上述的思考促成了〈超越婚姻〉聲明的出現，這份聲明有 250 個來自 LGBT 族群、酷 兒及連線的組織者、學者、藝術家、作家、教育者的親筆簽名（2006 年 7 月 25 日這份文 件公佈後有更多人加入連署）。這份文件也開啟了擴大婚姻平權運動的進程以便包含比婚 姻更為廣泛的關係形式，並以擴大普及社經正義，超越此刻法律的範疇為目標。有鑑於目 前的政治僵局──只有少數幾個州提供婚姻權及民事結合權，而大部分的州除了禁止同性 婚姻之外，更禁止任何異於傳統婚姻的親密關係或家庭關係──我們組織起來促進關係形 式與家庭認可的民主化和多樣化，並且擴大讓所有人都能享受的社會安全網，這不但是正 確方向，也將可以切實改善人們的生活處境，包括老年伴侶關係、多代同堂的移民家族、 非配偶照護關係等等。更多關係都可以納入親密關係的想像藍圖，我們不必屈就婚姻，我 們應該可以享受更多。

過去 40 年裡，新自由主義全球資本主義經濟興起成長，經歷了景氣的大好也崩跌到經 濟危機，在此同時，其思考邏輯已經取得了無法挑戰的主流常識地位，就像目前流行的口 號所言：「沒有別路可走」。然而抗爭仍然持續延燒，從南美雨林原住民族的抗爭，到反 跨國企業、反全球化運動，甚至阿拉伯之春（Arab Spring）的起義。在美國，從 2011 年開 始，佔領華爾街運動（Occupy movement）已經從華爾街蔓延到美國其他城市甚至全球， 與各地原有的抗議行動合流，相互學習。這些抗爭打開了重要的空間，以質疑大家習以為 常的政治經濟情勢，對於像我們這樣屬於廣義左翼政治的人，現在正是我們行動的時刻和 機會。在下個 10 年或者是 20 年裡，我們或許可以結束新自由主義的蠻橫統治，擴大另類 形式的社會、文化、政治、與經濟生活。

同志婚姻的大勢已定。不管美國高等法院如何裁示，剩下的問題只是還有幾個障礙、還要多少時間才能讓同志婚姻在美國得到全面認可。

然而我卻仍然充滿不安，就像過去這些年同志婚姻權戰役進行的時候一樣不安。我仍然在問：同志婚姻真的代表了我們的身分和需要嗎？

如果得到婚姻權，這個勝利對我們的衝擊會和我們承受的壓迫一樣深刻嗎？婚姻權能給我們平等嗎？能讓我們「正常」嗎？我們真的希望「正常」嗎？婚姻權就是我們的願景嗎？婚姻權是 LGBTQ 運動爭取正義和接納時應該優先考量的議題嗎？

Scholarly research on the subject of the swift pace of change in support for same-sex marriage has evolved significantly over the last ten years. The shift has gone beyond the scholarship's initial description amongst demographic groups on how opinion has changed on gay rights issues, like same-sex marriage, to an examination of why the change has occurred. This video is a visual representation of the frustrations that I suffered from when I, a queer, gender non-conforming, person of color, went to “pasty normals” (a term defined by Jose Esteban Munoz to describe normative, non-exotic individuals) to get a definition of what Punk meant and where I fit into it. The hegemonic Grindr clone is a gay male Grindr user who enforces the privileging of traditional masculine gender performance and condemns effeminacy. Through this project’s own field work along with the website “douchebagsofgrindr,” the hegemonic Grindr clone is here within analyzed. Drawing upon the theory ofhegemony articulated by Gramsci, a historical analysis of the 1970s urban gay male clone, and contemporary analysis and research, the project argues that the hegemonic Grindr clones, while only a minority group of Grindr users, rules over the cyberspace as sexual gatekeepers. North American photographer Catherine Opie and South African photographers Zanele Muholi and Jean Brundrit create art that documents the lived experiences of queer and LGBTI-identified individuals and communities. Although their varying geographic and cultural specificities contribute to diverse representations, this research applies a queer transnational methodology to analyze how each artist uses the body as a site for re-visualizing queer identities. Employing cultural theorist, José Esteban Muñoz’s conception of a queer futurity reveals how these artistic projects resist the majoritarian politics of the present and envision potential utopian spaces of transformation. Context: Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and massage therapy are manual techniques that claim to be able to increase blood flow to treated areas. There are no studies on human subjects that have directly investigated the effects of IASTM on blood flow. Objective: To compare the effects of Graston Technique (GT) and Massage therapy on calf blood flow, using skin temperature measures (a valid, indirect measureof blood flow), on the lower leg. Design: Single-blinded prospective, longitudinal, controlled, repeated-measures design. The general lack of knowledge on basic aspects of the biology of temperate and tropical bats, their low reproductive rates, and threats such as white-nose syndrome, wind farms, and habitat loss, make them very susceptible to population declines. My research uses an innovative technique, the analysis of stable isotopes, to study the ecology of bat migration with the main goals of contributing significantly to the understanding of bat biology and assessing the conservation status and susceptibility of bats.
