There has been limited research conducted and significantly limited scholarly articles on consumer attitudes towards the current TSA prohibited items list. If the research were to be conducted a year after the September 11, 2001 attacks, the results of the research would be negatively skewed, indicating the majority of passengers would approve of the TSA prohibited list. But after almost thirteen years since the devastating act of terrorism and no major attempt to repeat a similar terrorist activity, would airline consumers continue to fly if the TSA amended the prohibited items list and allowed passengers to bring on liquids and …

An analysis of accident and incident data from the Federal Aviation Administration Runway Safety database and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) database was performed to determine causal factors for airport surface deviations over a 12-year period, from January 1, 2001 through December 31, 2012. The Human Factors Analysis and Classification System was used as the framework to analyze the NTSB data for causal factors.
Analysis of the NTSB data produced 289 airport surface deviation cases, which were analyzed for causal evidence, and the results indicated that skill-based errors occurred at least once in the largest frequency of airport surface …

There has been extensive work in crime scene reconstruction of physical locations, and much is known in terms of digital forensics of computing devices. However, the network has remained a nebulous combination of entities that are largely ignored during an investigation due to the transient nature of the data that flows through the networks. This paper introduces an architecture for network path reconstruction using the network layer reachability information shared via OSPF Link State Advertisements and the routines and functions of OSPF::rt_sched() as applied to the construction of identical Link State Databases for all routers within an Area.
