Budget Participation: Interaction Effects Of Work Engagement And Empowerment, Yew-Ming Chia Dr, Lewis Grant Mr

This study investigates the two-way interaction effects of work engagement and empowerment on the degree of employees' budget participation industry in Scotland. Data are collected from 159 employees via an online questionnaire and analyzed using multiplicative regression analysis. The results confirm the presence of a two-way interaction effect between work engagement and empowerment on the degree of budget participation at a statistically significance level (p = 0.0002). Further analysis indicates that the higher the empowerment, the greater its enhancing effect on the positive relationship between work engagement and the degree of employees' budget participation. Lingkungan kerja sangat berpengaruh dalam diri karyawan dan yang berada di sekitarnya dalam menjalani tugas-tugasnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui lingkungan kerja, employee engagement dan kepuasan kerja karyawan non medis di RS Hermina Bogor. This study investigates the impact of supply chain resilience and robustness on firm performance and also examines the significance of supply chain risk management (SCRM) in minimizing the consequences of disruptions on supply chain performance in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Data was gathered using convenience sampling technique through a survey from management staff (n=409) working in textile companies operating in Pakistan. In this article, we extend the innovation literature by examining how firms respond to crisis, specifically exogenous crises. At their early onset, crises may represent a window of opportunity for innovation, but it is not equally allocated across firms. We created a unique database of 636 biopharmaceutical firms, from 24 countries and territories, developing innovative treatments during the early outbreak of the COVID-19 crisis to study this phenomenon. We found that firms acted strategically to the shifting external environment and attempted to capitalize on the opportunity by pursuing different but complementary innovation strategies (i.e., radical versus repurposed). This paper's research question, "How has the COVID-19 pandemic changed the concept and practice of leadership? In the end much of the empirical evidence for what COVID-19 did or didn't change in leadership practices is still relatively ambiguous. So it is too early to say that "business as usual" is gone for good. And COVID furthered and deepened long term trends, accelerating the great resignation and a dramatic revaluation of intangible assets like reputation, intellectual property and human capital. In response, there is a clear need for a new leadership mindset for the 21st century after the COVID pandemic.

Purpose: Drawing on attribution theory, this research examines how and when abusive supervision affects insubordination, focusing on employees’ attribution bias related to leader gender.

Methodology: Two mixed-method studies were used to test the proposed research framework. Study 1 adopted a 2 (abusive supervision: low vs. high) by 2 (leader gender: male vs. female) by employee gender-leadership bias quasi-experiment. A sample of 173 U.S. F&B employees completed Study 1. In Study 2, 116 hospitality employees responded to two-wave time-lagged surveys.
