The subsidy program of cooking oil for underprivileged households in Depok Municipality consists of two liters cooking oil per each underprivileged household with subsidy value of IDR 2.500 per liter. This research is qualitative, descriptive, and interpretive. The purpose of this research is to describe the problems which emerged in the implementation stage of cooking oil subsidy program in Depok Municipality. The research aimed to construct the scenario of sub-national government administration in Indonesia and its available alternatives. The approach used was qualitative approach with the method of focus group discussion (FGD) and in-depth interview with economic and social politicians and bureaucrats. In addition secondary data were used to support the result. Two scenarios of the environment of Indonesian sub-national administration for 2025 are gained from two FGDs: the Utopian Scenario and Tumble into the Gutter Scenario. This writing is to parse the context of history from Antonio Gramsci’s thoughts regarding the concept of hegemony and positioning that approach in the realm of anthropological studies. The author wants to position Gramsci's argument by outlining the opinions of the theory interpreters and explaining social and political context from the influences of Marxism and communism on Gramsci's thinking. The fundamental concept of Gramschi’s thinking according to the auhor has influenced how post-1970s anthropology conceptualizes ideology, consent and hegemony as key issues that make the concept of culture become more operational in discussing matters of power.

Both were perceived as separate genre, even modern music often downplayed traditional one. This article examines a dispute over proper religious practice in an all-Muslim village in Buton, Southeast Sulawesi. Traditionalists and modernists disagree over whether agricultural ceremonies involving offerings for territorial spirits should be allowed to continue. Local views on this dispute are explored with reference to the historical context of religious practice in the village, and processes of social change over the past several generations. The aim of this study is to examine the factors affecting book tax gap and analyze the effects of book tax gap for the persistence of earnings using a panel data set of manufacturing company in Indonesia over the period 2001-2007. The key result suggests that, only tax loss utilization and the firm size significantly affect the book tax gap in Indonesia. In this research, pectin was used as anionic polymer that interact ionically with chitosan. The year 1999 has been marked as the reform era where the old law on regional autonomy has been replaced with the new ones, i.e. Law Number 22 Year 1999 and Law Number 32 Year 2004. These two new laws have promoted the emergence of new local governments throughout Indonesia, as a process of amalgamation. Between 1999 and 2007 there were 173 new local governments emerged. The assumption that amalgamation will bring more fund and development to the new region (local government) has been the reason why this phenomenon emerged.
