Four for Gideon, composed by American Michael Schachter, is a new setting for four Czech and Polish folk songs, with tunes previously arranged by Gideon Klein (1919–1945) during his imprisonment in the Terezin (Theresienstadt) Ghetto, a concentration camp in the present-day Czech Republic. Klein served as a music director there before being transferred to Auschwitz, where he was murdered. In July 2023, five individuals of Parupeneus jansenii were collected from the Parangipettai landing center, south-eastern India (Bay of Bengal). The standard length ranged from 140 to 150 mm, and two females and three males were recorded. This study confirms the first distributional record and the westernmost valid occurrence of this species in Indian coastal waters. P. jansenii significantly differs from P. heptacanthus in having fewer pectoral fin rays, more gill rakers on the upper limb, and 27 lateral line scales. Hypothyroidism, characterized by insufficient thyroid hormone production, affects approximately 5% of the population, especially women, thus increasing pregnancy-related risks. Conventional screening mainly measures thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) and free thyroxine (FT4). Detecting the presence of anti-thyroid peroxidase (anti-TPO) antibodies indi-cates autoimmune thyroid disease. This study developed an indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kit for detecting circulating TPO using polyclonal antibodies generated in rabbits. TPO was isolated from positive sera of pa-tients with hypothyroidism, purified by electroelution, and confirmed as a 52-kDa protein by Western blot. Levofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic with higher solubility than those from previous generations, but it is light-sensitive. Antibiotics, including levofloxacin, are generally prescribed in combination with nonsteroidal anti-inflamma-tory drugs (NSAIDs) to treat inflammatory infections. Furthermore, NSAIDs have poor water solubility, which can be improved by forming salts or multicomponent systems. Experimentally developing corrosion inhibitors requires a significant amount of money and time. In silico advancement empowers selecting inhibitor molecules based on their properties derived from theoretical studies, thereby reducing costs. This research employs the sphere packing volume (SPV) model to optimize the density of composite propellants thereby enhancing rocket performance. We systematically varied the diameters of spherical ammonium perchlorate (AP) particles (50 and 400 µm) and aluminum powder (Al) particles (10 and 30 µm). These particles were incorporated at an ideal AP:Al ratio of 4:1 into a matrix of hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene and toluene diisocyanate. By adjusting the AP ratio for each Al particle size and considering theoretical and tap densities, we precisely calculated the SPV value for each composition. Degenerative diseases associated with oxidative stress necessitate the development of effective antioxidant therapies. Alstonia scholaris, a medicinal plant known for its diverse pharmacological properties, was investigated for its antioxidant potential using computational approaches. This study employed molecular docking to evaluate the interactions between bioactive compounds from Alstonia scholaris and key antioxidant target proteins, including lipoxygenase, CYP2C9, NADPH oxidase, and bovine serum albumin. Pharmacokinetic analyses based on Lipinski’s Rule of Five, along with toxicity assessments, were conducted to evaluate the compounds’ drug-likeness and safety profiles.
