This study aims to describe the career choice tendency of state senior high school students in the industry 4.0 era. This research is quantitative descriptive research, in the form of a percentage, involving 236 students as the participants. The sample was chosen using cluster random sampling technique. Procrastination is a problem that many students experience. This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of cognitive behavior modification to reduce academic procrastination of high school students. To achieve this goal, this study used a single subject design. Three male students and two female students were selected as research participants using a purposive sampling technique. Data on the rate of procrastination in the baseline 1 (A1), intervention (B) and baseline 2 (A2) phases were obtained from the academic procrastination observation sheet. This study aims to discover the effectiveness of group counseling with self-instruction and time management techniques in decreasing academic procrastination in mathematics learning. This research used a randomized pre-test post-test comparison group design with sixteen participants selected through a purposive random sampling technique. Eight of those participants (group 1) used the self-instruction technique; meanwhile, the other eight participants (groups 2) used the time management technique. The data was obtained through an academic procrastination scale, referring to academic procrastination aspects, developed by Tuckman. Previous studies have indicated that psychological well-being has a positive contribution to mental health and is a predictor of academic achievement, self-control, life satisfaction, gratitude, optimism, hope, and happiness. Psychological well-being is also influenced by social support and religiosity. This study aimed to examine the effect of social support on students’ psychological well-being, with religiosity as a moderator. Introduction: Burnout is common among health professions trainees characterized by emotional exhaustion induced by repeated stressors. Although traditional stress management activities to promote wellness are effective in reducing stress short-term, alternative approaches are needed with the potential for long-term impact. To address burnout among students at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), a vocal group was formed to provide a creative outlet. Students seeking doctoral degrees in training may have limited interest in research, and research courses are typically taught outside of the discipline by individuals unaffiliated with the counseling profession. Research courses may not be aligned with the needs of counseling researchers who focus on individuals and small groups. Disruptive student behaviors have a negative impact on students socially and academically. In 2019, only 3% of refugees had access to higher education. Using qualitative research methods of surveys and semi-structured interviews, this study explores the perspectives of two student affairs professionals and six individuals with formal refugee status granted by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and in possession of a refugee travel document, who have not yet been resettled and are pursuing higher education in the United States. Research on students classified as Emotionally Disturbed (ED) shows that a disproportionate number of ED students are educated outside of the general education setting. In New Jersey a little more than half of students classified as ED are not educated in general education classrooms for most of their school day. The academic performance of ED students is often lower in self-contained environments than in the general education setting (Oelrich, 2012).
