This study aimed to evaluate the antifungal activity of Piper aduncum secondary metabolites along with additive oils against Sclerotium rolfsii, causing stem rot on patchouli cuttings. It was conducted in two stages—an in vitro experiment using a completely randomized design with seven treatments: P. aduncum oil, combinations of P. aduncum oil with citronella grass, lemongrass, cinnamon leaf, and cloves leaf oils, a synthetic pesticide (propineb 70%), and without essential oils. The second was carried out in vivo using a factorial completely randomized design, in which the first factor was five antifungal formulations, and the second was the spraying interval. …

Journal of Indonesian Health Policy and Administration

Intimate partner violence (IPV) is a public health issue that can affect the well-being of women, their families, and the child-rearing environment. Meanwhile, wasting in under-five children reflects acute malnutrition linked to food insecurity, infectious diseases, poverty, and access to healthcare services. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between the prevalence of IPV among women in the past 12 months and the prevalence of wasting in children under the age of five at the national level. Peperzak used her relative freedom to join the Dutch Resistance, forging documents and assisting Jews in finding hiding places. Postcolonial studies scholar Muzna Rahman reviews Children No More: Were and Are Gone, Hilla Medalia’s Academy Award-nominated short documentary. The film documents pro-peace Israeli activists who gather regularly in Tel Avivi to hold a silent vigil for Palestinian children killed by Israel forces. Against the backdrop of everyday urban life, the protestors simply hold photos of the children, commemorating their lives rather than their brutal deaths. The images of Palestinian children held by Israeli activities highlights the similarities between the groups, while the rage of passersby reveals the danger that Israelis who advocate for peace face in their work.
