The Validity And Reliability Of The Patient Health Questionnaire 9 In Screening Poststroke Depression, Piyapat Dajpratham

Chulalongkorn University Theses and Dissertations (Chula ETD)

Background: Poststroke depression occurred about 30% during the first five years after stroke. Timely diagnosis and management could facilitate motor recovery and improve independence. The Patient Health Questionnaire 9 (PHQ-9) is one of the best screening tools for poststroke depression. Since specific screening tool has not yet presented in Thailand, the validity and reliability of the PHQ-9 in stroke patients is clinically essential. Objectives: To study the criterion validity and reliability of the PHQ-9 (Thai version) in screening poststroke depression by comparing to the psychiatric interview as the gold standard. Material and Methods: First ever stroke patients age 45 years …

Chulalongkorn University Theses and Dissertations (Chula ETD)

OBJECTIVES: The objective of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of quantitative assessment of radionuclide myocardial perfusion imaging in indicating significant coronary artery stenosis. METHODS: Seven hundred and twenty patients with suspicion of coronary artery disease were retrospectively identified. All of them had undergone cardiac catheterization within the 6-month period after having one-day pharmacologic stress radionuclide myocardial perfusion scan. Important parameters were analyzed including myocardial perfusion, wall motion, wall thickening severity scores of 3 coronary artery territories and left ventricular ejection fraction values. These parameters were subsequently compared with the results of gold standard cardiac catheterization. RESULTS: Binary logistic …

Effects Of Surfactants And Thickness Of Carbon Nanotube Film On Conductive Property For Touch Screen, Thimaporn Channarong

Chulalongkorn University Theses and Dissertations (Chula ETD)

Conductive transparent film technology has been developed extensively for electronic industry such as touch panel and so on. In this study, single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) was chosen to disperse in acrylic resin and homogenized by surfactant. The dispersion of SWNCT is one of the key factors that strongly influences the properties of these products. Thus Hydrocarbon and Silicone surfactant types were compared. The wire-bar coating technique was used to produce a conductive film PET base. Our objectives were to study the effects of surfactants and thickness of SWCNT film on conductivity and transparency. Surfactant concentration was varied 0.1 – 2.0 …

Periodic-Review Order Policy For A Two-Echelon Inventory Problem With Seasonal Demand, Noppadon Sakulsom Jan 2018

Periodic-Review Order Policy For A Two-Echelon Inventory Problem With Seasonal Demand, Noppadon Sakulsom

Chulalongkorn University Theses and Dissertations (Chula ETD)

This dissertation presents methodologies to determine ordering policies for a 2-echelon inventory system with multiple replenishing modes under seasonal demand. The system operates on periodic review basis using reorder point and order-up-to point or (R,s,S). An Echelon stock concept is applied where each location makes decisions on its own inventory information and the information of all locations downstream. We decompose a problem into two phases and propose a methodology based on mixed-integer programming models to determine ordering policies for a system with one replenishing mode. Then, another methodology based on the genetic algorithm and binary search is developed to solve …

Designing Modular Fixture For Automotive Condenser Inspection, Tanest Lertkajornkitti Jan 2018

Designing Modular Fixture For Automotive Condenser Inspection, Tanest Lertkajornkitti

Chulalongkorn University Theses and Dissertations (Chula ETD)

In the automotive component manufacturing industry, the automotive parts must be produced with high precision according to the standard. And, to achieve such a goal, inspection fixtures are typically used as final inspection tools. These fixtures are highly specialized that often match only one stock-keeping unit of the condenser (SKU) each. Based on such a fact, as the number of SKUs rises, the number of fixtures produced would be inevitably increased, along with the resources required for fixture production, storage space, and maintenance. In order to address such issues, we explore and develop a new fixture design that turns specialized …
