Advocating for robust, aggressive, and advanced sustainability is a direction that is ideal yet challenging. It means not only decreasing additional harm to the environment but, at the same time, objectively using renewable energy flow. Embedding sustainability as part of organizational culture appears to be a daunting task. Not all enterprise managers comprehensively understand the phenomenon, which entails proper awareness of its benefits and consequences. This qualitative study focuses on Philippine business enterprises' ability to embed a regenerative sustainable culture. This Essay examines the moral and policy implications of the NCAA’s use of Title IX to argue for legislative immunity from antitrust and employment law. Regardless of if there is merit to the NCAA’s in-court assertions that Title IX prevents employment status, revenue sharing, and other reforms, the NCAA’s requests to Congress for legislative protection and immunity requires a monumental degree of faith that an all-powerful NCAA would sincerely carry out its supposed commitment to gender equity. Yet this Essay finds that the NCAA has hardly earned the level of trust necessary to grant it that power. To the contrary, …

This qualitative case study answers the central research question “How are compassionate leadership behaviors encouraged and/or discouraged in the workplace?” Interviews with five individuals from one work team in an Am Law 100 law firm revealed how the compassionate leadership behaviors of integrity, accountability, presence, empathy, authenticity, and dignity (Shuck et al., 2019) were applied at work. This research explored four themes: leadership courage, growth mindset, empowerment, and coaching performance. Each theme has four subthemes further describing the data: Leadership courage: managing consistently and fairly, being transparent, communicating honestly, and taking risks; Growth mindset: working intentionally, developing others, learning continuously, …

A 34-year-old female presented with a failing implant in the esthetic zone. The implant was removed, and the site was reconstructed with guided bone regeneration and a pedicle connective tissue graft. Esthetic crown lengthening was performed on the adjacent teeth to create a harmonious gingival symmetry. Full ceramic crowns were placed on all teeth, including an implant-supported fixed partial denture. Follow-ups at 3, 6, and 12 months showed proper healing with healthy soft tissues and correct bilateral gingival symmetry. The pink and white esthetic scores improved from 8.7 pre-operatively to 19.2 post-final restorations. The patient was pleased with the esthetic …

Following the murder of George Floyd, the U.S. Congress called upon the National Organization for Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) to play a role in the reimagining of policing in America, including a transformation of policing from a warrior to a guardian mentality. In turn, NOBLE partnered with the Institute for Polarities of Democracy (the Institute) to conduct an analysis of the 21st Century Policing Report (the Report), which focused on addressing a myriad of issues that challenged the relationship between the police and communities. تهدف الدراسة إلى تحديد اثر القيادة الأبوية المتمثلة في (القيادة الخيرية، والقيادة الأخلاقية، والقيادة السلطوية). في الحد من الانسحاب الوظيفي (الانسحاب الجسدي، والانسحاب النفسي) في شركة زين العراق للاتصالات، واعتمدت الدراسة في عملية جمع البيانات على الاستبانة بوصفة أداة رئيسية لتحقيق هدفها. اذ تم توزيع (258) استمارة لتحديد مدى توافر ابعاد القيادة الأبوية والانسحاب الوظيفي، وتم استرجاع (211) استمارة صالحة للتحليل الاحصائي. وعن طريق استعمال مجموعة من الأساليب الإحصائية تتمثل في التوزيع الطبيعي، عامل الثبات (ألفا كرو نباخ). الموثوقية، المتوسط الحسابي، الانحراف المعياري، معامل الانحدار المتعدد، فيما بينت نتائج الدراسة وجود علاقة تأثير ايجابية ذات دلالة إحصائية بين القيادة الأبوية …
