A novel electrochemical platform for the high sensitivity detection of riboflavin was constructed by Au nanoparticles/polydopamine/carbon nanotubes (Au-PDA-MWCNTs) nanocomposite modified glassy carbon electrode. The Au-PDA-MWCNTs nanocomposite was synthesized by in situ reduction method. The characteristics of the as-prepared Au-PDA-MWCNTs nanocomposite modified electrodes were investigated by using UV-Vis spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and electrochemical methods. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) were used to study the electrochemical behavior of riboflavin (RF) at Au-PDA-MWCNTs nanocomposite modified electrodes. The DNA-multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs)/glassy carbon (GC) electrode was prepared by modifying the DNA functionalized MWCNTs composite on a GC electrode. A novel non-enzymatic H2O2 sensing electrode was fabricated by electrodepositing Pt nanoparticles on the DNA-MWCNTs/GC electrode. The modified electrodes were characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM). The response properties of the sensing electrode to H2O2 were investigated by cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry. Determination Of Folic Acid By Composite Film Electrode Modified With Poly-Alizarin Red And Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes, Xue-Ping Du, Tong-Fang Lou, Ying Dong, Jian-Ying Qu

The novel modified electrode was fabricated by electropolymerizing alizarin red onto the surface of multi-walled carbon nanotubes on glassy carbon electrode surface, which exhibited good electrocatalytic activity for folic acid. The experimental results showed that the reduction peak current of folic acid at -0.63 V was linear to its concentration over the range of 1.25×10-6 ~ 4.00×10-5 mol·L-1 in the optimized experimental conditions (R = 0.9985). Test for recovery was carried out by standard addition method, and the recovery ratios were in the range of 92.0% ~ 102.0%. The modified electrode was prepared simply with excellent …

The PANI/NiHCF nanocomposite particles were synthesized on the CNTs-modified Pt substrate by one-step co-polymerization using cyclic voltammetry. Electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance (EQCM) technique was adopted to investigate the polymerization process of the nanocomposite particles and the mechanism of ion exchange in aqueous solution containing Cd2+. The hybrid modified electrodes were obtained by electrochemical deposition of copper-cobalt hexacyanoferrate(CuCoHCF) /multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs) on the surface of glassy carbon electrode.The effects of the amount of MWCNTs and composition of electrolyte on the properties of modified electrode had been researched.The copper cobalt hexacyanoferrate-MWCNTs modified electrodes show excellent electrochemical properties compared with that modified only copper-cobalt hexacyanoferrate.The CuCoHCF-MWCNTs/GCE exhibits obvious electrocatalytic activity towards oxidation of hydrogen peroxide.The oxidation peak current increased linearly with the concentration of hydrogen peroxide in the range of 3.16 × 10-5 ~ 2.92 × 10-3 mol· L-1.The linear equation is given up ip(μA) = 0.5529 + …

Electrochemical properties of a novel monoruthenated porphyrin [Ru(phen)2(MPyTMPP)Cl]+ (where phen =1,10-phenanthroline,MPyTMPP =5-(3-pyridyl)-10,15,20-tris-(4-methylphenyl) porphyrin) on a multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) modified glassy carbon (GC) electrode with the participation of dihexadecyl phosphate (DHP) have been investigated by using cyclic voltammetry,differential pulse voltammetry,UV-Visible spectroscopy and fluorescence spectroscopy. It is found that [Ru(phen)2(MPyTMPP)Cl]+ has the ability to adsorb strongly onto the MWCNTs-DHP modified GC electrode and exhibits a pair of redox waves controlled by surface electrochemical process. We synthesized gold-platinum electrocatalysts supported on multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs) with high utilization by a simple one-step method.A high Pt loading series of bimetallic AuPt/MWCNTs catalysts were prepared by the improved ethylene glycol reduction method,and then were compared in terms of the electrocatalytic activity for methanol electro-oxidation using cyclic voltammetry(CV) and chronoamperometry in alkaline solutions.The structure of AuPt/MWCNTs was characterized by the transmission electron microscopy(TEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD) and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS).The results showed that the AuPt/MWCNTs catalysts had high Pt utilization,uniform AuPt nanoparticles size and good electrocatalytic activity for methanol electro-oxidation.The effect of Au/Pt mass ratio on electrocatalytic activity was also investigated.The …
