Sexual and reproductive healthcare is fraught with both historic and current examples of oppression, systemic abuse, and injustice across gender, race, class, and ability. Still, high quality and responsive contraceptive care may provide numerous health benefits, the ability to prevent and plan pregnancies, and opportunities for exercising autonomy and greater educational and economic attainment. Many initiatives focus on quality improvement at the institutional or provider level, but these do not get to every institution or every provider. Background: Children with all types of disabilities are more likely to be inactive due to a variety of factors. Children with neurodevelopmental challenges such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and/or mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression face unique barriers to exercise, including increased demands on parenting resources. INRODUCTION: The mindful McQuade Initiative was created to bring mindful practices to Merrimack students, faculty, and staff One of the many activities the library offers as part of the Mindful McQuade Initiative is use of exercise bikes as study breaks. The purpose of this paper is to examine the efficacy of the influenza vaccine and its implication on vaccination policy as maintaining or increasing vaccination efficacy is important to public health intervention against this virus. To achieve this purpose a literature review will be conducted based on peer-reviewed research to examine current vaccination policy, efficacy of the influenza vaccine, approaches to improve efficacy, and the gap between vaccination policy and scientific evidence.
