Developing Defect-Tolerant Demolding Process In Nanoimprint Lithography, Alborz Amirsadeghi
Developing Defect-Tolerant Demolding Process In Nanoimprint Lithography, Alborz Amirsadeghi
LSU Doctoral Dissertations
Demolding, the process to separate stamp from molded resist, is most critical to the success of ultraviolet nanoimprint lithography (UV-NIL). In the present study we first investigated adhesion and demolding force in UV-NIL for different compositions of a model UV-curable resist containing a base (either tripropyleneglycol diacrylate with shorter chain length or polypropyleneglycol diacrylate with longer chain length), a cross-linking agent (trimethylolpropane triacrylate) and a photoinitiator (Irgacure 651). The demolding force was measured using a tensile test machine after imprinting the UV resist on a silicon stamp. In general, the shorter monomer shows a larger demolding force. Decreasing the cross-linking …
From Engagement To Alignment : Exploring Enterprise Architecture Through The Lens Of Design Science, Matthew Lloyd Levy
From Engagement To Alignment : Exploring Enterprise Architecture Through The Lens Of Design Science, Matthew Lloyd Levy
LSU Doctoral Dissertations
Information Systems Design Science (ISDS) as a research community is limited by a small number of research frameworks with considerable influence. The small triad of influential ISDS research, consisting of Walls, et al (1992), March and Smith (1995), and Hevner et al (2004) have primarily limited ISDS research to the positivist paradigm and the IT artifact. In contrast, Herbert Simon’s intentions for design science never had such restrictions and intended a broader perspective. This dissertation explores Simon’s intentions for design science, the Simonian stream of thought that includes The Sciences of the Artificial, as well as much of his most …

The Relationship Between Faculty Salary Outlays And Student Retention In Public Four-Year Universities In The Sixteen States Of The Southern Regional Education Board, Belinda Powell Aaron
LSU Doctoral Dissertations
The purpose of the study was to determine if the allocation of faculty salary expenditures has an influence on first-time, full time freshmen retention rates. The population for this study was all public degree granting undergraduate four-year postsecondary institutions accredited by the Southern Region Education Board in the 16 member states with information reported to the U.S Department of Education’s Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System database. An inverse relationship exists between first-time, full time student retention and average undergraduate student age. A model exists to predict student retention rates using the regional comparable wage index to suggest this variable can …
The Seven Last Words Of Christ : A Comparison Of Three French Romantic Musical Settings By Gounod, Franck, And Dubois, Vaughn Roste
The Seven Last Words Of Christ : A Comparison Of Three French Romantic Musical Settings By Gounod, Franck, And Dubois, Vaughn Roste
LSU Doctoral Dissertations
The Seven Last Words of Christ—those sayings uttered by Jesus between his crucifixion and death as recorded in the Gospels—have long been of interest to liturgists and composers alike. Many composers have been inspired by these texts, and this study examines three settings, by Charles Gounod, César Franck, and Theodore Dubois. All were French composers who set this text in Latin during the Romantic era. Not only were these works composed in the same temporal vicinity, within twelve years, but they were also all composed within the same geographic vicinity, Paris. Franck and Dubois even worked together at the same …
Designing A Cost Effective Microalgae Harvesting Strategy For Biodiesel Production With Electrocoagulation And Dissolved Air Flotation, Adam James Dassey
Designing A Cost Effective Microalgae Harvesting Strategy For Biodiesel Production With Electrocoagulation And Dissolved Air Flotation, Adam James Dassey
LSU Doctoral Dissertations
Microalgal harvesting strategies for biodiesel production have been a major setback in the industry with high energy estimates of $3400/ton biomass by centrifugation. The present study utilized effective mass and energy balances to reduce these large operating costs. The energy for Stage 1 centrifugation was reduced by 82% when harvesting 28.5% of biomass at 18 L/min as opposed to 95% harvesting at 1 L/min. This strategy was further confirmed using electrocoagulation (EC) with Nannochloris and Dunaliella algae with perforated aluminum and iron electrodes at low (< 6 mg/L) metal ion concentrations. Despite 20% lower harvesting efficiencies, the iron electrodes were more energy and cost efficient with operating costs less than $0.03/L oil when flocculating and settling Nannochloris and Dunaliella cultures. Furthermore, a continuous multistage algae harvester using EC and dissolved air flotation (DAF) for Stage 1 harvesting and centrifugation for Stage 2 dewatering was designed. It was determined throughout the testing that greater EC costs for improved harvesting efficiencies were necessary to offset the large energy requirements of the DAF. The multistage system dewatered a low density (100 mg/L) Nannochloris to 20% solids for a final energy requirement of 1.536 kWh/kg algae ($138/ton). Using the data collected from this research and existing literature, a life cycle analysis was assembled to judge the sustainability of microalgal biofuels in Louisiana. High and low energy estimates for culturing (mixing, CO2, nutrients), harvesting, lipid extraction and energy conversion were compared with the current research. Scaling the EC/DAF system for a full size facility was expected to reduce the harvesting costs to 1.133 kWh/kg algae, resulting as $0.44/L oil for a culture with 20% lipids. Despite this improvement in harvesting costs, the production of algal for the sole purpose of biodiesel was not economically viable. Considering a system with a growth rate of 15 g/m2/day and lipid content of 20%, the energy inputs exceeded the outputs from biodiesel production by 36% under the most ideal conditions. However, incorporating additional revenue through wastewater treatment and biogas production from residual biomass could improve sustainability and profitability of algal biodiesel to an 18.5% energy surplus at its current state.
Effects Of Partial Confinement And Local Heating On Healing Efficiencies Of Self-Healing Particulate Composites, Jonah Champagne
Effects Of Partial Confinement And Local Heating On Healing Efficiencies Of Self-Healing Particulate Composites, Jonah Champagne
LSU Master's Theses
Shape memory polymers are smart materials that can be trained to hold a temporary shape through programming and regain their original shape upon heating. Since there discovery in the 1960s, much research has been devoted to the study of these polymers. Of particular interest in recent years is the study of self-healing shape memory polymers. In a previous study, it has been shown that in order for efficient healing to take place in self-healing shape memory polymers, confinement during healing is essential. Moreover, a two-step close-then-heal (CTH) approach to healing was suggested. It was shown that use of this CTH …
Secular Change In The Rate Of Dental Impaction, Kelly Heim
Secular Change In The Rate Of Dental Impaction, Kelly Heim
LSU Master's Theses
Current literature on the prevalence of impaction has not addressed the change over time (secular change) as it relates to the dimensions of the dental arcade. It has been suggested both that the prevalence of impaction is increasing and that the dimensions of the dental arcade may be decreasing, but no studies have investigated these two variables in conjunction with one another. This study aims to record secular change in the prevalence of impaction by utilizing two sets of data: individuals from the Terry collection represent a historic population from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and individuals from …
Quizzing And Retention In The High School Science Class, Donell Debacker Evans
Quizzing And Retention In The High School Science Class, Donell Debacker Evans
LSU Master's Theses
There is a need to identify educational tools and methods that are easily assimilated into a secondary science education classroom. The use of testing as an educational tool, rather than as a summative assessment only, has emerged as a possible solution. Test-enhanced learning is attributed to the testing effect (Roediger & Karpicke, 2006). The testing effect refers to the higher probability of recalling an item resulting from the act of retrieving the item from memory (testing) versus additional study trials of the item (Craney et al., 2008). A comparison of frequent testing/quizzing versus no quizzing outcomes were studied to determine …
Analysis Of Protein Aggregates And Synthetic Nanoparticles Using Capillary Electrophoresis With Light Scattering And Fluorescence Detection, Suresh Chandra Regmi
Analysis Of Protein Aggregates And Synthetic Nanoparticles Using Capillary Electrophoresis With Light Scattering And Fluorescence Detection, Suresh Chandra Regmi
LSU Doctoral Dissertations
The goal of the research presented in this dissertation is to develop capillary electrophoresis (CE) based analysis techniques for the characterization of individual particles including amyloid beta (Aâ) peptide aggregates and to apply these methods to study the aggregation of Aâ peptides. Protein self-assembly into ordered aggregates is a common and important process in normal biological function, but this process is also involved in several diseases. Amyloid beta peptide aggregation is linked to Alzheimer’s disease. Thioflavin T (ThT) has been used as a fluorescent probe for the detection of Aâ aggregation. Based on previous observations of false positive fluorescent signals …
Does Flexible Grouping Increase Retention Levels To Improve Test Scores More Than Traditional Lecture In The Science Classroom, Brian Joseph Carter
Does Flexible Grouping Increase Retention Levels To Improve Test Scores More Than Traditional Lecture In The Science Classroom, Brian Joseph Carter
LSU Master's Theses
The purpose of my research was to analyze the effect flexible grouping had on science retention scores. Education faces so many challenges today. The old way of teaching, traditional lecture is being challenged. For centuries, traditional lecture was the primary way of teaching and most colleges still use this teaching method. In this thesis traditional lecture and flexible grouping are compared. Through the use of pretests and posttests in my traditional and honors chemistry classes, I tested both strategies. Presentation of seven chapters were used for data collection and through the research, several things were discovered. In this study, honor …
Population Ecology Of The Ribbed Mussel In Southeastern Louisiana, Aaron Jacob Honig
Population Ecology Of The Ribbed Mussel In Southeastern Louisiana, Aaron Jacob Honig
LSU Master's Theses
Benthic intertidal bivalves play an essential role in estuarine ecosystems by contributing to habitat provision, water filtration, and promoting productivity. As such, ecosystem level changes that impact population distributions and persistence of local bivalve populations may have large ecosystem level consequences, making it important to better understand the population distribution and ecology of native bivalve populations. Gametogenesis, recruitment, growth, mortality, size structure and density of the ribbed mussel, Geukensia demissa, were examined across a salinity gradient in southeastern Louisiana. In summer 2012, 100-m transects were placed at interior and edge marsh plots to collect data on mussel density, and vegetation …
Unconscious Awareness Of A Branded Life: Consumer Disillusionment And The Cultivated Commercialization Of Public Health, Laura H. Crosswell
Unconscious Awareness Of A Branded Life: Consumer Disillusionment And The Cultivated Commercialization Of Public Health, Laura H. Crosswell
LSU Doctoral Dissertations
By unraveling the intricately powerful influences of pharmaceutical funding, this project examines ways in which product marketing infiltrates and contaminates public awareness efforts in the healthcare industry. Specifically, the following work deconstructs ways in which Merck Pharmaceuticals & Co. crafted a product endorsement through social marketing and nationwide lobbying efforts to most efficiently profit from the company’s Gardasil vaccination. Through means of textual analysis, interviews, focus groups, and eyetracking experimentation, I use Merck’s product endorsement efforts to illuminate the complex dynamics muddling direct-to-consumer marketing and social marketing campaigns. Social cognitive theory (SCT) offers a strong supportive foundation from which to …

Sensitivity And Resistance Of Cercospora Kikuchii, Causal Agent Of Cercospora Leaf Blight And Purple Seed Stain Of Soybean, To Selected Fungicides, Paul Patrick Price, Iii
LSU Doctoral Dissertations
ABSTRACT Isolates of Cercospora kikuchii, the causal agent of Cercospora leaf blight (CLB) and purple seed stain (PSS), were used to determine baseline sensitivities to selected quinone outside inhibitor (QoI) and demethylation inhibitor (DMI) fungicides by conducting radial growth assays on fungicide-amended media. The effective concentration to inhibit 50% radial growth (EC50) for each isolate was calculated by linear interpolation of the dose-response relationship. All baseline distributions were non-normal with outliers towards the less sensitive ends of the spectra, and median EC50 values for azoxystrobin, pyraclostrobin, trifloxystrobin, flutriafol, propiconazole, and tetraconazole were 0.081, 0.013, 0.012, 0.273, 0.143, 1.47 µg/ml, respectively. …
Decade-Scale Nutrient Enrichment Effects On Wetland Plant Community Structure, Function, And Stability, Sean A. Graham
Decade-Scale Nutrient Enrichment Effects On Wetland Plant Community Structure, Function, And Stability, Sean A. Graham
LSU Doctoral Dissertations
Human activities have increased the supply of nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) to coastal waters worldwide, threatening coastal wetlands with excess nutrient loading and subsequent eutrophication. In this dissertation, I present results from two decade-scale fertilization experiments in a Sagittaria lancifolia dominated oligohaline marsh that examined the species-, community-, and ecosystem-level effects of nutrient enrichment. My objectives were to determine (1) which nutrient limits primary production, (2) how increased supply of the limiting nutrient affects plant community structure and function, both above- and belowground, and (3) whether nutrient over-enrichment compromises ecosystem stability. Overall, significant changes in plant growth occurred with …
Minding The Gap : A Rhetorical History Of The Achievement Gap, Laura Elizabeth Jones
Minding The Gap : A Rhetorical History Of The Achievement Gap, Laura Elizabeth Jones
LSU Doctoral Dissertations
Minding the Gap: A Rhetorical History of the Achievement Gap arose as an inquiry into the rhetorical congestion around the phrase achievement gap in public discourse. Having been used in support of multiple, often competing, education agendas, the phrase seems versatile almost to the point of emptiness, and yet it seemingly retains its persuasive power. Examining the history of the phrase, I reveal that the notion of the achievement gap is rooted in the logic of segregation and the rhetoric of disability, and serves to construct students in ways that paradoxically undermine efforts to expand access to educational opportunity. Although …
Recovery Of Understory Bird Movement In Post-Pasture Amazonia, Luke L. Powell
Recovery Of Understory Bird Movement In Post-Pasture Amazonia, Luke L. Powell
LSU Doctoral Dissertations
I sought to understand how forest fragmentation and secondary growth affect avian movement at the Biological Dynamics of Forest Fragments Project (BDFFP) near Manaus, Brazil. When deforested areas are abandoned, secondary forests regenerate, allowing rainforest animals to gradually recovery their ability to use formerly inhospitable habitat. My colleagues and I captured 2773 understory birds of ten foraging guilds along the edges of primary forest fragments and variable secondary forest. Age of secondary forest along edges was the most important variable driving capture rates on primary/secondary edges. Mean recovery to pre-isolation capture rates was 26 years after abandonment, but terrestrial insectivores …
Incorporating Science-Based Approaches Into The Rapid Assessment Of Wetlands And Streams : Validation, Restoration Trajectory, And Method Development, Jacob Franklin Berkowitz
Incorporating Science-Based Approaches Into The Rapid Assessment Of Wetlands And Streams : Validation, Restoration Trajectory, And Method Development, Jacob Franklin Berkowitz
LSU Doctoral Dissertations
Human alterations within wetlands and streams have resulted in a decrease in ecological functions and associated benefits to society. The scientific literature highlights the functional benefits provided by ecosystems including flood protection, nutrient cycling, and habitat maintenance. Additionally, legislation and regulatory policy require mitigation and restoration as compensation for declines in ecological functions. As a result, the need for practical, repeatable, and technically sound ecosystem assessment methods remains essential to natural resource management. However, few studies determine the validity of rapid assessment approaches by applying quantitative parameters, especially with respect to biogeochemical functions. We assessed biogeochemical functions applied to restored …
Engineering Of Hydroponic Systems To Enhance Biomass Of Sea Oats (Uniola Paniculata), Stefanie Renee Gilliam
Engineering Of Hydroponic Systems To Enhance Biomass Of Sea Oats (Uniola Paniculata), Stefanie Renee Gilliam
LSU Master's Theses
Restoration projects use native plants such as sea oats (Uniola paniculata) to help stabilize the coast. Sea oats are a native grass that can collect blowing sand to build dunes. Sea oats used in the restoration projects can be produced using sexual or asexual techniques. An ideal seedling would be genetically distinct, have increased seed production and germination, and have superior vegetative biomass. Finding ways to produce, propagate, and grow coastal plants such as sea oats effectively is critical to efforts to reduce erosion. In this study, production of sea oats via greenhouse based hydroponic systems was studied. This was …
Characterization Of The Effect Of Alcohol On Recombinant Proteins Derived From Mammalian Adenylyl Cyclase, Emily Qualls Creekmore
Characterization Of The Effect Of Alcohol On Recombinant Proteins Derived From Mammalian Adenylyl Cyclase, Emily Qualls Creekmore
LSU Doctoral Dissertations
Research suggests that the cyclic AMP (cAMP) signaling pathway is implicated in the development of alcoholism. Previous work in our laboratory has demonstrated that alcohol enhances the activity of adenylyl cyclase (AC) in an isoform specific manner; human type 7 AC (AC7) is most enhanced by ethanol as measured by cAMP accumulation assay in whole cells. We hypothesize that alcohol enhances AC activity by directly interacting with the protein and that alcohol effects on AC can be studied using recombinant AC expressed in bacteria. Our objectives include: 1) design and optimization of the conditions for protein expression and protein purity …
Phase Behavior Of Silica-Polypeptide Hybrid Particles Immersed In Cholesteric Liquid Crystals, Melissa Elizabeth Collins
Phase Behavior Of Silica-Polypeptide Hybrid Particles Immersed In Cholesteric Liquid Crystals, Melissa Elizabeth Collins
LSU Doctoral Dissertations
Silica-polypeptide hybrid particles are core-shell colloids. Established synthetic methods ensure uniformly sized cores and provide the ability to have magnetic or fluorescent inclusions. The polypeptide shell is highly functional in its ability to respond to stimuli through changes in shape and formation of ordered phases above certain concentrations or temperatures. This research explores the interactions of hybrid particles mixed with polypeptides dispersed in solution. Depletion theory, which considers mainly entropic interactions between particles, can be used to explain the phase behavior of colloids. Due to the chemical similarities between the polypeptides attached to the surface and those free in solution, …
Identification Of Genes Responsible For Maintenance Of Differentiation Capability In Dental Pulp Stem Cells, Michael B. Flanagan
Identification Of Genes Responsible For Maintenance Of Differentiation Capability In Dental Pulp Stem Cells, Michael B. Flanagan
LSU Doctoral Dissertations
Stem cells exist in various tissues, including dental follicles and dental pulps. Adult stem cells (ASC) can be isolated from patients for autologous transplantation, which eliminates the risk of immune rejection with low or no tumorigenesis. However, one of the challenges is that ASC progressively lose their differentiation ability when cultured in vitro. This prevents expansion of large quantities of high-potential stem cells for therapeutics, especially for stem cells with limited tissue source, such as dental pulp stem cells (DPSC). The goal of this study is to define possible molecular regulation causing loss of differentiation. To achieve this goal, we …
Erotic Transgressions: Pornographic Uses Of The Victorian, Laura Helen Marks
Erotic Transgressions: Pornographic Uses Of The Victorian, Laura Helen Marks
LSU Doctoral Dissertations
This dissertation argues that while pornographic film asserts itself as the rebellious cousin to the literary and cinematic canon, it nonetheless relies on a particular Victorianness, transgressing and drawing on its perceived repressions and perversions for pornography’s own ostensible subversiveness. Through an analysis of pornographic adaptations of Lewis Carroll’s Alice books, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Robert Louis Stevenson’s Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray, this project shows that the rupture and rearticulation of social and corporeal propriety constitutes pornography’s persistent appeal. These predominantly American pornographic texts, spanning 1974—2012, appropriate canonical British …
The Development Of Capillary Electrophoresis Assays To Study Enzyme Inhibition, Sherrisse Kelly Bryant
The Development Of Capillary Electrophoresis Assays To Study Enzyme Inhibition, Sherrisse Kelly Bryant
LSU Doctoral Dissertations
New methods for studying enzymes and enzyme inhibition using capillary electrophoresis (CE) were developed and applied. Because CE is a separation technique, spectral interference is minimized by separation of substrates, products, inhibitors, and sample matrix components. Two types of CE enzyme assays were explored in this dissertation research. The first assay was based on optically gated vacancy capillary electrophoresis (OGVCE) with laser-induced fluorescence detection (LIF). This approach involves periodic photobleaching of fluorescent substrates and products. The initial goal of the study was to develop an assay for adenosine deaminase (ADA). A fluorescent ADA substrate was synthesized; however, the substrate was …

As a consequence of the growing concerns about human health and the environment, consumers are becoming more interested in grass-fed beef than conventional grain-fed beef. Therefore, the study of consumers’ preference towards grass-fed versus grain-fed beef steak is the focus of research. In this paper, 2,000 respondents who indicate they have eaten grass fed beef in the past years and 2,000 respondents that complete a nationally representative sample is the general population. Conjoint analysis is utilized to analyze the preference of consumers. Participants are presented ten hypothetical beef steaks to rate. All steaks are identical excluding their product type, source …
Development Of Soluble Dietary Fiber Based Nanofiber Delivery System For Alpha-Tocopherol, Juan Li
Development Of Soluble Dietary Fiber Based Nanofiber Delivery System For Alpha-Tocopherol, Juan Li
LSU Doctoral Dissertations
The bioactive compound vitamin E is essential for human health. It has been reported to reduce the risk of cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and aging. One of the main concerns about the availability of vitamin E is the stability, or lack thereof, associated with the processing and storage of it. Degradation could occur when vitamin E is exposed to light, temperature or oxygen, which results in the loss of efficacy. Also, the application of vitamin E is limited because of its poor solubility in aqueous media. Among the tocopherols contained in the vitamin E family, α-tocopherol (α -TOC) has the …
Herpes Simplex Virus Type 1 Glycoprotein Gm And The Membrane Associated Protein Ul11 Are Required For Virus-Induced Cell Fusion And Efficient Virus Entry, In Joong Kim
LSU Doctoral Dissertations
HSV-1 facilitates virus entry into cells and cell-to-cell spread by mediating fusion of the viral envelope with cellular membranes and fusion of adjacent cellular membranes. Although virus strains isolated from herpetic lesions cause limited cell fusion in cell culture, clinical herpetic lesions typically contain large syncytia, underscoring the importance of cell-to-cell fusion in virus spread in infected tissues. Certain mutations in gB, gK, UL20 and other viral genes, drastically enhance virus-induced cell fusion in vitro and in vivo. Recent work has suggested that gB is the sole fusogenic glycoprotein, which is regulated by interactions with viral glycoproteins gD, gH/gL, gK, …
Bachman's Sparrow (Peucaea Aestivalis) Population Structure Across The Southeastern Usa, Blain Annette Cerame
Bachman's Sparrow (Peucaea Aestivalis) Population Structure Across The Southeastern Usa, Blain Annette Cerame
LSU Master's Theses
Understanding gene flow and population structure in wildlife populations helps managers to protect distinct genetic lineages and genetic variation in small, isolated populations at high risk of extinction. I assessed genetic diversity in Bachman’s Sparrows (Peucaea aestivalis) to evaluate the role of natural barriers in shaping evolutionarily significant units as well as the effect of anthropogenically-caused habitat loss and fragmentation on population differentiation and diversity. Genetic diversity was assessed across the geographic range of Bachman’s Sparrow by genotyping 226 individuals at 18 microsatellite loci and sequencing 48 individuals at nuclear and mitochondrial DNA genes. Multiple analyses consistently demonstrated high levels …

This study examined vocal handicap among transgender women, transgender men, and individuals identifying as a non-binary gender through an online questionnaire. The goals of the study were to compare vocal handicap between transgender men and women as well as those who had participated in voice therapy and those who had not. Another goal was to identify reasons among transgender individuals for not participating in voice …
Monitoring The Survival Of Hatchery-Produced Spat And Larvae On Louisiana Public Oyster Reefs, Erin R. Leonhardt
Monitoring The Survival Of Hatchery-Produced Spat And Larvae On Louisiana Public Oyster Reefs, Erin R. Leonhardt
LSU Master's Theses
Alternative or supplemental management activities may be necessary to restore and enhance oyster production on Louisiana public oyster reefs. The production of wild oysters is variable due to anthropogenic and environmental factors that affect recruitment, growth and survival. The availability and structure of cultch material for larval recruitment and survival is particularly important to maintain oyster production. Beginning in 2011, the Sea Grant Oyster Hatchery on Grand Isle, LA and the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) collaborated to test the survival of hatchery-produced spat and hatchery-produced larvae deployed on public oyster grounds and cultch plant sites. In 2011, …

Three From The Bottom : Examining Racial And Ethnic Identity Among Italian Americans In Bossier City, Jamie Rene Digilormo
LSU Master's Theses
This study examines the use of ethnic and racial labels as they are used in the construction of social identity among Italian Americans in Bossier City, Louisiana. In particular, the researcher is interested in how racial and ethnic identities are constructed through linguistic features, such as labels, and how these labels can often reflect the beliefs, values, or ideologies that influence the speaker. By examining which labels are used and how, it is possible to better understand what it means for each participant to be an Italian American today. The researcher relies heavily on Foucault’s notion of knowledge/power and the …
