The paper aims to propose the remarks on the uses of question words in Thai in the current time. Not only do theyfunction as a request for information from the addressees, they are also used to indicate other intentions of the speakers, which are considered pragmatically as indirect speech acts. Poetic egotism, defined as confidence of poets' self or works, probably appears in Sanskritliterature since Itihāsaperiod. The concept has previously been focused on works themselves and later on that relating to poet's self since Subandhu, a Sanskrit poet in 6thcentury. Amongst Sanskritpoets, Banashows his own egotism remarkably. This research studies different types of sentence structures regarded as hindrances to an understanding of English poetry amongThai students, especially beginners, and suggests teaching activities to help reduce such problems. The sentence structures hypothesized to present obstacles are syntactic classes, pronoun references, inversion, coordination of noun phrases, verb phrases and adverb-like phrases, and phrasal and clausal modifiers as interrupting modifiers. The researchers designed questions to check the aforementioned grammar points, using three selected poems: Robert Frost's "Out, Out - ," Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's "The Cross of Snow," and Dudley Randall's "Ballad of Birmingham." Speech rhythm is one of the significant prosodic features in language. It refers to rhythmic patterns of utterances which occur at regular intervals of time. The objectives of the present study are twofold. First, it examinesthe structure of the speech rhythm in Luang Phrabang Lao,applying both the Isochrony (ISO) method and the Rhythmic Metrics (RM)method. Second, both the ISO and the RM methods arecompared to investigate their reliability and validity. Background: The Rotterdam Score (RS) on CT head is a new evolving clinical tool as a predictor of mortality in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). The objective of this study is to assess the outcome of children with TBI admitted in paediatric intensive care unit (PICU) of a tertiary-care, university hospital by using RS.

Background: Benefits of pneumococcal conjugate vaccine programs have been linked to the vaccine’s ability to disrupt nasopharyngeal carriage and transmission. The 10-valent pneumococcal vaccine (PCV10) was included in the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) in Sindh, Pakistan in February 2013. This study was carried out immediately before PCV10 introduction to establish baseline pneumococcal carriage and prevalent serotypes in young children and to determine if carriage differed in urban and rural communities.
