.000 (p <0.01). Thus the product has a significant influence on the learning result of report on observation text writing.

One of the mathematisation processes in Realistic Mathematics Education is horizontal mathematisation. Using a qualitative approach, this research describes the horizontal mathematisation ability of grade 4 elementary school students in solving problem-solving questions on positive integers. The result of this research shows that there is a relationship between students' mathematical abilities and their horizontal mathematisation abilities. Students with moderate ability levels have moderate horizontal mathematisation abilities and students with high levels of ability have high horizontal mathematisation abilities.

This research was aimed to develop learning media in the form of educational games on computers and basic networks subject with Teams Game Tournament model at SMK Negeri 12 Malang. To develop the learning media, used Sadiman methods and LORI as assessment instruments. The results of this research indicate that the results of the material expert validation was 88.6%, media expert validation was 91.85%, and students was 91.33%. The media is declared valid and feasible as a learning media. This article discusses the product and development process, and the test results to assess the feasibility of the product.

This study investigated the effects of selenized DC sputtered precursor stacking orders on the structural, electrical and optical properties of copper zinc tin selenide (CZTSe) absorber layer for thin film solar cells. The precursors were deposited sequentially on the soda lime glass substrate at room temperature by DC magnetron sputtering. The precursors were selenized by annealing in an atmosphere containing selenium pellets and nitrogen gas. The structural, morphological, optical and electrical properties were respectively characterized using X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD), atomic force microscopy (AFM), UV/VIS/NIR lambda 9/19 spectrophotometer, Hall Effect measurement system (HMS 3000) and a four point probe system. CZTS thin films were deposited by sol–gel spin coating method using precursor solutions prepared by dissolving copper acetate dihydrate, zinc acetate dihydrate, tin chloride and thiourea in methanol and monoethylamine then annealed in RTP furnace at 500 °C. Sol–gel precursor solutions were prepared with different Zn/Sn in a precursor solution and were annealed at different time intervals; and their effects on the optical and electrical properties of CZTS (Cu2ZnSnS4) films were investigated. Chalcogenide system of antimony (Sb)-selenium (Se)-zinc (Zn) system is a promising semiconductor for phase change memory devices due to its thermal stability and low power consumption. The study investigated the effect of film thickness and zinc content on the optical properties of thermally evaporated Sb10Se90-xZnx (x = 0, 5, 10 & 15 at. %) thin films. It was found that transmittance (T~ 85-40%) and optical band gap energy (Eopt ~ 1.60 eV – 1.22 eV) decreased but absorption coefficient (α~0.840–2.031 104 cm–1) increased with increase in zinc content. A highly structured eta solar cell of the type TiO2/In(OH)xSy/Pb(OH)xSy/PEDOT:PSS/Au with different layer thickness has been fabricated using various deposition techniques for each layer in the stack. The solar cell parameters, Uoc, FF and  have been extracted from current- voltage characteristics measurements. The buffer layer and the hole collector layer have been kept constant while the window and the absorber layer have been varied. In this study, electrophoretic deposition (EPD) technique was used to deposit titanium dioxide (TiO2) thin films on conducting glass substrates for application in photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants in water. Phenol was used as a model pollutant. The EPD suspension related parameters and deposition conditions were first optimized for good quality film deposits.
